United Kingdom | 01 July 2022I purchased the Wandsworth armchair for £499 on the 4th of June from a lady call Christina Monteau. Paid with debit card over the phone. When the armchair arrived the following Monday the two men could not fit it up my stairs so they had to take it back to the warehouse. I immediately got in touch with same lady and explained this to her, she said she would get in touch with the warehouse. She didn't. I phoned her number and a man answered the phone, I explained again to him what happened, and he said he would get back to me in the morning, I haven't heard from him since. I tried calling the number again q few more times only to get no reply. This is now how a reputable company would treat their customers. I haven't heard from her since and it's the 30th of June 2022 today. I am down £ 499 pounds and no armchair. I am now seeking legal advice. Mr Mary Cull.

United Kingdom | 30 June 2022Ordering was easy, needed to speak to a sales assistant who was very helpful! Issue with delivery, drivers damaged a leg on the chair. Not a problem though, I called , a replacement leg was sent and a technician arrived to repair at a mutually agreed time. When we’re ready, we will replace our existing suite as the quality and service from Distinctive Chesterfields was first class. 5* all round from us!

United Kingdom | 30 June 2022Beautiful sofa and chair. Quality and colour is excellent. Incorrect chair was supplied, however they offered to rectify and were apologetic. However we kept the chair delivered as in the end it worked better in our room than the one initially ordered by us! Our only criticism was Furdeco who didn't provide the white glove service expected and were less than careful with our furniture. Thankfully it was well packaged and OK on inspecting.

United Kingdom | 28 June 2022My 2 seater sofa &footstool arrived on time, but that's where things went downhill with the courier firm Furdeco which you are using. Two young men arrived bright&early in the day they said, and then began to shove &push the sofa through my front door. It wouldn't quite go in, so they said that they would have to leave it outside. In a pensioner living alone, so I couldn't agree to that. Instead , I suggested they remove the feet. (any man would have known this, and as I already had a 3+2 seater chesterfield in another room, I was sure it would go through the door ok.) They insisted that I sign their disclaimer form, so before I would do that, I wanted to check the delivery over to make sure it was ok. I began taking off the protective plastic wrapping with a small pair of scissors. The men wanted to get off asap to their next drop off, so they started helping to get the wrapping off using a Stanley knife of all things. I did a quick check, and it seemed ok. Later that day I noticed a small slash right in the centre of one of the seat cushions. The cut had only gone through the "skin" part, and not right through the leather.I can only presume that it was done with the Stanley knife as they were in such a rush to get off to their next dropoff point. They left as soon as I had signed their disclaimer form. As I closed the door behind them, I realised that it wouldn't close. They had actually twisted something, and now, a once smooth opening&closing door will only close with a good bang. It also catches on something when it's opened too. The courier firm you are using, (FURDECO) employ young men who have no idea how to treat your furniture or your customers. It took ME to suggest they take the feet off so that they could get it in easier. They are more interested in getting their disclaimer forms signed and rushing off to their next job. I have tried many times to give them a well deserved fitting review, but each time I've tried it just wouldn't send. So unfortunately, I have to just let you know how they treat your furniture and your customers. Regards, S. A. Heaton.

United States | 28 June 2022The staff at the London store were so helpful as I was purchasing from overseas. Their delivery people were considerate of the house, doors/walls when they installed this rather large piece. The couch looks lovely, the price was very good, the only downside is that I find the cushions rather firm, having a Chesterfield in my residence, which is more relaxed, however, time may soften it. On a long Chesterfield two cushions rather than three would be a good design. Makes for a better look (and no one ever sits in the middle). Other than that I would definitely recommend as very good value for money for a very nice looking couch.

United Kingdom | 28 June 2022We ordered a four seater Chesterfield and a chair for our livingroom. Being able to choose the style, fabric and colour was great. Customer service was excellent, they engaged in many questions about size/cushioning/measurements as we were unsure the items would fit in our house. Both items were delivered smoothly and well packaged - the look great and are very comfortable. I was nervous about ordering online without seeing /sitting on the furniture but there was nothing to worry about. Very well made and high quality items. I'd say this was well worth the money and even though there was a delay with our order, it was nowhere near what you'd wait for a couch from one of the main retailers before covid.

United States | 28 June 2022I orders a 4500 sofa suppose to get a white glove delivery and didn’t even come close far from it delivery fee of 400.00 and I had one person drop it off and I had to find a way to put the legs on my self. Sad got no satisfaction from Christina my sales rep

United States | 27 June 2022I bought 2 chesterfield sofas about 2 years ago. Im not happy with the quality of the leather. It’s already fading ( even though I kept it covered with a blanket). They scratch easily. Also, make a noise every time I sit down.

United Kingdom | 17 May 2022Think twice before buying your new sofa from this company! I can’t tell you how upset and disappointed I am after spending over £2000 on our sofas! Yes the sofas looks lovely and the frame is fine etc the issue we are having is the cheap, flimsy leather that’s been used! Our cat isn’t allowed in the living room anymore. He’s a gentle cat who has never purposely scratched the sofas, if he lands on the sofa wrong he just wrecks it. The sofas are constantly covered which isnt the look I wanted. I hoovering the living room today and caught it with my wedding ring which has left another scrape i don’t want in the leather. We had our old leather sofas from dfs over 10 years ago and they were that good we were able to re sell them on market place for a fair price…we’ve had kids, cats and dogs on that sofa and never had any issues. These ones haven’t lasted a year so far let alone 10. We’ve messaged the company for advice and to let them know about the leather as its not withstanding family life. They asked us for proof with pictures which we sent weeks ago and now we are being ignored which I DO NOT appreciate and I am seeking further advice on this matter from citizens advice! Thanks for nothing especially ignoring an unhappy customer that’s not how to do business!
