This company I cannot recommend highly enough .I actually travelled the six hour round trip to see the sofa, but quite honestly did not really need to . Sophie was very helpful with everything really and the help with choice of colour was spot on as when the sofas arrived, and I had been worrying had I chosen the right colour .I need not have worried they are brilliant., also the delivery men were wonderful could not do enough to help. If anyone out there is considering buying from this company, go ahead with no worries ,there will go the extra mile to help you .

We bought a Goodwood two-seater in premium Etna red, a Paxton wing chair in antique red, a Ragley footstool in antique red and a Admiral office chair in antique red at Distinctive Chesterfields. Of course at first there was the question in which leather and in what color we should order our furniture. Mrs. Maxine Wilby has with moral and practical support stood us aside from the beginning. She tried to help us to simplify the decision, she sent us samples of leather and pictures of finished furniture. Also our special desire to see the creation of our furniture in pictures, Mrs. Wilby has fulfilled without hesitation. It does not belong to the generally accepted procedure. We could trust from the date of sending of the catalog through till to the delivery the excellent work by Mrs. Maxine Wilby. Now our desired furniture is finally at home. We are overjoyed and marvel every day about the perfect processing of the material. The undisputed high craftsmanship was provided in the superb quality and with much passion and will. I have had the Hampton Chesterfield now for a few weeks and thought I would just add that it is an absolute pleasure to sit in it and wallow. The seat cushions now have a look of having been sat upon and it helps the whole sofa have a feel of distinction (pun intended). I am delighted with my purchase and would recommend D.C. to any of my friends.

One of the key issues with buying a sofa on-line is that you can't sit on it. They cost a lot of money and you have to live with it for years, so its an important decision. We looked around in the regular high street stores and looked online as well. What I found with the some of the most reputable high street names, that despite the top dollar price marks, these sofas were all made in the far east and sometimes made with MDF frames !!.. Ended up loving the look of the hampton chesterfield on the opening page of the distinctive chesterfields website.. So my wife and I did the only sensible thing.. We drove to Yorkshire to see the factory.. Wanted to see it existed and of course sit in some of the sofa's before we parted with a couple of grand. Was pleased to see a busy workshop and spent some time in the showroom sitting on the various sofa types and cushion options.. Needless to say we took the plunge and got our sofa on order. On delivery day the sofa arrived, looked amazing except for 2 scuff marks on the bottom part of the sofa.. Looked like it had been scraped against something.. So, stuff happens right ? Whats important is how it is handled.. 1st good thing was that the folks delivering the sofa actually worked for dinstinctivechesterfields, so there was none of this 'I'm just a delivery driver' business... The delivery guy took photo's of the scuffs and assured me it would be repaired. Sure enough, repair arrange.. no hassle.. no delay.. So anyone not sure about spending thousands on an internet company, my advice would be.. 1. Go and see them - Sit in what you are going to buy. If you are going to spend a couple of grand, then its worth the journey 2. Products are excellent and very high quality. 3. Excellent customer service. and while you are thinking it.. no - I don't work for distinctive chesterfields :-) - Just pleased with my purchase !

We went for a very nice chesterfield, leather sofa. Initially we were a bit worried about buying a sofa online without having "tried" it before in "person", but the customer service was great and when we received the sofa, we were not dissapointed at all!

We visited the factory to look round and decide exactly what we wanted. We saw all round the workshop and found it very helpful in making our decision. After ordering we were given an estimated time of completion which was kept to, and the delivery was exemplary. There was a phone call an hour before they arrived, the furniture was well-wrapped and the final parts of the assembly - feet etc - done in the living room. The delivery men were very helpful - even to the extent of having to get the chesterfield into the living room by means of next doors' garden, removing a fence panel and coming through the conservatory! We did a lot of online research looking for a Chesterfield as we have no local retailers. We were very reticent about spending this kind of money on a product we has not seen and touched so we arranged a 10 hour round trip to visit Distinctive Chesterfield. Despite the fact that they did not have the sofa we were interested in on display, the quality of the sofa's was obvious. & we took the gamble of ordering unseen. I've wanted a wing back chair for some time, so I was thrilled to finally get my hands on my very own chesterfield in deluxe ebony a few months ago. It hasn't disappointed. A hug in chesterfield form, the chair is a leathery cocoon of loveliness. I now have my eye on a sofa in the same shade!

Leather samples were exactly like suite. Delivery was bang on what was forecast and the suite looks fantastic.

We looked all over the country and every chesterfield supplier in the land only to be disappointed, then we found distinctive chesterfields local to where we live, British and locally made. We arranged to go to the showroom and were showed around, we were not pressured into buying one, just take your time there is no rush we were told, we ordered two three seater sofas while we were there because we were so impressed. The staff were so helpful and obliging nothing was too much trouble for them. It took no time at all to be made and delivered, we are so happy that we chose distinctive chesterfields the sofas look amazing and so comfortable all are friends have commented on them, and we have been singing their praises to anyone who will listen saying you must buy one as they are wonderful value for money and look so much more expensive than we paid and will last forever, the workman ship and effort put into the sofas is clear to be seen.
