I found out when i purchased a second unit on 05/31/2022 ,order# 152044775,that i was overcharged.I requested a credit for the shipping charge and the tax on the shipping charge I was told i had to speak to a customer service person in this area.i spoke an agent named kaitlin .she was very helpful and told me she would process a refund to my credit card.

United States | 10 May 2022I purchased a large built in refrigerator from them in mid-April with the understanding they could hold shipping until mid-May. During my discussion with the sales rep I also verified that it would be inside delivery. Fast forward ten days and I received a call from a freight company, they wanted to know when they could delivery the fridge. I wasn't really ready for it, but trying to be flexible I told them they could bring it on May 4th. They then stated it would be placed on the curb. Let me reiterate, this thing weighs in excess of 700lb, so getting it from the curb into the home by myself was not going to happen. At that point I told them to hold the shipment and I'd get back in touch with AJ. Well good luck with that. The phone system at AJ seems to drop calls that have been on hold for 20 minutes, that happened at least three times. I had to make many calls to get in touch with them, more calls when I never got the promised callback, but finally I did get a human. She did go back and listen to the sales call and upon my reaching out to her again, I was told that yes, they in fact did promise inside delivery and she'd get it taken care of. That was the last contact I had with them. The freight carrier reached out the following week, said they would deliver inside, asked if they could deliver on Friday, to which I said yes. They showed up, two guys and a small hand cart...wth? They proceeded to drag, shove, slide, and tip over the refrigerator to get it inside. Does it work? No clue, I'm not able to power it up yet. Would I ever under any circumstances purchase from AJ Madison again? Oh heck no. And before anyone thinks I blame the freight company, I don't, those two guys had absolutely no clue what they were in for and they worked their ass off. I feel bad for them.

No matter how many times i tell them the delivery is to an 8-4pm business address, they always give me stupid delivery windows like 7-11pm. Then I call to reschedule, wait on hold 10-20 minutes only to be “disconnected” every single time. Once i finally get through to an actual representative, they reschedule the delivery, usually a week or more out, if they can even give me a date when I call…

United States | 21 April 2022Purchased $4500+ Miele washer dryer set with stacking drawer. Never sent drawer, $249. Wouldn't respond in email or by phone. Set worthless without stacking drawer. Then when I waited through their purposeful labyrinth of phone service, they were "back ordered". Probably back ordered when I ordered originally. I will stop card payment, they can come pick them up. Plan B. This company SUCKS!

Water isn't flowing and ice isn't being made; a clear installation issue I call AJ Madison and first get transferred to three different people. Then, 30 minutes later, a representative says they can have a GE technician come out three days later. Ummm, I just purchased a brand new, expensive refrigerator; my old refrigerator didn't have these issues ... classic installation problem Despite asking for someone to come out and review the installation job earlier than 3 days from now, the representative refuses. I ask them to take back the refrigerator and provide a refund, they refuse So they'll deliver a product, perform a faulty installation job that leaves you without filtered water or ice for three days, and refuse to do anything about it themselves Cool

United States | 25 March 2022Appliances bought Oct 25th 2021 with a promise that one item was in stock and would be delivered in 2 weeks, second item 4-6 weeks. AJ Madison order tracking website showed delivery between December 26-28th. After multiple unanswered emails, voice messages and customer service calls with waiting times upwards of 45 min each and relentless insistence from my part, delivery got set up for March 24th 2022 (5 months after order placed). Truck gets to the house and driver says that he did not know it was a residence delivery and he did not have anybody with him, no dolly and truck did not have a tail lift therefore he could not delivered one of the items that was too heavy. Sales associate that sold products contacted while truck driver at the house and his answer was “ We piggybacked your delivery with a builder’s job, can your people on site take care of these? They are very small items.” Meaning: items were sold and paid for, now is customer’s problem. Luckily neighbors landscaping workers were kind enough to donate their time to AJ Madison and helped to move the item from the truck. Unfortunately I choose not to trust the multiple poor reviews I read for this company and got punished for my stupidity. For your sake trust this review, after all you took the time to read it and if you trusted the company enough you would not have searched for other people’s experience.

United States | 10 March 2022Ordered 4 Bosch appliances on June 24, 2021 for a kitchen renovation. Received a call from a sales rep who convinced me to switch to "in stock" options, a Lieber fridge and a larger Bosch cooktop than I needed. He told me he would "borrow" a dishwasher from another order to assure I received it. I received the substitute "in stock" appliances with no issue. Then things went south. I understand there are supply chain issues; however, I continued to receive marketing promo emails encouraging me to order one of the remaining items right away because they were "in stock and ready to ship". When I inquired about the status of my order with customer service, I was told that I "just missed" my allocation and I was [second, third, or fourth] in line for the next shipment. Then I'd get another email promoting the item I'd ordered. I'd forward the promotional email to customer service with my order number asking why they are promoting these items. The replies typically read, "hopefully you'll get yours in the next allocation." This is a BAIT & SWITCH SCAM. Over 8 months later, I finally send emails suggesting the BAIT & SWITCH SCAM and I receive an email saying my wall oven (advertised as "in stock and ready to ship") will ship and I'll receive a call in 2 business days to schedule delivery. My credit card is charged and I receive no call. I email customer service to inquire when my oven will ship and I'm informed the unit allocated to me was "damaged" so my shipment was "cancelled" and I'll receive an oven in the next allocation. No refund to my credit card. I go to the AJ Madison website and use "live chat" to ask a sales agent if I order today, when might I expect to receive the wall oven and dishwasher. He says up to three months. I ask if it could ever take up to six. He responds, "possibly, but very unlikely." I ask why I ordered these items over 8 months ago and haven't received them yet. He gives me the email and phone for customer service and disconnects the chat. I take screenshots and send these to AJ Madison. They suggest I buy a lesser quality Bosch dishwasher because a shipment is arriving soon. I decline. I call another appliance company who tells me exactly where my place in line will be if I order the items from them. Ultimately, I cancelled my order for the remaining items and requested refund for "damaged" oven that was allocated to me and never shipped. I ordered from a competitor.

Their products are fine but the warranty they sell through new leaf is horrible, hardly speak English and their service is terrible. They act like they don't want to help you. You are better off spending extra and buying a factory warranty. Shame on them for offering such crap

United States | 25 February 2022At AJ Madison's request I submitted the review below related to a microwave oven purchase. They declined to post the review, based on policy. Apparently, honesty isn't part of that policy. Great Oven, Installation NOT Included This will be my third Advantium, and am extremely pleased with the oven's features and performance. AJ Madison has been great to deal with, but the installation company they contracted is a disaster. The installation company was a no-show on delivery day. The drivers indicated the installers would perform the installation the next day they were scheduled to be in the area. That day came and passed with no contact from the installer, and no word from them since. To be fair, AJ Madison did promptly refund the installation fee. I'd like to give a better review but after a month or so, the Advantium is still sitting on the garage floor. I'm pushing 70 years and not capable of lifting the approximately 100 lb. oven in place by myself. Want to make it clear the issue is with A J Madison's installation contractor, AM Transportation and Logistics, not A J Madison themselves. AM Transportation and Logistics did finally make it by today, nearly two months since delivery and attempted to charge an additional fee. Microwave still not installed.

United States | 12 February 2022I purchased an appliance package through this company. a couple of the appliances, delivery and payment interactions were fine. However - The refrigerator was delivered with several dents on the doors. Some very obvious, other dents less obvious. The merchant offered to replace one of the 3 damaged doors OR for me to get a 15% discount on the price I had paid for my brand new refrigerator. I informed them that this was not acceptable. That I had ordered and paid for a new appliance - in New condition. They advised the dents didn't affect the unit's functions. I asked for 1 of 3 acceptable remedies. 1: completely replace the refrigerator. 2: Replace all 3 damaged doors. 3: Refund 50% of the purchase price - because I never would have purchased a damaged refrigerator. They offered to replace the 1 door 2 more times. Then they stopped responding to emails, web messages and phone calls regarding this. It is now several months later and I am disputing the charges with my credit card company. No one deserves this type of frustration and treatment from a company. I give 2 stars because of the acceptable transactions - but I would caution anyone considering to do business with this company. Expect to be screwed.

United States | 08 February 2022Bought a range, including service to install and take away old range. The stove was damaged, size was not as advertised (larger than stated on site). Service took out old stove and Left the new one in the middle of the kitchen for me to deal with. They took picture of the damage, said they would send to AJ Madision, and instructed me get a contractor to make the hole in the countertop bigger to install, and to contact AJ Madison for a refund. I did as instructed paying a contractor to install. However when I called for an adjustment, the most they would offer was $100, on a $1400 range if I would dis-install and take a picture of the serial number on the back of the stove. Would not recommend buying from these guys under any circumstances.

Extremely long hold times on the phone, non responsive to emails. I filed a CC claims so we’ll see if that makes a difference. Terrible customer service. Don’t do business with them!

United States | 03 February 2022They are totally unresponsive to repeat requests concerning my order. They did not return phone messages. When I did speak to a rep , they never followed up on my inquiry. They kept saying my item has shipped, and yet one month later UPS said they never received it. I filed a complaint with my credit card company and they tried to charge me a 30% return fee for an item they never even shipped. Do not, I repeat do not ever shop with these people it has been six weeks of nonsense dealing with them

United States | 20 January 2022They suck. No communication, delivery set up , I was informed during delivery they could not install my dishwasher. I had to call a third company but they would not install due to my location. Only option was to find a new installer or send it back. No suggestions on a new installer. Three weeks after my order was entered, really? The worst part …dishwasher was defective. I was told you have to call the manufacturer to fix. I still do not have a working dishwasher, except my wife and she is not happy. I have been on hold for and hour and they just disconnected me. Poor customer service… buy local Did I mention their delivery service ran his truck over my yard and left huge ruts in my grass. Do not buy appliances from AJ Madison Uodate: it’s been 2 weeks no solutions yet. Arrogant customer service person said there is nothing more they can do. They cannot replace because they don’t have a warehouse. What????

United States | 15 January 2022I received a high-end gas cooktop that was damaged in December 2021. I notified AJ Madison of the issue on 12/23. I received a reply on 12/26, offering a discount to keep the item, which I declined. On 12/27 AJ Madison advised me they were seeking a Return Authorization number from the manufacturer. I emailed AJ Madison on 01/11 asking the status of obtaining the RA. They have been completely unresponsive since 12/27, which is ridiculous. I will be initiating a credit card dispute.

United States | 08 January 2022I originally ordered a Cafe range from another online site, however it arrived damaged so it was sent back and a replacement was no longer in stock from them. Unfortunately this range is usually back ordered by a month or more. After seeing it listed as in stock at AJ Madison I immediately called and spoke to a helpful representative named Dave who took my order over the phone to be sure my order was placed while this stove was still available. When I received my shipping notification from AMHome Delivery it noted that the delivery could be as late as 10:30 pm. I called AJ Madison again to see if they could arrange for a daytime slot. This time I spoke to a representative named Jay who was very understanding and professional. He assured me he would try to put in my request to the shipping company. Happily, it arrived undamaged a couple of days later at a convenient time of day. Jay even followed up with an email letting me know that I could reach out to him if I had any further issues with my order. Would order from AJ Madison again.

United States | 07 January 2022I ordered a mini fridge on Nov 12th and the AJ Madison tracking system said it was shipped on the 15th. Their tracking system showed it never left the warehouse. I received an email on the 25th asking me why I returned the product. So I emailed them and showed them their mistake. They reissued the order on Nov 26. They tell me it will arrive the 20-22nd of Dec. I get a notice It arrives in the area on the 10th and I proactively call and request a delivery on or before the 15th as I’m leaving town. AM home delivery (owned by AJ Madison) scheduled it for the 16th when I’ve already told them I'm out of town. I call to tell them again I need it before that, to which they say they can’t deliver it and want to charge me a hold fee to deliver it after I return. I tell them I shouldn’t have to pay it and am told they will check with a manager and get back to me. I hear nothing back. I return early from my trip and call to get my delivery on the 27th. I’m told they only hold for free for two weeks. Two weeks from the 16th would be the 30th so I’m still within the window but am told I still need to pay the hold fee. I contact AJ Madison customer service who then tells me the two weeks started on the 8th when they shipped it and I need to pay the hold fee. So to sum it up AJ Madison (and their shipping company) failed to deliver originally as promised and charged me a delayed delivery charged. The hold fee was only $50 but it was the principle of the matter. They say they have a customer service promise - clearly not customer friendly. They are just slinging appliances and you can find the same price with better service elsewhere. Just say NO!
