The delivery by Jon & Stephen from the Middlesbrough branch was exemplary. They came during the advised time slot and called ahead to give us a half hour window. They then brought in a large amount of furniture, and put it together. They were very personable and professional throughout.

Luke and Ady delivered my table today, contacted me before arriving with the time they would be here. Built up the table removed all mess and gave detailed instructions on how to extend and retract the table. Really happy with the service they provided

Michael H and Jamie S delivered our new sideboard today. There is an awkward turn at my front door, but they managed to place the furniture where it was with ease. Very professional and friendly service - I would happily recommend Barker and Stonehouse for furniture!

Delivery team, Dave A and Colin R from Middlesbrough were brilliant. Phoned to let me know they were on their way. They were really tidy when they were here and as some bolts were missing, quickly reported the issue for me. Even gave care advice for my furniture! Thanks so much

John & Jason K (Blaydon) brightened my day with their friendliness and were so respectful of my home. They built the furniture in their van to avoid any mess, carried it carefully and placed it all exactly where it needed to go, and wore shoe covers without being prompted. The service from Maddie M at Fenwick Newcastle was similarly brilliant (even if we did get a little sidetracked talking about Sabrina Carpenter instead of sofas). Helen, who called me to arrange delivery, was also very kind and helpful. If I could find one area of improvement, I would suggest that you review the proposition of “online exclusive” large furniture items; I really need to be able to see them before I order them. It just seems wasteful to both of us for me to order something as large as a sofa or dining table and then have to arrange for it to be returned because it’s unsuitable, and it goes against your otherwise fantastic proposition of in-person experiences which are sadly becoming more difficult to find when it comes to shopping.

Ady & Dom were fantastic. One of them, not sure which checked where the furniture needed to go and then both of them carefully handled it up the stairs to exactly where we needed it.

Thanks to John and Jason K for their great customer service when delivering and setting up our dinner table. Prompt communications, patience with a very busy delivery area and took care with protecting our flooring and wearing shoe covers without being asked.

We went in to look at sofas a couple of weeks ago and spoke to Fatma who was very knowledgeable and helpful we returned on Sunday to purchase the sofa. Fatma gave us ideas on colours, sizes etc…. She went above and beyond and was so kind. Thank you for all your help. We are looking forward to received our new sofa
