United Kingdom | 24 February 2021AWFUL company! Cancelled twice for dishwasher repair, took 2 weeks to get the engineer and then he was useless and didn’t know what was wrong! I so wish I knew about the awful warranty company sold with Marks Elecrical. I will never buy from them again. Now going to just buy a new dishwasher, can’t wait any longer. So angry!!

Absolutely useless at giving me any relevant or helpful information in regards to a replacement fridge/freezer which was logged faulty 3 weeks ago!!! I still have no idea when I will receive a new one, I've been in tears over this and so frustrated. I offered to pay next day delivery to get my replacement faster and still they are telling me they have to process this to the replacement team. I've been left on hold for 20 mins at a time leaving me no choice but to hang up. I honestly can't believe the shocking service of this company. If anyone has any contact details of someone I can complain further to I'd be truly grateful

United Kingdom | 03 February 2021Disgusted after waiting since last year to have my Tumble dryer door to be fixed didn’t moan as due to covid understand that due to logistics it been difficult to obtain the part didn’t harass them just went with it as I work NHS more on my mind Contacted due guess what apparently out of warranty although the date of my delivery didn’t add up to 12 months First person I spoke seemed to take great pleasure in telling me Would I really have a tumble dryer that I can’t use This company has shown to let me down bigtime especially when I was so understanding of covid situation I am disappointed disgusted it’s be left like this Given the fact I actually thought covid situation was more important than my tumble dryer

United Kingdom | 02 February 2021Awful company - avoid at all costs! I purchased an oven through applicances direct and received a 3 year warranty. The last year of the warranty was through U.K warranty. The oven has developed a fault and I’ve tried to contact U.K warranty over 10+ times by phone and numerous emails but they haven’t picked up the phone at all or replied to any emails. Awful service and I wouldn’t go anywhere near the company.

United Kingdom | 08 January 2021Never ever again! Avoid, they are beyond dismal. Sadly, not our first experience with them, all were awful, but this one takes the biscuit. Our hob developed a fault in early December, spent a long time on the phone reporting it, because the girl on the other end, while pleasant, was clueless. The next day had a missed call from a number, called it back, and after some toing and froing, was informed that after reviewing the description of the fault, they will be replacing it, and someone will be in touch. Nothing happened for a week, eventually got a text that a visit has been booked for a few days before Christmas, so called them, explaining that must be a misunderstanding, as we were told it would be replaced - but apparently no record of that on the file!! Anyway, the engineer turned up a few days before Christmas, had a look, decided a part was needed, and it would take only a few days for him to come back with it. Couldn't confirm if hob was safe to use in the meantime, so we had to be very creative with cooking Christmas dinner, because - you guessed it - nothing happened. No communication after Christmas, and no communication after New Year (we tried the engineer's mobile, no luck). We called them again this week, only to be told that the part cost is too high, so it will be a full replacement after all, and we will be getting a phone call/text with the details. Several days, and several phone calls later, still haven't heard anything back. They are rude, you spend ages trying to get through, we were redirected to several different depts by mistake (automatically), there are simply no polite words to describe how bad they are. Also, a strong suspicion that Apelson, Appliances Direct and UK Warranty are somehow connected,because when we had phone calls redirected they went to various departments of all 3 companies (while calling initially the same phone number...). We will be telling everybody we know to avoid ALL.

United Kingdom | 06 January 2021My 3 year extended warranty on my Oven and Hob has now expired. I received an email from UK warranty offering me an extended annual warranty. I had not had to contact UK Warranty in the 3 years. I contacted UK Warranty asked for quote, which I was given. I requested that she sent me an email with details of the quote. She. Said she was unable to do this, I requested again, she said she would send me an email. The email; never arrived I wrote to UK Warranty and they got Dylan to contact me, who was very helpful and he gave me his direct phone number. I then phoned the Office again and requested the quote be sent to me. I placed an order and this was actioned very quickly and I now have extended warranty for 12 months. I will be watching how UK Warranty deal with me over the next 12 Months

United Kingdom | 30 December 2020The worst company ever Monday 14th December 2020 my oven glass inside exploded i rang uk warranty to report this they inform me I dont have insurance on my oven I have 2 insurances for my hob which I replied why the hell would I do that I was informed they would look into it and ring me back guess what I had to ring them back as they didn't get back to me. They then said yes my oven was covered they would send out a technician 23rd December with the part for the oven which they assured me would be sorted for Christmas. The 21st of December the technician rang me to confirm the part needed and would be with me 23rd December. On the day he turns up and said to my husband you are going to hate me I don't have the part which he then looked at my oven to see the model and make surely me paying insurance for this they would have known he then went on to amazon to order the part which he said he would get by the 30th December since then I have had 2 more messages saying it won't be til the 8th January then another today saying 15th January funny my husband went on a website and the part could be delivered the next day 24th December please please do not insure with this company for anything even the receptionist was no help whatsoever they just fob you off big lesson learnt.

If I don't get a successful response to this review I will be taking this further for breach of contract. I have also contacted Martin Lewis to see if he has experience of this company. My experience is: The phones aren't answered or you get asked to wait and can wait for over an hour and still have no response. You can leave a voice mail but nobody has ever contacted me, even though it says all calls are recorded. I have emailed numerous times and there is no response. I wrote a review in response to an invite on their initial email from Kate Summers which went under a company called 008 repairs. Somebody responded and said she would help, but after emailing there was no response. So on the off chance that this company would like to redeem themselves, here are the details. United Kingdom | 15 December 2020I was sold their extended warranty when I bought a fridge freezer from Marks Electrical. 3 months later I am still waiting for the warranty documents. I have phoned and emailed UK Warranty but to no avail. So it appears that I've paid them for nothing, which seems to be the consensus of the vast majority of UK Warranty customers. Since I could not get any response from them I asked Marks Electrical for a refund, this they did.
