We bought a washing machine just over 12 months ago. We initially signed up and then the following day I rang to cancel it and they said all was fine. Today I have noticed that they have taken 2 payments for 4.99 from my account for Nov and Dec???

Rubbish...called them Thursday reg my washer/drier they informed me Hoover would be in touch within 24/48 hrs..I've called Hoover this morning and UK warranty haven't even been in contact!! I shall be going elsewhere for my extended cover in the future as this company are worse than useless!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY After being passed from pillar to post and leaving 4 messages over 6 days ago still no response from this company. Save your money and if you need an engineer get a local person/ company to fix your appliance.

Absolute disgrace of a company says booked engineer but hasn't 3rd day now trying to chase up and just keep putting me through to hoover who say no engineer booked . Do not waste your money with these people.

Uk warranty took my television over 2 months ago to either fix it or get me a replacement. Attempted to contact them a lot, left voicemails and still no contact from them. Tomorrow morning I will try again but if I don't hear anything I will be contacting the financial ombudsman, this was advised by citizen advice and which. Absolutely atrocious customer service and an atrocious company. Quite happy to take my money every month.

Poor communication. In fact, no communication. When you call to report a fault their lines are always busy. They ask you to leave a message and they will call you back. Do they? NO. They have got to be the worst and,most frustrating company I have had the misfortune to have to deal with.

This is a zero star review, U.K. Warranty is as bad as everyone says. Bought a Miele appliance from Marks Electrical, with extended warranty via UK Warranty. UK Warranty has genuinely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. There were rude, jobsworth and wouldn’t cover a standard repair despite being well within warranty. Avoid. And if that means avoiding Marks Electrical too, well I am going back to John Lewis. If you pay for extra warranty you expect to be covered.

Ive now been without a fridge freezer for 4 weeks and still no money, avoid this company it’s customer service is 0 they don’t reply to your complaints either, I spoke with 2 separate staff, and both said we would hear from someone with 24hrs 4 weeks on and still waiting!! Avoid at all cost.

My experience has been so different from all the other reviews for UK Warranty on this site. I bought a Hotpoint double oven from Marks Electrical that failed to heat on the fan setting after eighteen months. I 'phoned UK Warranty. The first time I was asked to leave a message and they would return the call. They did not. I 'phoned again and got through to an agent after a few minutes. She logged my case very competently and organised for a Hotpoint technician to come to us two days later. This duly happened as organised and the oven was fixed in fifteen minutes. Perhaps I have been particularly lucky but I cannot fault UK Warranty apart from not retuning my first call.

My dishwasher was only 6 month old and thirteen weeks on I'm still waiting on a replacement. Over 20 calls to UKWarranty , 17 Live Chats, and 9 emails to Appliance direct and I am just being promised daily a manager will call..... No call. A simple repair forgotten about, parts left in my house for three weeks. Utter disgrace! Wrong parts ordered and forgotten about. Warranty UK state its Appliance Direct that's not shipping the replacement and Appliance Direct state its nothing to do with them? I've also had to pay joiners to remove kick plates etc and replace them, so would've been cheaper replacing the dishwasher myself. Trading Standards are now Involved sadly. Three months of my life spend chasing this daily! 2020 has been hard enough without this terrible company not doing their job! As others have said, calls cut off etc.

Claimed under the warranty nearly a month ago. They put the job out to 0800 Repair. They have been out twice, the last time with the wrong parts, and I could not get in touch with them to arrange a new date to attend. Tried to ring Warranty people but they just cut off the phone after a few minutes. So frustrating. I think in future I will avoid warranties and employ someone to do the work when things go wrong.

I have warranty for my American fridge freezer. I reported issue in June. It is September now, still not resolved. Staff are not helpful on the phone. I had one who put the phone down.

Purchased a washing machine from appliances direct, smoke came billowing out on first use, told to contact UK warranty and I never heard back from them. Not sure what you do when a company does return your emails or calls.

It’s 0 star, really... Bought a dishwasher from Appliances Direct that stopped working after 12 days! Engineer came and found 3 problems, advised for replacement... UK Warranty won’t give me an “Uplift Number” saying Appliances Direct has to agree. But A D keeps asking for that number... 🤷🏻‍♀️ Why is it for the customer to deal with that?! Can’t they communicate between themselves and replace or refund the dishwasher?! It’s been 2 weeks trying to get someone to answer the phone; their reply email always promising they’ll contact you after 5 days...

If I could no stars I would. I had no idea I had taken out a warranty on my tumblr dryer until I received their email, I called the same day to ask what it was for and to cancel. Next thing I know they have still taken my direct debit, I called again for a refund. A week later still not received a refund, called again to be told that when I cancelled was after the cut off date, considering I had no idea I had the policy don’t see how I could have requested before. Every time I have contacted them I get told different information, terrible customer service. I have even emailed their Managing Director and received a reply from a sales manager. Sums them up really, do not use this company, I am surprise Appliances Direct have any association with them.

Terrible company & customer service, gives false hopes, and when it comes down to the crunch they come out with further excuses that they will need to contact the retailer where the goods have been purchased from? this should have been done without me calling. Total shambles. I can assume how great this company is with all the RED stars rating from other members/customers. You guys need to sort your company standards before you upset further innocent customers.

Incompetent Lying and useless at repairs Bad experience with repair of Bosch dryer - ongoing since 6th June in spite of 2 engineer visits Lied that i was informed to get my machine on floor from stacked position I told engineer that i never received any communication from the company Eventually canceled the contract as cannot deal with a lying company

What a joke ?a man turns up at my door with a big brown box i was expecting a service engineer to jump out as this was the second time trying to get my repair done but he wasn't in the box i was to put my machine in the box.I THINK .littlewoods don't tell you who the cover is with when you take out extra cover.now I no how money,money,money they should be ashamed.

Hi awful service at UK warranty I reported my oven nearly a month ago now as it needs repair the engineer came out and said he couldn't get the part I needed so I would have to wait for a call within 48 hours heard nothing so called them myself and they said you will get a new oven but need to wait for them to call again to see which oven I want this was last Wednesday I finally heard this morning by text which oven I have a choice of so I rang to confirm and told I had to wait for them to arrange a delivery date Just seems alot of waiting around and annoying when desperate for a new oven had a call today Monday 22nd June to say the oven will be delivered on 6th of July but they can't fit it in so now have to pay extra to have the oven put in an so angry

super rude and rubbish service. avoid avoid and avoid. the engineering came in 3 times during more than 1 month's time and the dishwasher has not been repaired. and they refuse to provide an uplift number to Currys so I can get an exchange. they say if the engineering thinks it is repairable, he will come in, again and again, to repair it, no matter how long would it take. so I guess I will be seeing the engineering every week for the next 10 years or so. how ridiculous, can you convince yourself when you speak out those words?
