I was researching how much of a home I could afford. I had talked to an agent and informed her MANY times that I just wanted to know what I could afford. She was extremely pushy on buying or looking at homes, talking with lenders, sent me to another agent. I had to explain to him I’m just getting numbers I have no interest or money to buy currently he understood. She called me frequently too to ask if I had any savings for a closing cost. So I just kept repeating to her I’m wasting your time so I can get numbers. I don’t want a home. Was not a pleasant experience at all. When I am ready I will not be using this company by any means. She barely answered my questions and was not helpful.

Ryan King was so helpful! He walked us through the entire process and kept me informed and answered all of our questions. His entire team was great and made a situation that could have been very stressful very calm. I appreciate them so much.

When I initially started looking at mortgage companies I was absolutely inundated with phone calls from different companies. Zack at Rocket texted me, said he knew I was probably overwhelmed with phone calls and emails and let me know he was there, he was happy to help and I could communicate with him via text or anyway that worked best for me, when I was ready. I appreciated this. I did text him and that is how we mostly communicated through the entire process. I was not yet ready to move forward with a mortgage initially and then my husband had some significant health issues that put a pause on everything for months. Zack was very kind and understanding, he reached out to me to check in occasionally, which was very much appreciated, and not overwhelming. When it was finally time to move forward he worked with us to review all of our options and chose the best loan for us. He then handed us off to the rest of the team who was there to help guide me through the rest of the process and make things as fast and painless as possible. Every single person I was in contact with at Rocket throughout the loan process has been very friendly, professional and helpful. It’s been a good experience and I’m glad I chose Rocket.

The preapproval was quick and as expected. The banker was very helpful and friendly during the process. However, the banker and the review team did not work efficiently together. We are well established in our work and our credit, and what should have been a very quick and easy refinance took them seven weeks to close. There was never an issue with us giving them what they needed within minutes of their request. We have been with Quicken/Rocket Mortgage for over 20 years and refinanced and purchased with them in the past when we weren't as well established. We had lower credit, less income, and could purchase a second home from start to close over Christmas to New Year's week without a single hiccup. I wonder why the process has gotten so complicated and time-consuming. Do they not hire enough people, or are their people reviewing and not working as they should (from home offices)? The process was highly stressful for us as we had to extend our closing two times and risk losing the house for which we were getting the loan. If you want a fast loan, this is no longer the company to use. They have good bankers and, after closing, customer service. The customer website is easy to use.

They helped in any way possible. They were really polite and any questions were answered promptly.
