When I began shopping to refinance our house I was dreading the process as we refinanced before and it not fun. My first call was to Rocket Mortgage, and I knew very early on that this was the mortgage company I wanted to do my refinance with. I spoke to Andrew the first time, and every time after. He worked with me every day and many times each day. He knew what I needed to do and literally guided me through every single step. He gave me many task to do, to gather everything we needed. They weren’t always easy to do, sometimes my own information was not readily available to myself. He educated me on what I needed and why and the processes I needed to go through to get it all. A couple of times that didnt work but he was not one to give up and we would have to do something different. He spoke to me many times in a day, sometimes I was so frustrated at the lack of support in getting my own information that I was ready to give up. Andrew never got frustrated, never sounded discouraged and never made me feel like I was a pain in the neck. He was ALWAYS very calm, very professional and extremely knowledgeable about every detail of this process. He was soft spoken and vey polite but not a “stiff” person. He made our process as easy as it could have been. He was also very diligent in his follow up calls to me, the one time (out of so many calls to me) that he could not keep his scheduled call he had his Supervisor call me instead as he was not able to leave a call with another client. I have worked in customer service positions for many years, the past few years I have been on the receiving end of the worst customer services experiences. Not everyone is in that field should be there. The best people in this field are not trained to be helpful, or understanding or just be a kind human. These are things that you have or you dont and this is not something you can learn to do on the job. You can learn how to do a job or a task but being a helpful, understanding and kind human comes from inside. Andrew has great skills to do his job successfully because he can focus on learning his profession. He doesn’t need time to learn to be a good person, his customer service skills come natural to him. He is very good at his job and I was very happy and lucky to have him in my corner. My refinance was a huge success for us, thanks to Andrew’s diligence. I give Andrew and Rocket Mortgage the best rating a customer can give.
