Had already done car rental research on our long awaited trip to Costa Rica and Kemwel has been my 'go to" company for car rental for many years, primarily Europe. Had an excellent experience this afternoon with your agent Elizabeth (got a n email saying Kemwel was offering some good rates)when I called to inquire about a 10 day rental in Costa Rica and not only was she knowledgeable and clear in her explanation of liability insurance waivers but she took the time to get my husband and myself what we wanted in an SUV rental car without breaking the bank. As a Delta Air Lines employee, I recognize and appreciate good customer service. Please thank Elizabeth on my behalf as she deserves recognition for her patience and if she didn't know an answer, she asked a supervisor for clarification which shows me she believes in doing what's in the customer's best interest. Excellent Booking Site. Simple, clear and easy !

Unacceptable business practices. They booked a car for me, and it was not at the correct location. Charged me $75 to cancel the rental. Also did not mention deposit was required (500 Euros). Now I am out $75 and have nothing to show for it. I showed up to nearest location and cancelled in person prior to the designated time. This was within 1 hour of booking. Customer service was no help. Would give zero stars if I could. I recommend any rental car agency but this!!!!!!!!! Renter beware!

Had good experiences with Kemwel over the past 20 years or so. Been helpful in time of need, been very supportive after the fact on occasion. A well respected and honorable company. Although a heavy internet shopper of such things, I rarely have to look further than Kemwel. I do, however, check back before my trips to see if there have been price changes, and if so, I have never had a problem with rebooking at the lower price.

Best rates online! I haven't found better rates AND terms and conditions anywhere online. Don't look any further - book Kemwel.

I spoke with four Kemwel representatives today, and Heath was easily the best at resolving the problems caused by our travel delay.

Consistently great service and lowest prices at Kemwel. Today Blake assisted me and he was professional and friendly which is what I've come to expect of all Kemwel representatives after using them for a decade. There are never any unpleasant surprises.

Kemwel has usually been great - but we had an experience in Marseille in September that is really annoying. We prepaid as usual but in Marseille they said there would be an added driver fee which we accepted and a small VAT - they said both would amount to about 40 Euros more. When I received my credit card statement I've been charged an extra $313 - for refueling the car (which we didn't choose) at $100 and the added fees - I noticed my credit card to say $250 I would not pay (I'd agreed to the extra driver fee and the other surcharge. Hertz the company through Kemwel came back with a receipt showing my signature at the bottom -with all the other fees accepted. I did not sign such a thing and now I can't find my original paperwork. I'm annoyed. However since I can'f find my paperwork I assume I will have to pay the extra which is absolutely not right - as I returned the car with a full tank of fuel and did not accept extra insurance etc. etc as my credit card covers me. Anyway, thanks for asking.

Customer Service was great, they helped a bunch in recovering charges that were not in the original contract but charged to us by Budget. Smooth takeover and handover of vehicles by Budget as well.

I have been a return Kemwel customer for several years. This trip an error was made by Kemwel (cancelling the wrong voucher) which left me delayed and unable to resolve. The new rental ended up costing me over double of the one Kemwel cancelled. I've reached out to customer service and they acknowledge the error as their fault but have not offered to compensate me.

one may type in one's credit card number with three sets of four digits with three spaces...it will not, however, accept this; why don't you just default the thing to 12 and not allow spaces...it's annoying

I’ve been using Kemwel for my car rentals in Europe for several years and I never had a problem. Everything was smooth and easy. I totally recommend it.
