But it was upsetting to see that after shopping carefully for the best-priced rental and picking Kemwel and agreeing to the contract, after all of that more than $100 dollars in additional fees were added on to the price. Even though in getting the quote I noted that the car would be picked up and dropped off in different places, I was given a final price that did not include this fee or additional taxes. This is really bad. I would urge you to be up front and honest about your fees and real costs.

United States | 08 October 2017GREGORY made a tragedy even harder for me. I rented a car for two days for $78. When I went to bring it back the day there was a note on the door that BUDGET was closed due to Hurricane Irma. I thought about leaving the keys in the box but it says in the agreement "You may not return the car at a time when we are closed. If you do, your responsibility for damage to the car will accrue until the return location reopens". I WAS NOT going to leave a car in the open while the hurricane blew through florida if I was liable. When I return the car (spotless since I found a parking garage and walked over 2 miles both ways to keep it safe), GREGORY was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL to me. It was two days late, due to the storm and was charged over $300! He makes me sick how little he cared about me especially after experiencing such an awful and scary time. This man didnt even TRY to help me out and was just very rude to me saying this was completely my fault even though he admitted I would have been liable if there was damage during the storm. He also admitted he knows there was no way I could have been driving that car in those couple days since trees where fallen everywhere but he still couldn't be bothered to help. It makes me so upset just writing this about that awful man. Lastly, budget didn't clean out the car and left two bottles under the seat. This is important because I realized at one point the floor was ABSOLUTELY covered in ants. Had to make an emergency pull over. Very scary.

Ireland | 08 October 2017Lady at Car hire reception at Hertz Desk was excellent, staff at car collection point were rude and unhelpful. Car rental offices are a long walk from terminal with very poor direction signage in airport.

Booked rental for a 4-person roadtrip and due to two passengers not being able to make it (last min schedule and visa issues prevented them from arriving on time), we deemed it was better to end the trip early at a different location. Kemwel responded immediately and offered new options as we decided on dropoff points. I did not expect such great service from a car rental company- and would l definitely use them again.

United States | 08 October 2017First, I requested picking up car at 9am on 9/24 and was told I couldn't get it until 10:30 pm on 9/24. My flight had arrived on 9/23 at 10:20 pm but I didn't want the car until the next morning. My contract said 9am on 9/24, but the representative at the Avis counter in Little Rock, Arkansas didn't budge. I called the phone number on my contract only to hear a recording saying "Call back during business hours." The Avis rep then gave me a number to call for Kemwel and it was disconnected. I was staying an hour away in Hot Springs where I was meeting someone. I ended up having to rent a car for another $65 for the day to get to Hot Springs, and then had to drive back to Little Rock for 10:30 pm only to be told I needed an international driver's license. An hour later, they worked it out. Honestly, the price was great but the fiasco wasn't worth it. Had I had to travel further that day, it would have been worse.. I wouldn't recommend Kemwel.

United States | 08 October 2017Europcar rental in Basel Switzerland worked out just fine. It was a pleasure, aside from the heavy traffic and occasional "Stau", to operate the Volkswagen Golf. Also, renting at Basel Airport turned out to be so much more convenient for us than crazy Zurich.

As a result, we were given a new contract resulting in a credit for the car rental, because there was a promotion they were running at the time. This was greatly appreciated. We made sure to pick up our car and return it when the office was open at the Zagreb Airport. Then there were no questions about damage to the car. There was an unhappy customer in line before us who had not done this. This resulted in a long wait for us, so we were given a little nicer car than we had signed up for. Again this was appreciated. All in all, the experience with Fleet Car Rental in Zagreb was a good one, and the office and field employees communicated with each other fairly well.

United States | 07 October 2017Very disapointed that we had requested a Mercedes E class wagon and when we arrived we were given a Mercedes E class sedan which was a problem because of all our luggage. We also paid more up front to get the wagon than the sedan and no effort was made to refund the difference in cost.

We have had good service in Europe in picking up the car, and the quality of the car we have received. We have been renting through Kemwel for 10 yrs.
