Even though I thought we had purchased all the insurance possible, we were advised at counter we only purchased basic insurance. Very deceiving! Bill was an extra $300.

Everything was very easy and quick. No extra fees for one-way rental made this the best deal. Very satisfied.

I reserved (and paid in advance for) a 12-passenger van. It was listed on the confirmation as a '"P" class 12-passenger van - Ford E350 or similar'. When I got to the rental desk for Avis, they told me that a "P" class car is a Jeep Wrangler, which only seats 5 people. We had to rent a second car which doubled our transportation costs and was a great inconvenience for our family trip. I recommend booking directly with the car rental companies in the future.

Cheap, efficient, very polite

I always use Kemwel brokers. No problem with them at all. HOWEVER Europcar refuse to reply to my several emails about a charge they levied on my credit card. They asked for details and I provided the same. NO REPLY FROM THEM! This is appalling service from Europcar and I DEFINITELY WILL NEVER USE THEM IN THE FUTURE.

Kemwel works great to get me good deals on car rentals with just the packages I want. And it is transparent so I can compare apples to apples. I have used them multiple times renting cars all over Europe.

The car we rented was clean and in good shape. Picking it up from the airport rental office in Cape Town was a lengthy process however. I didn't expect it to take so long. Otherwise everything went smooth. Would rent from them again.

This is the third time we've used Kemwel (twice for Open Europe leases and once for a rental), and all 3 experiences have been positive. Our most recent lease worked as well as our first lease in 2012 in that it's very seamless and easy. We highly recommend leasing, especially because insurance coverage is excellent.

Always use Kemwel when I travel overseas. Customer service is great. Last trip I was delayed overnight and a day late to pick up a rental car. Everything was adjusted while I was in line clearing customs in London.

Initial reservation and contact with Kemwel were good. Once in France, EuropCar did not seem to recognize insurance purchased by phone with Kemwel. Return location at Bordeaux train station was almost impossible to find! All personnel were courteous and helpful. Unfortunately,my husband backed into a tree in a very tight parking space. We have no idea how the full coverage we purchased will apply and are apprehensive about this. I will call Kemwel to see how the claim is progressing. Thank you. Helen Ray

I always use Kemwel for my car rental reservations. It is practical and efficient. With the all included rates (insurance, mileage etc), even if a little more expensive of the lowest rates offered elsewhere I feel safe.

The service from the individuals I spoke with were ok... But the vehicles and prices advertised appeared to be a bit of a bait and switch. I tried to hire 3 different vehicles all advertised as available at that price. When I went to book the vehicles I would be informed that those vehicles were available but not at that price. I couldn't make an instant booking... Rather I had to wait a day for a representative to get back to me to tell me 'not available', then we would go back through the list of what deals were available (that I had already spent a day researching) in the end picking a deal for 25% more than originally offered. I'm guessing they are hoping people just give up or get confused and take the more expensive deal they offer. A confusing and time wasting experience. Please just show deals definitely available... No bait and switch. You are wasting people's time.

Kemwel was absolutely pain-free! I would definitely recommend using them. I had a friend say the worst thing about going abroad was renting their car, for me, I felt it was the easiest because Kemwel helped with everything. Also, they were very reasonably priced! I had to make changes after the fact and they were so friendly. Thank you, Kemwel!
