They sent the bike out straight away. It came within 48hrs. The packaging was excellent. Great bonus gift with the bike. Full instructions and tools to straighten the bars and install the pedals. Absolutely seamless transaction between us. Brilliant.

I used the cycle to work scheme to fund the purchase of my e-bike from cycle solutions. It was a fairly simple process that went well but I was slightly let down at the end. When the bike was delivered it the box was quite damaged and the front reflector/mount was smashed. There was also reference to a rewards scheme whereas points had been added to my account to use towards other purchases but when I log in to my account it is empty.

A very smooth experience from start to finish. Even though I had problems with the delivery (my fault) Cycle Solutions were fast to act and resolve the situation. Everyone I have spoken with at Cycle Solutions has been polite and very professional. Excellent experience.

Firstly I question how ‘brand new’ my bike I received was, on point of delivery- on unboxing the bike I noted the grips were fitted the wrong way round and when turning them back I found one of the grips was severely torn akin to impact damage. Cycle Solutions did send a voucher for me to buy new grips. I also had increasing problems trying to charge the bike from day 1 which over weeks became almost impossible to charge with what seems like a faulty connection and I was unable to remove the battery from the frame to the point that the bike has been returned for repair.. I do question if the bike I purchased was previously used and returned and sold to me as new.. 3 weeks later I am still waiting for the bike to be returned. Not a happy customer experience for me to date..

the delivery did not arrive on the original provided date. on the phone the person said the bike will arrive fully assembled and ready to go, that was not the case neither. the promised voucher was not provided with the purchase. this review is written 1 week after the delivery of the bike. still no sign of the voucher.

Maybe it was bad luck, but if I could turn back time, I would choose someone else in a heartbeat. Because it's almost 8 weeks since I placed the order and haven't received it yet. I ordered the bike through the Cycle to Work scheme - a more expensive than average carbon road bike that was shown as being in stock at the moment of ordering. I actually chose this one specifically over a cheaper one because it was in stock. It was a series of excuses that amount to almost 8 weeks between the present moment, when I still have no bike. #1: The employer hadn't approved my voucher #2: The lock I ordered was out of stock (could've easily been sent out separately) #3: It's sent out for delivery but the delivery supplier was out of capacity (for 2 weeks) #4: Parcel was returned by the delivery person because the box was damaged #5: Product had to be inspected for damage #6: Out for delivery again. I give my key to a neighbour so that he can receive the courier. The courier doesn't call him, so they mark it as failed delivery. Actually the FedEx couriers apparently do not have work phones. So they are delivering a few thousand pounds product and they do not have the courtesy of giving a call. #7: The reference number left by the courier does not show in the tracking system #8: Next day delivery isn't attempted. So my neighbour stays at home for 2 days for nothing. #9: I change the day using the sender and I finally get a right tracking number, the day is confirmed and I stay at home to receive it... it never arrives. #10: As I'm writing this on Thursday, and while I was looking forward to riding out this bike on the weekend... I'm in the position to refuse Friday because I have to go the office, so I won't be in. #11: I push it to Monday and again I am changing my schedule so that I am home to wait for this parcel. ... and all this time I've exchanged dozens of emails with the retailer. This has been an unacceptable experience from start to (hopefully soon) finish. Text book bad consumer experience. For such an expensive purchase, I expected far better service. Had I gone to a specialized store, I’m certain the bike would have arrived by now with a much smoother process. I've been patient, but this is beyond frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this retailer – not even for the most basic bike.

Bike arrived well packaged. My only issue was fixing the basket to the bike which was very fiddly. I ended up take the wheel and disc brake off to get enough access.
