Worst ever company. Charged me a lot of money. Job was done poor quality. The installation supposed to be two days/12-15 hours. The guy who did the installation did 4-6 hours of work all together. The rest of the time he was on the phone, going down to his van for 20 min each time and bring one small thing and go again, smoking every 15-20 min. After 3 years flue pipes are leaking and rusty(supposed to last forever) Today I had to pay another 150 pounds to replace them. Not a good company.

End of March my boiler died and Hasslefree gave the best price for installation, firstly when they installed they only did half the job, left boiler plugged to a 3pin socket with no timer controls, after 3 weeks and me chasing timers installed but the wrong timer not compatible to my system. Tried to argue it was correct and had to get their engineer to inspect who agreed it was the wrong timer. after another few weeks the right timer arrived, electrician came to fit it.........and blew up the boiler.......had to gert Weissmann out to fix who said they shouldn't have come out as it wasn't a warranty issue, but they did the work anyway......Weissmann engineer warned me he was surprised the boiler had been fitted as it wasn't suitable to my system and the pump overrun when turning off would cause a backward pressure on the boiler that might break it!........Roll forward to September and the boiler indeed breaks.........Hasslefree offer a 'service' which will only delay and not fix the problem so I reject the boiler as unfit, hasselfree removed tho boiler mid september and as yet i have recieved no refuned despite being warned of a small claims if it wasn't done. Hasslefree have today passed the small claims court deadline without responding to the court papers so I have instructed CCJ proceedings to start against them.........WHATEVER YOU DO AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTES OR THIS COULD BE YOU NEXT!!! Update 28/10 after hasslfree's reply....it isn't any longer with their legal team......they settled as per the small claim.......and then paid me an extra payment of £325 on top, no idea what for, but I had to phone and tell them.this and then repay to them to correct thei error again.....see where this is going....

Such a bad service. This morning I have been notified that my boiler will not be fitted today. This is the third time I have been cancelled on the day. Losing out on 3 days paid work.This is utterly unacceptable. I have paid out £1300 to you on the 18th of September 2020 and one month later still no boiler, even though I have explained we have vulnerable babies in the house and are without constant heat. I expect the money to be paid back into my account today so I can now source a more reliable company and I will also be reporting this to trading standards. Please do not be conned by this company. They maybe cheap but will not come. Just to add that since I posted my review there has been 5 positive reviews in 30 minutes. This seems very suspicious and seems to be a pattern to hide the true reviews. I have reported it. Don't fall for it.

I feel very frustrated with the hassel free boiler company as had my mother here and when the company fitted the new boiler however they did not seal the old flue and nor did they did seal the new flue hence my bathroom ceiling and cupboard ceiling are leaking a lot of water onto the floor and over today tried to get their tech people to sort this out but nothing sorted all day where as they said they would resolve the issue but like talking to a brick wall

Darren Alder the senior Sales manager and his team did a very fantastic job thank you. Needed a new boiler and was given a quote, from the beginning to the end they were there advising on which one suit my house by mail, by phone. It came on time the engineer were good and professional, the job was well done within a week was like wow!. Fantastic team work am impressed and payment was made easy as well and it makes me happy. Once again thank you all appreciated.

It turned out that my original Oil Boiler had reached a point of no return and it was down to me to find an honest reliable Company to do the replacement work. I spoke to four companies and once I had spoken to Darren Alder at Hassle Free Boilers I felt I had found the right one ! The reason being that it seems now-days everything is done on-line and sending photos of the relevant areas where my boiler was to go, and the water tank etc was rather frightening to me ! I felt I should seek a local person and talk face-to-face but I couldn't have been more wrong. Darren talked to me many times throughout my decision making and made it all very easy, I chose a date that would suit me and it all went like clockwork. The boiler and parts all arrived the day before it was due to be installed as was promised and the next day the engineer who fitted the boiler arrived and just got on with the job, there were no problems at all, he did a brilliant job, I couldn't be more happy. Now the weather has turned a lot cooler I am using the radiators in the evenings and everything is superb, I needn't have worried about getting the right Company.....and what's quite amazing is that Hassle Free Boilers were the cheapest Quote !! I am a very happy customer. Pauline.

16.10.20-Hassle free boiler asked me to contact by email on the day i wrote this review, which I did. They contacted me on that day and told me they get back to me later that day, I'm still waiting. I dont know why I'm paying for this sevice as they dont keep to there promises and dont provide the services your paying for . After sales service is shocking! Still waiting a telephone call to inform me they had recieved my part which should have been in 48 hrs that was 27th September and we are now in October. As for the boiler being serviced , I signed up to a contract where they will contact me on a yearly basis to service my boiler which has not happened. It feel like I have done all the chasing. Not happy when I'm paying for a service which have not kept to what they have promised.

Happy to take money on a regular basis but no support at the first sign of a failed boiler. I have had a broken boiler since Saturday and no 'emergency call out' available until Thursday. With two children in the house I don't consider a 6 day wait very responsive. Very poor...

What a Hassle! They used to be good. Cant get through on the phone lines left holding for over an hour before I hang up with frustration. This happens every time I call, all I want is a service which I pay for monthly and is well overdue as I can NEVER get through to someone. Utterly disgusting service.

We had been dreading our old back boiler reaching the end of its life for several years. We knew that decommissioning the old boiler and installing a new Combi boiler in its place was not going to be an easy (or a cheap) task. As landlords, we also felt a great sense of responsibility for the comfort and safety of our tenants, a lovely Bulgarian family, who are very respectful and take great pride in caring for our property. When the inevitable finally happened earlier this year, we were in the midst of lockdown due to this awful Covid-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, Chris Basterfield, from HFB's sales and advisory team, went to enormous lengths to ensure that we selected precisely the right type of replacement boiler for our small mid-terraced property and assured us that our order would remain valid until such time as it was safe the our installation to take place. Additionally, Chris very considerately (and patiently) spent many hours, over several weeks, talking us through the various options available to us. In the end, so as to cause the least amount of inconvenience and disruption to our tenants (who were in occupation at the time of installation) we decided it best to install just the new Combi boiler and all existing radiators at the property - the original pipework beneath the floors, we opted not to touch. Furthermore, we were offered the option of a 12 months interest free payment plan, which was most welcome at such a financially difficult time. I could go on ... and into so much more detail about how Chris helped and advised us at each step of this entire process, but I fear that my review is already quite long enough! Suffice to say that his help was invaluable to us ... and then the 'icing on the cake' was for him to assign Nico (Nicolae) as our Gas Safe installer. Nico was an absolutely amazing engineer, who (much like Chris) showed patience and the utmost professionalism throughout this job; there was a bit of a hiccup in communication between HFB and our tenants/ourselves, which resulted in Nico not being able to commence work on the day he had expected. He was so understanding with us in the face of this 'miscommunication' (not that this error was our fault in any way) and he quickly put our minds at rest by rescheduling to start work the very next day. This was this only 'negative' in an otherwise perfect experience with HFB - who were extremely apologetic to us for their young colleague's error ... and assured us that steps had already been taken (in the form or further training) to prevent this type of 'breakdown in communication' from happening again. True to his word, Nico commenced work the very next day and furthermore completed the job within the agreed time frame. He did this by working exceptionally hard (perhaps by adding an extra hour or two each day?) so as not to disappoint or inconvenience our tenants any further. The care and standard of his work was also quite exceptional; as we saw for ourselves from the many images he kindly forwarded to us upon completion. In conclusion, my husband and I would highly recommend HFB to anyone facing a similar major Central Heating dilemma such as ours. It is our hope that you will find them to be as knowledgeable, professional, helpful and patient, as has been our experience. Thank you, Chris, Darren, Nico, Pierre and all at HFB.

I have have had to deal with this company since the death of my sister. I am currently trying to sell her home and so it is already a very stressful time. I have been trying to contact Hassle Free boilers via email and phone to obtain a final settlement statement, but have had no reply. Even my solicitor is having difficulty. Since the lack of response I have had to place the sell of the house on hold. Which is causing further financial and emotional distress at an already difficult time.

Our experience with Hassle Free Boiler was exceptional. It’s very rare these days to have a job done with absolutely no problems at all. Darren & Paul quite simply delivered their promise & provided an excellent service, from the first phone call with Darren to the installation of a new outside oil boiler, new immersion tank with linked smart thermostat by Paul the engineer / Technician. They were both incredibly professional, accurate in their knowledge, and Paul was neat in his craftsmanship as well as fully equipped with PPE to make us feel secure with having him in our home during the pandemic. I will be recommending them in the future & and would without hesitation use them again if & when the the time comes. Very pleased with whole job.

Had 2 installations from hassle free in the last 5 years and have received an on going super service and would highly recommend. Reasons for the 2 installations were my first was in my garage but a year later I converted the garage into a living area and got the boiler moved upstairs in the bathroom. 10/10 from me Richard

Irang them because our boiler had broken and could no longer be fixed. Within a week we had a new boiler sorted and installed. The guys I spoke to were helpful kind polite and professional. I could not have asked for more. I would recommend them 100%

If you want a oil boiler installed these are the people to go to i was guided through the process by Darren Alder he guided me through evey stage he is an asset to this company very professional explains everything I detail I felt very relaxed through it all Darren goes the extra mile and it was his attitude to the customer which convinced me to go with this company so pleased I did my engineer Paul Innes turned up on time very pleasant and knowledgeable did a fantastic job no mess at all and made sure I was satisfied with everything before leaving can't give this company a bigger shout out they are brilliant from start to finish G.Beaver
