Hassle free is anything but I have had an active running leak from my boiler for over 6 weeks and 5 days ago (10 Nov) the boiler totally failed. I am how ever assured that I am a high priority to get it fixed just not anytime soon. I have now moved to flexible resolution services which is the ombudsman you will need them. My home insurance are now coming to inspect the damage this has caused to my home.

I have been trying to contact Hassle free boilers to arrange a service on the boiler and also it leaking,still no contact. Customer service number direct you to email them. Once again let down with their, i have been them for nearly 8 year and in that time i had 1 service but but they are still happy to collect their monthly direct debits.

After my last review Hassle free boilers have now been and serviced the boiler. 5 stars to the engineer who serviced it! Thank you HFB for finally sorting it out.

Prompt reply and technical advice exhaustive. Replies to customer email queries are always rather prompt. The technical advice that followed was comprehensive and technician listened well and replied accordingly with through, complete advice.

What has happened to this company? I took out a contract in Dec 2014 and have been paying each month, I think I've had two or three services, they never contact you to remind you it's due. Last year I organized a service on the phone, I'm still waiting for them to turn up - now you cannot get hold of them - no response when you complete the on-line form or no reply whenever you send an email. I've now had to question what, after nearly ten years I'm actually paying for? I've now had to take a new service plan with British Gas to get a service booked, so I'm basically now paying twice. I feel like stopping the Direct Debit as I've paid enough, I've kept my side of the bargain but they fail to adhere to theirs, I'm sure they'll soon be in touch when I don't pay? Hassle free?? Really? More hassle than it's worth - take your money but disappears off the face of the earth - I wonder what trading standards may think about this??

I would't even rate this a one, but I have no choice! I have had the misfortune of signing up with this company a few years ago! I pay almost £50 per month and I'm questioning that I actually receive for this! I have had to contact HFB's twice this year and on both occasions the level of customer service, response to correspondences has been really poor! Firstly, you cannot get in touch via phone, and when you do email them, the response is delayed. I have been waiting for an engineer for almost two weeks now, and have been passed from pillar to post! I have had the occasional response to my emails from the team leader, but do not actually respond to my queries. I would not recommend anyone joining this company for a boiler or a service agreement. AVOID!!!

Since COVID they stopped answering the phone the customer service has all but disappeared but the premium stays the same!! Yay free money happy days. Richard

Boiler was installed 2019, since then we have encountered a catalogue of problems including delivery of wrong boiler, installers informing us we have brought a useless boiler (phrased using more fruitful langue) multiple DNA for appointments, and for the past 2 years have been waiting for x2 leaking radiators to be replaced. Sadly this is an issue which is ongoing and leak has subsequently ruined my oak floors. Multiple manager including current manager claim they will "resolve the issue" however then do not act or respond to emails - issue is with the ombudsman currently. I don't normally like to complain however I can not express enough steer clear!!

When I took the boiler out in 2014 the company was great first couple of years they rang me to book my service then as the years went by they stopped and a services got fewer and fewer and now I can't even get a service from them keep getting told someone will be in touch I'm still waiting 5 week on for someone to contact me but they still want payment from me for a service. it's in the terms and conditions of the contract we signed together when I took the boiler out with them their costumer service seems to be getting worse and worse can't even ring them now everything is online it stupid

Absolutely disgusted by this company, boiler has been serviced once in the last 6 years, and today have taken 3 payments out of my bank when only legally authorized to take 1, cant even contact them any more, go on there website to request contact and nothing then today cant even get on there website, my solicitor will have a field day with these clowns. !!!

Engineer Justin & team 'Amazing'

I have a boiler through HFB and I am covered by one of their plans. Initially my issue was assigned to another engineer who messed me around and never ones crossed my doorstep.

 From meeting Justin I knew I trusted him, in fact I have allowed him and his team into my house without me being there and they have installed me a new boiler. 

If you are in the North East ask HFB if you can have Justin as your engineer, you won't regret it and your boiler will be fixed in no time.

 Hassle free boilers themselves have an amazing customer service team but their decision makers need to improve their response time scales as this has caused me to be with our hot water for over a month.

After all the problems with this company, I finally thought I was going to have my boiler serviced on 14th August. I booked the day off work as they couldn't confirm a time, where they didn't turn up or even have the courtesy contact me! I was told "the further issue which occurred is not related to the previous" and that basically I should expect these things to happen. I then hesitantly book more time off work yesterday, when they ACTUALLY turned up! Shocking customer services with no recompense! I do not recommend this company.

Hasslefree Boilers fail for 4 years. I signed a contract for an oil boiler plus all servicing and repairs in June 2019. The engineer failed to install and contacted Grant manufacturers to carry out the installation I then received a letter stating there was a charge against my house, registered with the Land Registry. I was never notified this would happen In March 2023, HFB arranged for annual servicing by Eco heat. They arrived with only 20 minutes prior notice by phone, at 8.30am Eco heat failed to remove the front oil boiler panel and left. HFB gave permission from Tyrone Spencer to use a local oil engineer, who serviced and carried out a repair. HFB informed me that I would be reimbursed,on August 4th if I paid the bill using my credit card. I paid £427 on July 18th. I have not been reimbursed and do not have a date when this will happen. Hasslefree boilers have therefore broken the terms of the contract which states my payments cover the boiler and all servicing and repairs.
