Firstly we are tied into a 12 year contract that is tied to the property deeds that cost thousands to get out of and you pay for the boiler multiple times over. You have to try and phone every year for a service as they don't contact you to book in and the phone just rings and rings. I have managed to book three services in 8 years. £55 a month for the last 8 years £5280 pound for a boiler install and 3 services!!!! The last service we had earlier this year the engineer found multiple problems and components needed replacing. I have tried several times again today to call and been on the phone for an hour with no response. It now looks like their website is down so I can't contact that way either. We now have no hot water and heating and the boiler still has components that need replacing and we are tied into a contract. If I call in another company we are probably breaking terms of contract where do I go!!! Paul Tinkler Birchington Kent

Disgusting customer service and when you call you don’t get through to anyone. Finally after many emails and phone calls an engineer has been booked. Jacob was very helpful in sorting this out for us. And boiler has now been passed off.

United Kingdom | 17 July 2023I have been a loyal customer for over 11 years now with Hassle Free Boilers . Other than occasional difficulties trying to get through to their Customer Care Team re a Boiler Issue, I would say everything else was fine . However all of this was about to change approximately 4 weeks ago , when I opened a Letter from the Company which in itself was unusual as according to my Memory this was the First of its kind, Right away my eye was caught with a Monetary Sum of almost £2000, 00 supposed arrears on my account, which I had to read several times before it sunk in . There was no explanation, or Breakdown of this Bill in evidence of the charges incurred, or a Timeline for same. Not was I given the option of setting up a repayment plan to make good any deficits on my Account I was also informed that I had 7 days grace before a payment in full deadline. I have dealt with all manner of service providers overtime and can honestly say that never before have I been treated in such a hard headed and zealous way. Normal procedure suggests that the Customer in the event of default, is notified of same by the company, and given time to put things right, none of which was afforded to me . All of this has impacted badly on my Mental State aggravating my Bi Polar condition which is now on a down ward spiral. In addition and during a time of Hardship for a lot of people struggling to make ends meet , would push us into a precarious state of financial hardship . On top of everything else we have recently learned that my Wife of over 25 years has been diagnosed with Huntingdons Chorea. Placing me in a situation of Named Carer, shouldering all of the responsibility and pressure that comes with the role.

We had a new boiler installed they checked and flushed all the radiators and every year serviced and looked after our central heating . Money well spent and peace of mind that we have the best care , would recommend to anyone

I'm not sure what to do as I have an urgent issue with my heating system that needs to be solved asap, but i can't get hold of anyone. Update : HFB got in touch..promised an engineer would call, and still nothing!!!

United Kingdom | 16 June 2023I had my boiler installed 7 years ago and it was the worst mistake I have ever made. It has been nothing but Hassle. This is possibly the most misleading company name ever. Every year the service has taken weeks if not months to arrange despite many phone calls and emails. the excuses have ranged from them being too busy to not having engineers available in my area. I have had to call them out for breakdowns and even though I am on the priority services register as I have 4 children, 3 of whom are disabled and I am a full time carer I have been left without heating and hot water for over a week in the winter at one point. This year they have taken it to the absolute extreme. It has taken 7 months to get them to come and do the annual service and I have been ringing and emailing them regularly to get this to happen. I am now over a year behind on my servicing plan, they still have not fixed the condensate pipe that I have been waiting for to be sorted for over two years and they have been promising to sort my radiators as well for the last two services and therefore they are breaking the rules of their own contract. I have no idea what I am even paying for at this point. One of the most shocking companies I have ever worked with. In response to your reply Jacob. I have been in contact with your customer services department many, many times about the problems as I stated in my original review and have made no progress at all. If you would like to handle this yourself then I would be more than happy for you to do so. regards Rebecca Oxide

United Kingdom | 12 June 2023I had my boiler system installed by this company about 6 years ago It's one of those pay monthly things and you are supposed to get a yearly service included in the price However in the last 2 years since covid we had to constantly hassle them for a date to get this service done and they messed up On the date so no one came meaning more phone calls and hassle ! The guy that eventually came to do the service was lovely I believe they use an outside company called eco heat so I can't fault them at all ! However the pump for the boiler failed about 5 weeks ago and as it was a weekend we had no heating or hot water so we called the number and left a message no one bothered to call us back so we had to pay for a plumber to come as an emergency and pay him ourselves We got a receipt and contacted the company to see if they would refund us as they hadn't helped with the emergency which they are supposed to do ! We had to send numerous emails to them before they finally agreed to reimburse us Even after that we had to keep sending emails as they agreed to pay us on a certain date but payment wasn't made into my account We finally got the payment today after sending lots of emails This isn't a company I would reccomend as although the original installation was OK there is little or no customer service or support when needed ! Was going to reccomend to a friend but after this I won't be doing so ..

United Kingdom | 06 June 2023Be very wary about entering into a contract with this company. I had a 10 year contract which I terminated 3 years early, because I moved house. You will find yourself being charged a huge fee to get out of the contract, due to them putting restrictive a convenant on your property (without your knowledge) and a massive adminstration fee. In my case this was £900 plus arears of contract.Their customer service is also poor and unreliable. Do not get your boiler maintenance contract via this company.
