Good quality logs delivered on time

This is the second time I have ordered from uk logs direct, what I like about them is they pack the logs so compact on the crate that you actually get the full crate full of logs, not like some other companies. I will be ordering again next year. Delivery was on the day I specified too with no complaints. Keep up the great work guys.

My first time ordering from UKLogsDirect, and whilst I haven't burnt the logs yet, I'm pretty impressed. Ordering was very easy, delivery was excellent, on time, and all as promised. The logs are bone dry, and a good size. The only SLIGHT negative was that the Ash nets are advertised as 8-9kg, but were actually 7kg. Oak nets were spot on at 9kg. These are 22l nets, and are easy to carry and store. An excellent product, and reasonably priced.

Tightly packed, well packaged, and especially important - dry. Delivered on time, crate placed exactly where we asked it to be. Price point very competitive.

The logs are great. The crate is definitely one of the best regarding size vs. price. I just hope that one day, all companies stop using warehouse pallet trucks to deliver to homes, which only work on smooth surfaces, and invest in all-terrain pallet trucks that can go over roadside low curbs and driveway entrances more than 1cm high! hence 3 star. A full family effort was made to take dozens of trips with a single wheelbarrow from the curbside to the back of the house because warehouse pallet trucks are not the right equipment for the job.

The logs were good once they arrived! I chased the delivery company at midday on the delivery day as advised on the logs direct website. Was told delivery would be between 3-5 but the logs never arrived and no courtesy call was received. Chased again in the morning and was told delivery would be 12-2. They finally arrived at 5.15. This for me let the supplier down as I had to arrange for someone to be there the following day and i also incurred a further day of parking costs to keep the driveway clear. This has not happened when ordering from different suppliers in the past who also offer free delivery.

I would recommend this company as the whole online sales process was very straightforward. The delivery was great and the delivery driver was very helpful and managed to deliver the logs right into our garage. This meant it was easy to stack in our log store and kept the logs dry. This is the first time we have used this company but will certainly be ordering from them again.
