We received the keys to our first property on Wednesday (16th Dec) just in time for Christmas and couldn't have asked for a better Solicitor than Katie Burns. First class service was provided from start to finish and the whole process took about 6-7 weeks. Katie made everything very easy and straight forward for our side of things in terms of filling in forms and sending through documentation. Whenever we had any questions (we had many) she was right at the end of the phone or an email away. If she ever missed a call you could guarantee a call back within the hour. Katie kept us informed with all updates and progress as well as chasing up the sellers solicitor on many occasions in order to push things through for us as she knew we wanted to be in before Christmas. I had heard many negative things regarding Solicitors and their part in the house purchasing process before we started the journey ourselves. However, I can honestly say that Katie completely changed our perception of this! Katie is not only professional and knowledgeable, but she is also extremely friendly and approachable and I wouldn't hesitate to contact her in the future or recommend her to friends and family. My experience with McEwan Fraser Legal was excellent. From day 1, the service provided by this agency was spot on. Robyn McEwan provided us with good information on properties and helped us finding a suitable property we were looking as our first home. After we got our offer accepted, Katie Burns (Solicitor) took over. She is very friendly and gave us excellent advises. She took care of all legal aspects of transactions and provided us with a smooth transition to our new home. Fantastic service from start to finish! Honestly could not praise these guys enough for the help and support I received using the service. I contacted McEwan Fraser after being let down by another estate agent. Rachel Duff was instant to put in my offer for a property I liked. She replied to my emails within the hour and kept me well informed. Even after my offer was accepted often estate agents in my experience just want your custom then communication fizzles out after your offer has been accepted, but Rachel continued to reply to emails and kept me in the loop. I was then appointed a Solicitor Natalie Allan. I have never come across a solicitor like her. She was so on the ball and for a change the solicitor was chasing me and not the other way about! She gave me a completely different outlook on solicitors after such bad experience in the past. She was so helpful and professional. She was always on the other end of the phone when I needed her help and also replied to emails promptly. She was so organised which gave me confidence and reassurance deadlines would be met. Could not fault her professionalism. Anyone like myself who is looking for a professional service with communication being at the forefront I would 100% recommend McEwan Fraser. We have had great service from start to finish with McEwan Fraser Legal and we cannot fault them. Rachel was very helpful from the start in helping us submit an offer to Natalie who dealt with the conveyancing and purchase of the property. Communication was excellent and very professional; we were always kept updated and both Rachel and Natalie were easy to contact to discuss any queries. They may be more expensive than other companies but in this case you definitely get what you pay for.

From the start when the valuer arrived to value my home I felt I would be in safe and capable hands. When one or two minor delays arose he immediately dealt with it. In the final stages of having sold and purchased another property the solicitor acting on my behalf was excellent. He constantly kept me up to date. Explanations were precise and clear. He never rushed me , always considerate and went well out of his way to make transactions run as smoothly as possible. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
