We used McEwan Fraser to sell our house and the legals for a purchase. I’m rating this review as 5 stars as Hadia Sarral and Ross Jenkins far surpassed the standards and overall impression from McEwan Fraser in general. On the whole the company let us down on multiple occasions, and our initial contact/manager Ben was really disappointing. Almost overnight as soon as the contract was signed, contact became near impossible and we were left in a very tough position. However Hadia was relentless in pushing our sale through and getting us where we needed to be. I explained we were very apprehensive about the process, and we also had some last minute hurdles. She was calm, confident and reassuring throughout, but in a respectful way. Ross stepped in and helped manage the selling/offer process and was very helpful and responsive, and ultimately got us exactly what we needed. I would not particularly recommend using McEwan Fraser, however they have some fantastic people who are being let down by others.

Great experience

This is the second time using McEwan Fraser and I have been delighted with them again. Jamie has been excellent to deal with and very pro-active in getting our property on the market and sold quickly. Would definitely recommend.

We went with McEwan Fraser as they came highly recommended. The Estate Agent side of things was great and we quickly sold our property for around what we wanted. The legal side of things was shocking. Extremely poor communication, lack of sensitivity, slow execution of vital tasks. This led to us being in a position of being asked to choose between making our family homeless or loosing the sale. We spent everyday on our holiday, trying to get something concluded with the developer and the solicitor. We did move but our missives were concluded when all of our worldly belongings were on board the removals truck an hour before key collection. Very stressful and unhelpful.

McEwan Fraser Legal carried out the conveyancing for the purchase of our cottage at auction. Against a short timescale and managing the unique nuances of auction purchases, MFL kep us fully informed and up to date with the transaction process. We would like to mention in particular Lewis Dobbie and Xulin Chen for their professionalism and attention to customer care.
