Good price, excellent service just before Xmas, now waiting to see whether the bike does what it says on the tin (not Xmas yet so waiting to unwrap tomorrow)

Had been looking for electric assisted bikes for myself and my wife for a while and struggling to find somewhere that offered good products with good advice at a reasonable price. After reading the other reviews about Alpine and Steve's input we booked a test ride and went up to Leicester where Steve met us with a brand new Horizon and Vista to try in a nearby park. After 20 minutes cycling we both decided that we were happy with the bikes but just needed a day or so to finally decide. There was no problem with this and Steve was happy and said whatever we needed in terms of time or any advice to just let him know. We ordered the bikes a couple of days later and they were delivered by Steve to us in Northampton all ready to go. The bikes are great, well specced and look terrific. They are a bit heavy like all electric bikes but still easily rideable without any pedal assist on the flat but with the assist on they're a dream up hills or into head wind and I'm sure we're going to have years of fun days on them in the future. Bought the mountain bike to use for a daily commute along muddy, bumpy towpaths. It's fantastic. Well designed and sturdily built. The customer service is excellent, would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Great service. Brought trike to my front door so I could try it out for more than an hour. Steven got plenty of exercise jogging alongside me as I gained confidence. Better than another trike company I tried. Must say that the Alpine tilting function is ideal for a long time former cyclist to get used to a trike.

Well the title says it all. What a breath of fresh air this business is. From the outset of my first contact with Steven it was clear that he is passionate and very knowledgeable regarding the products he sells. I chose the folding compact as it will travel in my campervan as well as being used for leisure rides around home. The cycle was delivered ( fully assembled- ready to ride ) and demonstrated personally by Steven in less than 24 hours of our phone contact. That is a commitment to customer service very rarely seen. How am I finding the bike? It's clear that quality is foremost in the components used. Having the battery on the seat down tube gives the cycle amazing stabiliy and I was surprised by how well it handles. The gearing and 5 levels of pedal assist are absolutely spot on and give a very smooth predictable ride. I like the fact that the battery can be charged on or off the bike and is physically locked to the bike when removing the key. Folding the bike is super easy and the magnets hold the bike folded whilst carrying it. My longest ride to date. 20 miles of mixed canal towpath, wooded tracks and very hilly road riding. Using mainly pedal assist 3 with short bursts of level 4 and around 1 mile at level 5. Used up less than half of the 13ah battery. Arrived home feeling fresh and without the nagging pain in my Arthritic left knee I usually had with my normal cycle. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend an ebike to anyone. I would also highly recommend this company for their knowledge and customer service. You can't put a price on that. Many thanks Steven for getting me out on a cycle again.

Alpine Electric Bikes combine the best of both worlds: the convenience of online shopping with the benefits of a truly personal service. The excellent videos on their website convinced me that the Tilt Trike was just what I was looking for, and from the moment it arrived I knew I had made the right decision. Because I don't drive a car and could no longer ride my two wheeler, Alpine went out of their way to get the Trike to me as soon as possible. The handover briefing was most thorough and the after-sales service is equally as impressive. At first I did have a little difficulty adjusting to the distinctive handling of the Trike, but Alpine offered really helpful advice over the phone, and I quickly got the hang of it. Also, a minor mechanical fault that developed soon after purchase was dealt with efficiently and quickly under the terms of the guarantee. I can't remember a time when parting with so much money has been such a pleasurable experience. Thank you Steve!

I am very pleased with the bike and the management of the purchase. My only concern is I do like a booklet instead of the online product details that need to be printed off. I would recommend the trike to any one.

A great bike with great service delivered to our door for a test ride without any obligation. Great quality too. Bought the Horizon for my wife and she loves it. Assistance when she wants it but with 21 gears she rarely has the assistance above 3 so mileage is good too. I would definitely recommend Alpine Electric Bikes without any hesitation.

I never thought I'd ride a bike again due to mobility and balance problems, so the tilt electric trike is perfect. The bike is amazing! It feels like your constantly riding down hill or someone is giving you a push. You can also turn the assistance off and ride it like a normal bike if you're feeling energetic. It also feels like riding a normal 2 wheeled bike when you release the tilt function. Then when you're riding slow or stop you can lock the tilt and it's back to a normal trike. This trike feels like a quality product with excellent and friendly customer service so I would definitely recommend it.

There's an old expression, "does what it says on the tin" that's what I got, and more, from Alpine Electric Bikes. The research process to find the right trike for me was made easy by great and prompt information, other companies could not easily supply dimensions etc., Decision made but alas currently sold our so the bike needed to come from the next delivery; but the expected delivery date give at the time of order was accurate within a few days. The bike was delivered, full overview and instruction given. I managed to take in all but one point which was not covered in the manual, quick e-mail the following day was answered immediately, all solved. I think in reading this review you will know I have no hesitation in recommending Alpine Electric Bikes as a supplier should you be considering purchasing a e-bike. The service was great and no hard sell, no pressure, they don't need to, the bike is fantastic and would sell itself any day.

I recently took delivery of an electric trike. When I ordered the model was out of stock but I was given a delivery date which proved to be pretty accurate and I was happy to wait. Nearer the delivery I was given a day and time when it would arrive. It was delivered by van ready to ride - shame it was raining - and was given a quick run through of how it all worked. The trike looks a quality product and goes brilliantly. All in all a good experience.

Fantastic experience purchasing my electric bike. arrived 3 weeks early by Steven who talked me through how it worked and sorted out my finance and 2 weeks free insurance from my home on the day. Fabulous service! Steve couldn't have been more helpful. He spends time explaining everything to you and giving useful tips on such things as how to look after your bikes battery and keep it going for many years.
