Well, this is the second time I’ve written a review. But as the firm is worth it, here is a summary. Good product. Personal service, especially on delivery when everything can be clarified and for the inexperienced, how to ride a tricycle. Not difficult, just different. Here is tip which I haven’t shared yet. Don’t worry about the height of the step over. 1) put left pedal at approx '25 mins to the hour' position. 2) brakes on 3) right leg on left pedal, pop your bottom on saddle. 4) right leg over the bar! Done, you might have to wiggle backwards a little on the saddle to do that. Good luck, enjoy the freedom of being out and about!

So pleased with my Alpine explorer trike. They delivered my Trike to me and spent time showing me how to ride it safely and confidently. I got the hang of it quickly under the gentleman's guidance. I am no longer allowed to drive due to a medical condition, so having this Trike has given me back my independence. I love it! Thank you Alpine electric Trikes.

The great thing was you coming to me. I was desperate to have a bike but when I realised I wasn’t strong enough to ride it you very kindly understood and didn’t try to persuade me it was right for me which was such a help. Thank you for being so thoughtful Diana Ridsdill Smith

Steve, who delivered the Trike spent some time with me as riding one is a very different experience to riding a bike. I am only now getting more confident riding it.

Steve is A very nice guy. He knows how to treat people and make friends not customers. I Highly recommends him if you are looking for an e-bike. Quality is very good. Support him.

Superb customer service, Steve brought 2 electric trikes for me to try - showed and demonstrated how to use them, gave me tips before I got on. I was extremely unconfident to start off with but he encouraged me to keep going until I felt more comfortable. I bought the Electric Tilt Bike

No response from seller. No instruction book.insufficient practice as seller was in a hurry. The seat needed to be lowered and adjusted, no final decision. Trycyle left with seat unsecured as salesman was in a hurry to get to another client. Unused to this day l am very upset about it.

The large number of good reviews of this firm are with regards to sales and delivery. The product I received, Alpine Explorer Trike, appears to be basically a good product, mass produced in China. The trouble with mass production is that the odd one is defective but slips through into the supply chain. This is why our retail system is supposed to take responsibility and devote part of their profit to ensure consumer satisfaction. What Alpine Trikes do not tell you is that this is a one man selling band with NO BACK UP. The Office Address given on their paperwork is an accommodation address only. The phone is rarely manned and is not at his declared office - you may or not get a return call. Email will be responded to but if you have a problem do not expect much in the way of customer service. There is no instruction book or manual and unless he happens to be passing your way on a delivery you will be offered no help. There is no back up at the office address - do not waste your time calling in. Why am I complaining? My trike had a basic problem in the electronics. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. After an exchange of communication and a long wait he called. The trike chose to work and the problem was dismissed as my faulty handling. With no instruction book that might have been possible but basically I was not believed and he had no equipment for testing and I feel has very limited knowledge of electronics. The problem returned as soon as he left and I tried everything but could not get it to work all the time. The power would cut out randomly; parked overnight or halfway through a journey. Action by Alpine Trikes was refused unless I returned the trike to his address. I had no alternative but to do this using a taxi van as I had no way of packing the trike (A large object! to ensure it traveled without damage in a regular courier service. The van driver arrived and eventually found the "office" where no one wantedto accept it, even though I had arranged a return time.it was coming. The office was not keen to accept it. The van driver was unhappy not to get a receipt and would only leave it on the doorstep when I agreed toaccept responsibility. The trike eventually reached Alpine trikes and guess what it worked. Luckily Christmas intervened and next time he tried it declined to switch on. I do not pnow how much experience he can claim in trike trepair but he couldnot fix this one. So in the end I have been delivered a new trike But return of the £300 the van cost me - Oh NO. So I have a trike but have been nearly 5 months without and am £300 down. The new trike was delivered without charge but I had to wait on his convenience - ie he was in this direction on a delivery. So, BUYER BEWARE. The product is probably basically sound but Customer Service is minimal. A final point - you will be offered 90 minutes of instruction etc on delivery. Mine fell far short and there was quite a lot to be told - too much to remember for some of us and the elderley are a significant part of the new trike riders.BE WARNED - learning to ride a trike is not quick and easy. There is one hard and fast rule - you have to drive like you would a car - approaching a turn, stop and brake! Sounds simple but it is not as a car has a natural tendency to run straight or to respond to gentle pressure on the steering. The trikes very loose bicycle style steering will not be so easy to control. Watch motorcycle side car racing and you will see that it is necessary to shift some weight to the outside of a turn made at any speed. You will find it is not easy to hold the trike in a straight line with any degree of road camber - a particular problem on the quieter country roads. Riding around a level car park or estate is quite easy. Look on ebay and you will see trikes on sale - "only used a few times" "dear old dad could not manage". Alpine will assure you how easy it is but give inadequate warning. Cycling on dusy roads can be hazardous. Car drivers are not good at understanding bicyclists and seem totally to misunderstand the road width a trike needs. You cycle with your nearside wheel in the cutter at your peril! An explicit instruction book would be a great help to get new riders safer on the road. There are also quite a few points of routine maintenance that would help you to maintain your considerable investment. When I purchased an electric bike 7 years ago I had a very detailed set of instructions for maintenance and the managing of the bike especially the electrics.

Initial telephone conversation to discuss personal experience of cycling and reasons for wanting an e trike led to very good advice. However as I still wasn’t sure which one I wanted they were able to let me test ride two models on the day. Good communication and very prompt arrival despite the long drive. Excellent advice, demo, instructions and plenty of time to try each trike. Choice made. (Spot on with initial recommendation). I love it!
