I bought the explorer trike as a serious mode of transport, rather than just for pottering about. It is perfect for the job: comfortable, stable and the motor has exceptional torque. My daily trip is not long, but includes a very steep hill, which I could not conquer with a less powerful motor. I was given plenty of time to try my hill before buying, so good customer service and smooth transaction.

Excellent help and information prior to the purchase. Same help during the test ride and also excellent after sales service.

This is the second time I have been invited to review Alpine Electric Bikes and so far I am still delighted with my E-Trike. Expensive but appears well made It was a long time coming but I was kept well informed so I didn't mind. The delivery was smooth and I was given a good demonstration. So far I have not been on the road with it partly due to inclement weather and partly I was advised to get very used to it first as it a little different to my previous electric bike which was an excellent bike but I have developed a balance problem and considered the E-Trike to be a safer option.

The Alpine Tilt-trike is extremely well built and sturdy. It's also easy to ride and manoeuvre. I'm delighted with it [though I hadn't ridden a bike in nearly 70 years]. It was delivered by Steve exactly at the time we'd arranged and he gave me plenty of time to ask questions, try it out and get confident using it. I've emailed him with several more queries and he's answered these quickly and clearly. So I can say that this is a very good trike and the after-service excellent. Highly Recommended.

I am great full to Steve to getting bike back on the road once he fixed it. He try to fix it here, didn’t work he worked really hard to get it to work. Sick of Halfords who claim it can repair electric bike utter lies, I would trust Steve to do it

I love my new trike its so easy to ride and goes so fast, I have chronic Rheumatoid arthritis and can not do weight bearing exercises anymore I also have a lung problem and by doing a little exercise helps to keep them clear. I have had mobility scooters and they cost double of this trike even without vat and when they go wrong it cost a fortune. If you are fed up with buying scooters only for them to go wrong after a years or so, buy one of these trikes well made goes like the clappers and great fun even in the rain. I have always called my transport by name my trike is called Happy Freedom because it was the first time in 2 months I had been out. Steve is the chap to speak to Kind no pressure good person, so thank you Steve for my wonderful trike

Good service. Brought the trike to my home and made sure I could operate the tilt system and understand how to ride the trike and look after it. Didn’t think l’d like the tilt system but I do. Wouldn’t be without it now. All I need now is to find a way of transporting it on the back of my camper! Cynthia Conway

I would give five stars but support is worrying as my extended warranty Sent by recorded mail was ignored. Neither do I have any information on the standard warranty. The download trike manual does not mention the three speed gears

The bicycle I received was delivered to my home, I tried the bike before I purchased it, and I must say the bike is great with extras you would not get on another make, however the battery only lasts for seven miles before it runs out, I am currently waiting for a new battery which I am told will be approximately seven weeks. To sum up the bike is great, the after sales service is non existant.

Everything went as planned. I had a minor problem understanding the display switches which are not explained in the handbook, however an email to the company, triggered a rapid response on the phone resolving the issue. Would highly recommend this company.

i bought this bike to ride to work,i was using a pushbike before it took me over an hour to get there,i have reduced that to 45mins really good bike. had a slight problem when i took for its first ride contacted steven at alpine and it was resolved very quickly,good customer care

The Alpine Trike is a sturdy, well made bike, but is not entirely suitable for anyone with mobility or balance problems. On a footpath with a decided slope it is liable to tip over, so really does need to be used on the road, as most footpaths are both rough and frequently have a camber. I have not tried mine on the tilt mode, so it may well be safer than on the 'fixed' setting which does seem to have about 2-3 cm play. With my balance being bad I felt rather wobbly, but have decided to persevere in spite of finding out that one can fall on a tricycle.

Great product and service. Trike was delivered safely and Steve took time to explain and demonstrate everything.
