United Kingdom | 04 August 2014Very disappointed with slow delivery of the shower tray. Paid for on 17 July, dispatched on 21 st July from splash direct, received via courier on 30 July. When I queried the length of time, I was told that the time frame was within their contractual agreement, and splash direct dispatch within 4 working days. Little did I know that it would sit in a warehouse in the NE for days, as Wales was 'too remote' from the courier! I have ordered bathroom items from other companies, not had to pay £29.95 carriage and received the items far more quickly. As a result, I would not use splash direct again. The dispatch and length of delivery times need to be more clearly indicated on the website. But as I was told by both splash direct and the courier company 'it was within their contractual agreement' !

United Kingdom | 04 August 2014Purchased our bath screen in advance of being in stock but was a little surprised when payment was taken immediately. However, it was received within 3 days of the stated "in stock" date. Warning, if you have Marbrex wall panels spacers are essential when fitting a Semi Frameless screen. I think Splash direct should at least mention this problem.

Purchased a bathroom cabinet which arrived earlier than expected and was extremely well packaged. Item was as described and also cheaper than other suppliers for the same product.

United Kingdom | 01 August 2014Awkward position across bathroom window solved (partly) by this 2 wall hinged screen. Manufacturers instructions poor and dimensionally inaccurate. Delivery info confusing between SD and delivery service. I waited in expecting it to arrive when it hadn't left Slash Direct. Overall pleased with unit but SD & manufacturer and TNT need to get their act together.

An attempt to deliver the parcel was made on 21st July & then left with a neighbour on 22nd. Fortunately my neighbour is trustworthy as the 'signature' on the delivery was not his. probably a made up name

United Kingdom | 31 July 2014I was so happy to find a shower screen I liked at a great price and was impressed when it was dispatched earlier than expected. The delivery agents TNT tried to deliver when I was out. Fine. So I arranged a re delivery to a different address. The people at that address waiting in all day to find out that they had tried my address again! Then on another two occasions they failed to even put it on the van. When I finally spoke to customer services I spoke to a nice lady who arranged a times delivery between 7am and 9am so I delayed going in to work only for it to not have been put on the van for a third time!! They then had to pay a private courier to deliver it that afternoon. Sadly TNT have let this company down and I would not order while they continue to use TNT

United Kingdom | 30 July 2014Shower screen arrived in reasonable time and was inspected a few days later. Small but vital part found to be broken and photo sent as requested. SplashDirect are either lying to us or TNT are lying to SplashDirect but the result to us is the same; no replacement part. Do not deal with this company. They take your money but are not interested in resolving issues which should be quick and low cost for them to deal with yet vital for their customers. We have 2 more bathrooms to tackle and SplashDirect will not be part of any of it.

However after purchasing a shower enclosure only part of it has so far been delivered and I am expecting the other parts in the next few days. This will be 5 weeks since original order despite being told on at least 2 occasions that it would be sooner.

United Kingdom | 28 July 2014I'm sure I was just perhaps unlucky, however my experience with Splash Direct was very poor. Their automated e-mails for dispatch need to be reviewed. I received a message to say the item had been sent and it turned out this was a mistake (twice)!! The first was because 1 of the 2 items ordered was dispatched however (as confirmed by a staff member) their system doesn't seem to handle partial dispatches, instead confirming the entire order as dispatched. The next dispatch e-mail was a system error - which ended up wasting my time waiting around for a delivery. When the product did finally arrive, worst luck it was broken! I've given 2 stars as customer service was fine and refund offered - but next time just get it right and sort your systems out!

United Kingdom | 28 July 2014I can't actually comment on the quality of the product I ordered yet (although I will be completely unsurprised if it arrives damaged given it seems to have been knocking about in a warehouse or the back of a van for the best part of three weeks at this point) Ordered a bath screen on July 12th (via their Amazon shop) with an estimated delivery range of July 21st - 24th. Had to send my bathroom fitters away on Friday 25th with the job incomplete as the screen had still not arrived by the end of the week. When I chased them today (note, at no point did anyone from Splash Direct or Domestic Distribution, the couriers contact me to advise of late delivery, I had to do all the chasing myself) I was told the earliest they could now deliver was Thursday 31st July, a full 14 working days after I ordered for an item supposedly in stock at the time. All I can say is I'm glad the rest of my bathroom refit came from the Bathstore and Victorian Plumbing (who, in contrast to Splash Direct, had very helpful customer service staff when arranging a replacement for a damaged item). I will be taking my custom elsewhere in future and would advise you to do the same.
