United States | 03 July 2023Bought a kilo silver bar. Bar arrived with no certificate of authenticity and/or assay certificate. Receipt has no serial number either. No real way to prove that the serial number/bar that was shipped to me is genuine from the mint.

Mind you, banner on top of website indicates free shipping on orders over x amount Probably buried in fine print somewhere (or was it?) 'except for specials' This item alone more than qualified cost wise 3 x's, but I added another 6.5 K plus to the order. Yes, I had a shipping fee. Add insult to injury, it took a good month before shipped and I received my product AFTER payment. Add more insult to injury, phone call after a couple weeks was with someone who had a snarky attitude. Not impressed but chose not to make any waves until after I received my purchase...

United States | 02 July 2023I ordered the new customer 5 oz silver at spot deal. the add showed Silver Rounds in 1 0z, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz and a 1 oz bar. They show that it is there choice on what to send. I assumed some combination of what is shown in the picture. What i got was a single 5 oz generic bar that is so poorly stamped it's hard to read what it says. SD Brand, 5 0z .9999 silver. very poorly stamped into the silver bar. Doesn't look like any of the silver 5 oz bars they show on there web site.

United States | 30 June 2023I've been reading reviews and analyzed both the positive and negative reviews. The negative reviews are coming primarily from those that are incompetent. Most of the negativity is directed towards payment, shipping and restocking issues, all of which are mostly out of SD's control. So stop berating this amazing company. SD is ethical, prompt and communicates well. I recommend them over any other company. Read all of their descriptions on products, payment and shipping information, all of which is simply common sense stuff, and you will be very happy with them.

It was genuine i had it tested by a real jeweler. 5. Gives me options on buying my gold. My only one Dislikes are chargeing me exstra for fast shipping when it really wasn't fast at all.

United States | 24 June 2023I was really enjoying dealing with SD Bullion and spent several thousand dollars with them since April this year. Then suddenly, something went wrong on June 1st and their website returned payment to our checking account and the transaction bounced. They not only accused us of causing the problem that their website caused but told me they will never EVER do business with me again. All I got was this email message but as you can see, it doesn't make any sense: "Unfortunately, we were not able to fully verify this transaction (Order #) or the system concluded there was too much risk to approve this payment type for the order. Any charge by credit card or PayPal has been voided. e-Check payments will be refunded if the payment fully clears into our account. If you would still like to order with SD Bullion, please give us a call at 1-800-294-8732 to inquire about the process. Thank you, SD Bullion Sales Department" So why would the email invite me to call them if I still wanted to order with them if they never wanted to do business with me ever again? I pleaded with them for an explanation of what I did wrong to deserve such a decision, but they refused to explain themselves. As a result, our bank account has been locked.

I was told it would take approximately 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. Today is June 20 and received the package today. Checked out the product and I am completely satisfied. I have no worries ordering from S.D. Bullion again.

United States | 16 June 2023I entered an order for silver from SD Bullion about a month ago and their site would not take my payment, so I could not complete my order. At this time, I was undergoing treatment for cancer and making trips to Mayo Clinic so I could not follow up with this company. Last week, I receive a bill for $400 from them for the cancellation and “market loss.” I contacted them and explained that so could not get the order payment to go through and my personal situation. I offered to complete the transaction at the agreed upon price (silver is a bit lower now) or asked if they could waive the fee considering the payment issue and my illness causing me to not be able to work it out with them. They absolutely refused and said that if I did not pay their fee, they will send it to collections. I let them know that they can send it to collections as my credit score is the last thing on my mind and that Biden is actually rewarding people with bad credit now. I just want folks to know what kind of company they will be dealing with is they chose to deal with SD Bullion. They like to paint themselves as a Christian company that does business the honest, old fashioned way! In my opinion, they re anything but! They are heartless and money hungry! Buyer beware!! Time for them to post their standard jiberesh response. Take a look at all the other folks that had very similar problems to see what kind of company they are!!

United States | 07 June 2023I really don't like writing reviews like this but it is deserved. I'm a new customer to SD, not to metals purchases. The item descriptions lack important info (like troy oz weight) in them, checkout process is confusing--offering a myriad of options with little description of what they are. This is what really tripped me up, I opted for a bank payment thinking it was an ACH payment and it turned out to be a true wire transfer (which is time consuming and annoying). I tried their online 'customer service' to switch payment methods and it was useless--they told me I had to call. I called, went through their automated menu and was hung up on. I called back a few minutes later and told an agent I want to cancel the order and without looking up any info she wanted to argue with me about paying a cancellation fee for a $659, first-time order. I'm just shaking my head at the horrible level of customer service. Stick to one of the other bullion services. This place sucks and has lost a customer forever.

United States | 26 May 2023I gave them one start because, I cant do negative 10 starts, that said, they are not to be trusted, once they ship your order, you technically own it, here is my story... they did not delivered my coins as promised, once I called to notify them of the issue, they asked me to fill out their lost item form and told me it would take about 3 days and they would contact me to refund me my money or re shipped the coins. 3 days later they did not contacted me at all, so I called them and to my surprise SD Bullion / the people changed their policy on me, & informed me that, I had to wait for them to get paid from the insurance company, before they could issue me a refund. don't do business with SD Bullion they are not good people. management is negative 100 stars on customer service. it's all about them and not the customer. just go to your local coin dealer if you want PMS coins. some one from their no customer service department replied to my comment and honestly they are trying to hide behind their nonsense policy which is all about them. they can keep their coins, I do not want them any more. SD Bullion you lost a good customer and hundreds of referrals.

Ordered from JM Bullion same day close to same amount no extra charge and already received JM Bullion. SD bullion has not even shipped yet! Never again. No it hasn't shipped it's sitting at you facility. I got notice yesterday afternoon it was going to be shipped but it hasn't. My card was charged on the 22nd. So it was cleared. I know about your shipping terms. I'm just saying JM is much faster without the extra charge.

United States | 09 May 2023I placed an order and it went through verified with plaid. SD Bullion tells me it bounced. I called my bank and they said no, Sd put numbers in wrong. My order got sent back. I had them resubmit after giving them my account info again and money came out of my bank asap. They said they would ship asap and I’m still waiting. It was a bad experience dealing with them and I will shop somewhere else for future needs. Disappointed in the customer service and their ownership of the error. They blamed the customer instead of themselves.
