As far as the graded coins I got, they were fantastic, but I ordered in 2022 on one Monday morning and you never shipped until Friday! Come on man! Why does it take 5 days to ship when it’s in stock? How hard is it to Put a couple of coins in a box and ship! Way to go Brandon!

Purchased a 2023 One Ounce Gold Britannia and roll of Silver Kruggerands. Gold Britannia was heavily scratched across Queens face. Following is final email sent to the company... Per your instructions, I am informing you I will not be returning the gold coin. Even though I am not satisfied with the coin, since gold prices have gone up, I have covered my cost by selling to a local dealer. I must admit I was disappointed in the way this was handled. A 2023 gold coin should never have been shipped to me in the condition it was. A quick review of the coin prior to shipment would have seen the scratches to the "queens" face. Since this was a gift, not intended as a bullion coin, its condition was especially unacceptable. When I notified you; your response was a $10 gift "card," which made no sense. You did say I could return the coin at my expense. That also makes no sense. You sent a visually unacceptable coin, and then wanted me to pay to return. I sent pics early on in the process for verification. As indicated I will not be returning as gold prices have covered my costs to sell to a local dealer, and purchase a replacement from him. But I do not feel I was treated responsibly all things considered. All someone had to do was take a look at the coin prior to shipment to realize it was not acceptable.... John T. This has no impact on the value of the bullion. If you are a collector looking for flawless coins I would recommend purchasing graded MS70 or proof editions of the bullion coins." I agree Bullion Coins are rarely perfect and I did not expect this to be. That being said this coin had deep scratches/ rub marks across the face of the Queen. As the pics I sent indicate; these were not "minor imperfections" as you normally see on Bullion Coins. These were significant and heavily impacted the appearance. Thank you for your offer to pay for the shipping on a new coin, and I may take you up on your offer. But if the coin had been reviewed prior to shipping you would have realized this coin was not likely to be acceptable. Thx. John T.

We ordered American gold Eagle in AU conditions ("almost uncirculated") paid at a premium (the second highest after BU). They sent us chipped, dented, warn out coins. We sent the picture back to them. They refused to exchange them arguing that the coins were in good conditions that can be called AU. The customer service was not helpful at all. Beaware!

I have bought over 30K worth from SD Bullion, & have never had a problem. They are the most likely to have the deals I want. I just got a 10g Argor-Heraeus Kinebar - AT SPOT, (black Friday deal). I just got it yesterday, looks great. The only problem I got is I can't keep my metals at home, it's just not safe. I wish I could take them out & look at them easy. :) So I got my nice little 10 gram with me for a day or so until I can get it to the safe at the bank that is over 40 miles away.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! I ordered two 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf Brilliant Uncirculated Coins from SD Bullion on September 25, 2022 and one arrived with two scratches on the front side surface. I was told via email from Rachel at SD Bullion, “I do apologize for that scuff, as it will not impact the resale value. We would love to send you a $10 coupon to compensate for that!” My response to Rachel, “Rachel, I appreciate the gesture but the true issue for me stems from the fact that I was purchasing a brilliant uncirculated coin with no damage. Had I been purchasing a secondary market coin this would obviously be of no concern. When purchasing this product I was purchasing it for the clarity and lack of physical damage. And although brilliant uncirculated coins may not be proof quality they certainly are not secondary market or cull coins. I’m also sure we can both agree that while the scuff may not impact the actual value of the gold from a monetary standpoint a scuff absolutely will affect the resale if and when I ever decide to sell the coin. I would propose selling me another 2022 brilliant uncirculated maple leaf (one with no damage) but $100-150 back of list price to cover the damage to the first coin received. This seems a fair and equitable compromise. Please let me know if this agreeable.” I was told that $10 would be all they would be willing to offer or I could mail the coin back at my expense. They refused to cover the cost of shipping because of what they said was a liability issue. The entire experience has been extremely frustrating. The response to selling a damaged item by offering a $10 coupon or offering a return at my expense to a customer who spent over $3,500 is very disappointing and frankly unacceptable. The website promotes the company as “…doing business the old-fashioned way” and offering “world-class products, the best bullion prices, with industry-top customer service” but unfortunately my experience reflects otherwise.

SD Bullion had the most options and best prices for my searches getting started investing in physical precious metals delivery. They have a solid team working there it seems to keep your orders secure and delivered properly. I would recommend that if you register account online and planning a purchase that once you connect a payment source etc that you contact the office and plan ahead that all your information is in order and then place your orders. After all these folks are brokering precious metals sales and delivery quite efficiently so do your diligence to prepare your account before ordering and thus far my experience is excellent.

These guys are a crook, hitting you with ridiculous cancelation fees. Go somewhere else, you will thank me later. Update, Your response is BS. There is no reason to charge $500 for anything, when nothing was sent, recieved, and you guys never once touch a piece of silver on my behalf. Also this is not a industry standard. I have canceled orders with Hero, and JM due to mistakes just like the one I placed with your preditory company. Did not recieve a threat or crazy cancelation fee. You are crooks, and blaming some nonexistent industry standard is laughable.

This was my first order with SD Bullion and didn't know what to expect. I had been referred to them by someone I had met at a coin show. He said he had been dealing with them for years and had never been disappointed. After receiving my order in a timely matter, I have to agree. The coins I received were great! I will be ordering again.

Everything I ordered came within a couple of weeks, which was good. The only complaint I have is that the two 5oz silver bars I received appear have scratch damage on the corners. Otherwise, I appreciate SD Bullion and continue to order precious metals from them.
