My mum bought one of your sofa beds on our recommendation. The sofa bed was virtually impossible to put away. My mum, me, my sister and her girlfriend all tried, together, and still couldn’t do it. It didn’t lie flat either. Part of the bed stayed in a point. Wed push on it and it would bounce back up again. I wish we’d videos our attempts. Anyway, someone from your team came out to assess and deemed the sofa to be fine! My mum still couldn’t put it away. I put so much force on it the other end came off the floor. In the end you charged my mum for collection to take it away before she could have a refund. I’m so embarrassed for recommending you. I will never buy from you again.

Nothing but praise for Darlings. Although there were several weeks delay due to a fabric material shortage , Darlings did everything possible to expedite the order when it the material became available. I bought a sofa and chair and the build quality is excellent along with the linen fabric . Really pleased with the result . Also commended is Atlas Logistics the company Darling used to deliver the furniture . Really competent and professional. I can certainly recommended Darlings.

After feeling so hopeful about our loveseat sofa bed, we were absolutely appalled when it arrived. Don’t get me wrong, it looked amazing BUT after sitting on it, it was like sitting on a brick. And like leaning back on a brick. After speaking with the team, we followed their advice to let air in the cushions, we kept trying it again and again but there was no change. It should not be described as a sumptuous sink in the cushions experience. We were horrified after the money we paid. We were then informed that we could return it for a refund but would lose 20% of the price we paid!!! Considering it would be used 90% as a sofa and occasional as a pull out bed, there was no way we could keep it. We had also paid extra for full feather cushioning and extra for the pocket sprung mattress! We are disgusted by customer service, they can’t be nice enough to get the sale, but don’t want to know when you are disappointed. It was certainly not as described and the sofa.com bluebell loveseat is far far superior to Darlings of Chelsea. I feel it was not described as it really was, and I would never ever use this company again.

The sofa was perfect. The staff helped us pick a lovely colour and size and it fit right in to our living room. The delivery men brought in the sofa very efficiently.

The pillows for Darlings of Chelsea’s sofa are terrible. One is perfect, one is way too high in the middle, and the chase is too low. 4000£ sofa looks ridiculous and will never buys from them again. Terrible cast Omer service. They were e-milong me to order almost every second day and when the pillow needs to be replaced I’m waiting more than 2 months and nothing is done. Total rip off.

Easy to navigate web site, was able to customise my sofa, loads of fabric choices and colours, didn't have to wait long for delivery, customer service was excellent

I went to the Fulham Darlings of Chelsea in February 2024 to choose a fabric (Evergreen cotton). I noted that there could be colour variations with a natural dyed fabric, but was assured that I could approve a sample from the actual roll of fabric used for the sofa. I approved a sample that was sent to me 3 weeks later and took receipt of my new sofa in April 2024. When it arrived it didn’t match the sample. It was much lighter and a completely different tone. Sofa was returned. I was put in touch with customer services. What followed was 4 months of liaison between me, customer services and their fabric house. I was sent countless samples which never matched the original. It became obvious that the sample I’d approved had just come from the showroom, it wasn’t from the fabric house. The fabric house are completely inept and made multiple mistakes. By August 2024 customer services effectively told me that they couldn’t match the fabric which I had chosen and which was widely available in showrooms and still offered online. I was offered a 7% discount on my £3040 sofa, if I accepted a sofa with the closest match to the fabric. Customer services eventually conceded that I would be better getting a refund. So, I have wasted 6 months on Darlings of Chelsea and gave nothing to show for it other than literally hundreds of emails and countless conversations with Sharif in Fulham and then Harriet in customer services. Always very polite and sympathetic but ultimately appalling service from a supposedly respected company. The refund took 17 days to come through finally on 27/9/24. I would advise against using this company.

Dealing with staff on the telephone was very good. I was ordering a sofa for my son in York, I live in Northampton, so I asked them to use a mobile telephone number for my son , this was to let him know when it would be ready, delivered etc.This never happened throughout the whole transaction, even though after each time it happened I reminded them and told them the mobile number again. Very frustrating for me getting the last phone call saying we are ten minutes away. When the sofa was ready I got the email to pay outstanding amount, which I did only then to receive another email about delivery, this said I had 14 days to arrange or I would have to pay storage charge. Then I was told they only deliver to York on a Friday, so in the end I only had one day for it to be delivered, no choice at all. I rang Darlings to complain and was told it was nothing to do with them as the delivery firm was independent. Surely Darlings employ them and could arrange better delivery options to be available, I was faced with you have one day for delivery and if you do not accept that we will charge you storage on a weekly charge.

Excellent from start to finish. We were helped enormously by Alex in your Parsons Green showroom in our choice of sofa bed and fabric. Alex then kept us up to date right through the delivery (delivery men were excellent). We are delighted with all aspects of our purchase and the service received from Darlings.

From the 1st contact I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely & knowledgeable the staff member Jasmine was with my purchase query about the sofas we had ordered online without testing in store! The process was easy but tedious having to wait 6 weeks for 2 sofas' but well worth the quality! In addition the easy access arm removal was what made us choose to buy from Darlings & the delivery people where 5* service completely!
