After having a terrible experience with two other companies 'Dusk' (endless delays and a 9 month wait for a furniture order) and 'The Cotswold Company' (items delivered broken and terrible customer service) it was a pleasant surprise to have such a great experience with 'Darlings of Chelsea', a person to actually speak to, aservice that was followed up efficiently, with plenty of updates of delivery dates and a flawless delivery of the sofa that I ordered. I would throuoghly recommend them and do not order anything from 'Dusk' is my advice.

Be very aware when purchasing anything at all from this company. Also be careful if you give them your bank details, they will take a large amount money from you without you giving them consent to do so. Please be careful

A good experience all round. We live in Jersey which often makes deliveries a problem but Darlings dealt with the shipping at a very reasonable extra cost and our corner sofa arrived earlier than expected. Somewhere during the shipping a coin sized bit of damage was done so the brilliant Harriet in customer services immediately made sure the material roll was set aside, despatched to us and got a very efficient local upholsterer to replace an entire back piece in two days. They also refunded the UK vat very promptly after delivery. The only improvement in service I would suggest for Jersey buyers is for Darlings to get the Jersey upholsterer to do the unpacking and assembly here as otherwise the customer has to do it.

Our sofa is amazing. It has high quality and the fabric is also very good! The service in the store was also very good and the staff very friendly. We are just happy that we made this choice and buy a sofa from Darlings of Chelsea.

We had a good experience from the initial visit to the showroom and a helpful show around the various options of sofa styles and fabric choices. The team were responsive from end to end and the sofas came on time. Overall it has been a straightforward, polite and well organised experience, with excellent communication from the team. It did get a little confusing when the storage costs went up mid-way which didn't take into account the costs we had already agreed. A minor blip in an otherwise smooth purchase. Thank you

The lack of communication about the estimated delivery times was so frustrating. When ringing, no one seemed to know what was going on with our delivery until I made a complaint. Item is fine, not outstanding, this company holds themselves out as quality and high end- not the experience we’ve had I’m afraid.

We bought two sofas from Darlings - the Exmouth sofa bed in our own choice of bespoke fabric; and the Hackney chaise. We're delighted with both! And guests are already praising how comfy the sofa bed is to sleep on! Communication and customer service has been excellent throughout (thank you in particular to Sherif at the Parsons Green branch), and we feel really well looked after. Overall thoroughly impressed with our experience and with the sofas themselves, which were a really substantial investment for us. Many thanks.
