Darlings of Chelsea offer outstanding quality furniture and exceptional customer service. I have been using Darlings for a number of years now on various projects and have always been impressed by the level of customer care I and my clients receive.

Two very well made, stylish sofas. Our large Whinfell is extremely comfortable and the Kendal scatterback sofa bed is sturdy, solid and comfortable both as a sofa and a bed. Both have spill proof material, red wine wiping straight off with no stain left.

Staff were helpful and informative. Product arrived to meet time frame with no delays. The product itself is of high quality and well made. The delivery men were great too. Nothing too much trouble. All in all very pleased.

Lovely showroom . Enough help and guidance given without being intrusive by Mohammed in Birmingham . Order was a bit delayed , however I received regular updates on progress. Delivery men very good and helpful . Very pleased with our new bed settee.

I found Darlings of Chelsea on the internet as I was searching for something special for my apartment in London. We had bought this from abroad after waiting a really long time - it was important to be putting down roots in London (where I am from) after spending years abroad. We ordered the sofa bed in a beautiful velvet green as well as a loveseat in a deep leather brown. The care and personal attention and responsiveness from the team, especially Chloe Goldstone, was excellent. They made the purchase easy and it made a huge difference to talk someone on the phone, explaining your personal circumstances and getting honest advice. The sofa, when it arrived did not disappoint. It is gorgeous. We have been sleeping on it and it is so comfortable. I would highly recommend Darlings of Chelsea.

I ordered a leather chesterfield from Darlings for a second home just outside of Plymouth. I have absolutely no complaints about the sofa itself. I paid a high price for quality and that is what I received. It took more than 3 months to manufacturer the sofa, but the completion date was given to me upfront so we planned our summer in the house accordingly. What I didn’t anticipate based on their communications with me was that I would end up waiting another 3 weeks after completion because the courier that Darlings use, Atlas, only visit the southwest once per month. This meant that we had no seating for the first 3 weeks of a scheduled 6 week stretch in the new house. I emailed and called the sales rep at Darlings, who up until that point had been corresponding with me regularly, to see if we could find a workable delivery alternative (different courier, pick up the sofa myself, etc). She never responded to any emails or calls and I haven’t heard from her since. I ended up speaking to someone in store several times, but it was clear he had no experience dealing with online orders (but he did try). Given the price point of the furniture, I felt extremely let down by the lack of personalised service and responsiveness when it came to arranging delivery. The courier delivery itself was equally a nightmare. I called Atlas and gave very specific instructions that the delivery guys must call me BEFORE attempting the the narrow lane to the house. They called me only when they were sitting in the transit outside the house which was a full hour before the two hour delivery window, so of course no one was in the house yet. Their transit was far too large to use the lane (as predicted), knocked down every low hanging branch on our neighbour’s tree, blocked the entire lane for almost two hours in the morning when people were trying to get to work because they were too big to use the turning point. Neighbours shouting, chaos ensuing, etc. You get the picture. I couldn’t sit on the sofa for a good 24 hours because the delivery experience soured me on it so badly. To sum it up - the sofa itself is 5* quality, but everything else about my experience was 1*, so unfortunately I will not be ordering from Darlings again and would hesitate to make any recommendation. As for the courier, Atlas of London, I will avoid like the plague.

The sofa I received from Darlings of Chelsea was exactly what I was looking for and looks great! Darlings have a great range of sofa's with a very good selection of fabrics and colours to choose from. My only criticism was with the communication and ordering. The communication could have been better and more of it. Though the staff were really friendly and helpful on the phone, I did have to chase a little to get the delivery sorted and get a receipt.

Id been into the Parsons Green store and picked a sofa I was about to buy. Then went away and was persuaded by a different smaller South London independent store to buy a sofa from them instead. They could price match, bespoke also, buy local. Big costly mistake. That sofa arrived with no delivery note completely wrong missing a seat section. No solution offered and customer service a total nightmare that is ongoing.. So went back to Darlings and first ordered a pair of arm chairs they you can see and try out. From the huge choice of fabrics to the detailed instore information and emails about the product available. Updates about when the delivery would arrive. A delay on the delivery date they kept us informed. We could pick a day that suited us. Really well packed. Seamless service. I went back and ordered a replacement sofa again everything went smoothly. This time we weren’t ready for delivery so their couriers offer a storage service. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They have a great store full of sofas they care about their customers the sofas are beautifully made and comfortable it just works.

Staff at Darlings were welcoming and very helpful when we were trying to choose a new sofa bed. There was no pressure but every assistance. Everything was as they said it would be and we are absolutely delighted with our new acquisition.

Really love the sofa but it took ages to arrive. We were told 6-8 weeks when we ordered but it was about 19 weeks by the time we got it. We were only informed of the delay when we chased it up.

Waited 16 weeks for my sofa to be delivered. Extremely disappointed as sofa had a multitude of defects. Returned for full refund. Back to the drawing board … customer service were efficient in dealing with my complaint and issuing refund. Expensive sofa which certainly did not meet my expectations and hugely concerned that it passed quality control when clearly had numerous faults.
