Update March 2025: Darlings of Chelsea have worked really hard to resolve the issue with their manufacturer and we’ve had a new sofa delivered last week which visually looks so much better and we thought all the issues were resolved. But unfortunately when you sit on the sofa it’s extremely noisy like a rusty door creaking and therefore isn’t a comfortable sitting experience. We’re awaiting to see what has happened and what can be done about this so the saga continues sadly. The only reason this is not 0 is because of how amazing Sonia in the Birmingham store is. The sofa its self had the possibility to be amazing but arrived with a chaise cushion that was misshaped and so over stuffed it was twice the size of the adjacent cushions and continued to expand. You can’t sit on it as it’s so high up the front lifts and it’s very uncomfortable. Also the signature curve along the back of the sofa as advertised is not present and flat along the top sections. The delivery men questioned the same things as us and rang this through and I was told I’d be called in the hour and no one made contact. Instead I’ve had to call and email to chase. Still awaiting someone to call me. This sofa was almost £6k! Disgraceful.

1- Perfect sofa-bed: Bromley 3.5 seater. Super comfortable with great back suport as not too deep seats. We took the fiber-wraped foam seat cusions which seem to retain their shape well (after 3 weeks of use). The seat and back cushions remain attached to the frame as it unfolds and fit neatly underneath the open bed so no need to find them a space. We took the memory foam mattress with is extremely comfortable. With this size of sofa, the bed is king-size. The mattress had a strong smell initially but it only took one day of leaving the sofa open with good room ventilation to get rid of the smell. 2- great communication: we went to try out the sofas at the Birmingham shop and got some help from Sonia. We then placed the order online in order to get the Easyfundraising donation. Sonia was waiting for our order and followed-up with the expected delivery date. 3- Professional installation: we had ordered the sofa with armrests off to make sure that it would enter the room. The delivery staff put the sofa together.

Prompt and clear communication. Very helpful on the phone when I had questions during ordering process. Delivery was smooth and the delivery men were very polite, clean and helpful. Sofas are VERY comfy!

Drove an hour to get to the Hertford showroom, we was in there a good ten minutes and actually really liked one of the sofas however, not a sole to be seen. No salesperson, nobody to greet us and talk us through material etc, we could have actually brought a van and loaded up ourselves as whoever was in charge today had clearly gone home for lunch. We won’t waste our time again.

Absolutely delighted with my purchase, having been looked after by Callum in the Surrey Branch. He could not have been more helpful, keeping me up to date with our sofa's progress and when it arrived (ahead of schedule), it was even better than expected. I would buy from Darlings of Chelsea again, thank you Callum for everything.

I would like to express my disappointment regarding the height of the footstool, which does not match that of the sofa. This discrepancy has made it challenging to find appropriate legs for the footstool, and as a result, I am still experiencing discomfort while seated on the sofa.

Beware! They increase the RRP prices significantly during so called sales. I queried why the RRP of sofa I was looking at had gone up 20% in a month ahead of the January sales. Cost of materials apparently! Absolute joke and I would never buy from them now because I feel like I can’t trust them.

I really couldn't be more disappointed with our new sofas. We made the terrible mistake of ordering online rather than visiting a showroom as none were nearby. My husband was keen to qualify for the sale discount too, which added to the sense of pressure. Needn't have worried about that as I see there's an almost permanent 'sale' on - currently offering 35% discount. As for the sofas, I've rarely sat on anything more uncomfortable. Designed to look rather than feel good, it's almost impossible to find a comfortable position without needing loads of cushions to prop you up. And what on earth are the cushions stuffed with? When paying £6000 for two sofas, I expect luxury. Instead it sounds and feels as though we're sitting on shredded bubblewrap or something equally disconcertingly cheap. Avoid ordering anything from this firm unless you've seen it or sat on it in person.

Excellent service. Took time to talk through details with us and also allowed us time to check and recheck our options. The showroom was well stocked and selection of samples with large swatches was helpful. Callum was particularly helpful and didn't pressure us at all.

Service and advice at the Hertford store was first rate - Lucy couldn't have been more helpful. After sale updates on our order progress were frequent and professional and the sofa, when it arrived - ahead of schedule - is absolutely spot on. There is absolutely nothing to fault in the whole experience - and the pricing was good value too!

From the moment I went into the Darlings of Chelsea showroom, I knew I was going to be happy. First, there is such a huge range to choose from. Second, Sonia, the sales assistant, was really knowledgeable about the sofas, and honest too. She steered me away from more impractical choices (I had my dog with me, so she knew I had pets). My dog even got a treat! I ordered my sofas, Sonia kept me informed every step of the way about manufacture and delivery, and they finally arrived in time for Christmas as promised. Wonderful!

Great experience with Darlings of Chelsea! Communication throughout the process was excellent and the furniture we received is of exceptional quality. Although there were delays due to the Christmas period, the team kept us well informed, and the delays were expected. Overall, a great, smooth and well-managed experience.

Darlings of Chelsea called before Christmas 2024 to offer me a partial refund in exchange for me removing my 2* review. For this reason, I would be more cautious about the low percentage of bad reviews on the Darlings of Chelsea website. The customer service is appalling.
