Absolutely awful experience with this CV company. I regret every penny spent on their so-called "services." They promise a professionally crafted CV, but what I received was a poorly formatted, error-ridden document that looked like it was thrown together in five minutes. The writer clearly had no understanding of my industry, despite my detailed explanations. I message them they said they will give me a refund. Later they came back and so no refund. Communication was horrendous, with delayed responses and no effort to address my concerns. Their "customer service" is a joke—rude and unhelpful. To top it all off, the turnaround time was much longer than advertised. Save yourself the frustration and money; avoid this company at all costs! Run

I have used Top Cv twice now to enhance my professional cv which had contributed to my career. Both times I have had excellent service and interaction with the cv writer and would highly recommend their service if you need your cv to stand out.

I found the service was not very personalised and on a number of occasions expressed that I felt my CV had been written by AI. Silly mistakes likes using dollars Instead of using pounds when mentioning money even though in the U.K. Even after stating this the same mistake was make for my LinkedIn profile. final draft had a comment left in and I had to remove this, I complained about this but no response. I did not feel I got value for money or a personal service.

It is an absolute scam. I used their services and recommendation to revise my CV, Cover Letter and Linked-in. The revised CV doesn't my job search, it is full of mistakes. However the worst is that there is no customer service, I sent several complaints no answer and no follow-ups. Don't waste your money on this!

The initial process with the writer was fine and Hazel was helpful in answering my questions and re-drafting. I was happy with the final product. What I didn’t know was that obtaining the editable copies of the CV would be so difficult. They say you can access the final versions on career.io, and provide a link but it didn’t work for me. I eventually managed to set up an account and then found that I could only view the CV. When I tried to access the word files it told me I had to pay a subscription fee which seemed nuts considering I had paid a decent chunk for the CV and cover letter so expected to get the finished product. I have reached out on instant messenger, their contact form and the email address (multiple times!) and have been met with radio silence. It’s incredibly frustrating and has made the whole process useless as I don’t even have my finished CV. I’ve since asked for the finished files or I would like financial compensation but haven’t heard back and doubt I will. Feels like a scam. I would say avoid this service unless you want to retype your documents up yourself. Not even sure if it works yet!

After following up to see where my CV was as there was no sign of it on the scheduled date, I had to call and speak to John in customer service to tell me that my job had not been paired with a writer as yet. Errrr... I've been waiting for this to arrive so I can apply for jobs with confidence after an exhaustive search for 2 months prior to placing the order, with little success. The final draft of my CV finally came through and I gave my feedback to the writer as extremely disappointed. There were no other words to describe how horrendous I felt it looked. I told Vivek three times that the formatting needs adjusting, the opening profile is just garbled messages (that eerily looked as if i had been plugged into ChatGPT) and far too wordy. The next edit came back with my experience in operations management changed to a different amount of time, something that I didn't request to be changed. I then found that my A levels had been moved to 'Certifications' rather than sitting alongside Education where my GCSE's resided. There was a horrendous table that had been slapped in the middle of the document on the first page for some reason? It had clearly been rushed through. Skyy in customer service was extremely empathetic and after a telephone conversation where I asked for a new writer to be assigned as I had totally lost all confidence in Vivek's ability, she advised that she would look to re-assign and if a new writer could not be found, a refund request would be processed. Great I thought. Oh no... fast forward a few days to today where I picked up a message from John to state that after internal review, my documents met editorial standards and that a refund would not be processed. Errrrr.. excuse me??! Anyone with any bit of eyesight can clearly see that these final draft does not meet any kind of standard at all. I have also found that they will not under any circumstances offer a refund. If you are unhappy with what your hard earned money has paid for... tough! I asked for details of who to escalate to - I am waiting once again for a reply which i don't think I will get. They will just close the order/ticket down with no further comms like previously I suspect. A complete waste of everyone's time and money and the stress caused by dealing with this company (apart from Skyy) is giganturous. So upsetting and so unnecessary. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE AND SHOULD CERTAINLY NOT BE OFFERING ANY 'PROFESSIONAL CV WRITING' SERVICES and taking people's hard earned money for something that will never be received. A complete and utter scam.

Avoid under all circumstances. The "analysis" is AI-generated while suggesting that it has been conducted by an individual expert. I will discuss with my lawyer, what best to do to protect the public from this obvious scam. Völlig absurd. Es wird eine Analyse durch einen (namentlich genannten) reviewer suggeriert. Es handelt sich aber mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit um ein AI-basiertes tool. Ich werde überlegen, ob diese Praxis nicht vor dem Hintergrund des Verbraucherschutzes juristisch geprüft werden sollte.

I had a very disappointing experience with TopCV.com. It took them an excessively long time to draft my first CV, which caused significant delays. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and informed them that I no longer required their services, they refused to issue a refund. Instead, they insisted that I continue with their service despite my clear communication that I was no longer interested. Overall, their service was very poor, and I do not recommend them. Save your time and money and look elsewhere!
