I would definitely recommend TopCV. My resume got a full makeover and the language definitely helped highlight achievements instead of just duties or skills. The new format was clean and even, bringing continuity to the document and drawing the eyes to the areas you want it to. My writer Murphy integrated my feedback seamlessly and edited my words where I asked them to. It was an easy experience overall, and Murphy even finished the 3rd draft (turns out, 3 time's a charm) ahead of schedule.

Brilliant service and I had a superb writer helping me compile my new CV. For me personally the job market has changed in a fair while since I last was in it and I needed some help modernising my CV. I found topCV to be worth every penny and would recommend them.

They advertise on their website that they will make your CV pass the ATS but when you scan the CV they have done for you through their CV critique you will hear that your CV is poor and needs to be redone... it actually received the same score as my own original CV. None of the emails asking for clarification have been answered. The CV is a very simple format and 'smell like' GPT and unfortunately, when you upload it to Indeed or the like, it will not be read correctly and you will have to update the fields manually anyway.

A very impressive CV. What I liked in particular is that you have accurately described and presented all the skills that I have. In my CV I reported only the roles that I carried out, but those roles are far deeper than presented in my CV. The professional CV really brings my complex and diverse skills to the forefront.

I was lured to this company because of their analysis of my CV. I was really impressed by their write-up and thought I'd give this a shot, since it's been a while since I last looked for a job. A first draft of my CV came back days after I filled in the survey. My CV is now full of a keyword that just scream chat gpt: 'orchestrated', 'diverse markets', 'lead dynamic team'. It's also fully in En US and every other word is capitalised. Sincerely disappointed as I was really hoping it was worth the price - but I guess it depends on the people that they give your CV out to.

As soon as I started sending my CV I got positive results.

I opted for the expedited CV service (48-hour delivery). After 70+ hours with no updates, I contacted them and was told no one had been assigned to my request. I asked to cancel, but they said it would cost £50, despite not receiving any documents. I eventually got a full refund. If you face this issue, consider including something similar (slightly amended from original) in your complaint: Arguing that this service is "non-tangible" and "irrevocable" under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 is incorrect. Specifically: a. Nothing has been delivered to me (as per requirements of regulation), and this is not an exempt digital service. b. Despite paying for expedited service, no writer was assigned, indicating you had taken my money knowing you couldn't deliver. c. your terms and conditions expressly include the required 14-day cooling off period (which is a contradiction to your assertion that you are an exempt digital service). I was misled into paying for an undeliverable service. If I don't receive a full refund within 48 hours, I will report this to Trading Standards and file a Small Claims Court claim Good luck if you do decide to use them and hope you actually receive something from them!

Do not use TopCV. Although the actual tech writers maybe good, teh company policies & customer-centric policies directing the work are terrible. Examples - long turnaround times, you are not allowed to actually speak to teh Tech Writer, without paying more money, there is NO distinction between CV re-write and LinkedIn profile work. On the LinkedIn profile, there are a few basic, obvious inputs only, their work doesnt even follow the LinkedIn profile main categories. I have added this additional comment following TopCV's response to my comments. To TopCV - You have plenty of e-mails from me on this matter to your proposed e-mail address. Maybe contact "Rebecca" who can give you more details if you need them.. I suggest you read them.... If you want, I can put the full details that I have provided to you on this page for all to see.... I did forewarn you about this & you decided to do nothing....

Do not waste your money. Your results are dependent on luck on which writer they will find for you and their support will stop responding to your questions (1w+ since last response). Writer assigned to me was not knowledgeable of specifics of my profession or level of role I am looking for. The first draft arrived 40min before 1 week deadline for modifications closed. The draft was basically to apply modifications I made myself, and none of my questions answered. After complaints, I got another version but no good answers to my concerns and questions, after which their support stopped responding.

It was easy and fast to get the CV I wanted. The only criticism is that it wasn't that different from my own I did notice that the HR recruiting platforms can read easier though.

My CV writer Owais was completely useless. He couldn’t and wouldn’t even bother making the simplest adjustments I would constantly request him to make, after sending me a generic resume that lowered my chances of getting noticed from my previous CV. The next few drafts he provided had dates and descriptions all over the place. It’s hard to fathom these writers are professionals.
