Not what was expected, I was promised the earth that my revitalised CV would open doors that were being blocked. After receiving my rewrite, I applied for a further 47 jobs, and to my surprise, I received no invite to interview. I reached out to several of the companies I applied to and was faced with the reality...... 11 companies informed me that my CV was weak, the formatting and content did not portray my real life experience and was not conducive to mt vast experience and attributes. Do not use this service, it was a waste of my time and money, I've tried to reach out to then and to date, I have had no feedback, they take your money, then they leave you high and dry.........

The service is to “improve” a CV. Get better scores via Ai algorithm - it's the same! Zero replies from a person. No reply to E-mail, no calls back. Not concluded - final outcome and review to follow. So far 1/10 (update) - I had a VOIP call from "Cardiff" - wink - I still do not have a reviewed CV, no changes, and STILL not what has been asked. (Offshored Authors) - still 3/10

This service is slick in terms of the tech-stack it uses. Experience: The writer was friendly but the production of the CV and cover letter were not within a cultural context. There seemed to be a disconnect from the questionnaire that was completed and the writer's access to the information as we had to repeat a lot of the questions. Changes when requested were transactional and not helpful in terms of creating impact. The CV and letter are uninspiring and hardly likely to be picked from a pile. There was too much emphasis on ATS and not on building a compelling narrative. Whilst a good ATS score is helpful, what TopCV didn't do is understand that at senior level, it is more likely to be a headhunter or recruitment manager you are speaking to directly, so that clear narrative and success story is so much more important. The letter was uninteresting, lacking in detail and influence. Despite this, the language used was bombastic in places and not authentic for the country for which it was intended to be used. Comms: You get bombarded with comms on a daily basis, few of which are useful. The writer can take a while to acknowledge you. Worst is on the live chat, the person I was communicating with was un able to answer a question and there was no critical thinking. Outcomes: I got no positive invites to interview with the new CV and letter compared to applying for the same jobs with my old CV. Therefore, the whole experience was a waste of time and money. Advice to others: for entry level, or only a few years of experience, I would say it might be helpful. However, to more senior professionals, it is a better investment to work with someone that will really work with you to create something compelling.

£120 for a CV that gets nowhere. Have applied for 90+ jobs using this CV and have gotten absolutely nowhere with it. I experimented by creating a CV in Word in 15 minutes, creating a new job search account, applying for a role I was rejected from using this CV and you know what happened? I was invited to interview! Something fundamentally wrong if an "expert' writing your CV gets you zero interviews and you've paid over £100 for it but a basic CV created for free gets you more. Would absolutely not recommend paying to have your CV written by this company and instead write it yourself - you'll probably do it better! Update 12.03 - Per the reply from the company below, still not had a single response from anybody. Absolutely disgraceful.

Don't waste your time and money, they are good at marketing for themselves but at the level of writing CV and advice on the executive level they are awful.

Great service! Irene worked closely with me throughout the process! Any questions or changes i proposed, i was given expert advice on how best to incorporate these into the final drafts.

After ordering you have 7 days to make adjustments they send. Seems like plenty of time, however, they took 4 days to add in the amendments I had requested, which I requested each day. After all of this they ended up publishing my cv to an online cv template which didn't match at all, you have to resubmit all dates, skills etc. Overall I found this poor value for money.

Fast review and suggestion

Regrettably, it is clear the work produced was done using AI, as it lacked any real depth of meaning. Text was simply re-ordered, which meant that technical detail no longer made sense. A clever and slick setup, but it produced nothing that I could use without re-writing the narrative back into the original style and content that I had provided originally.
