I ordered two boxes from truckman after seeking advise from the company but the wrong boxes were sent out. I returned them but had an issue with my refund due to it not being processed. After much frustration Gary Hateley got in touch and refunded my money immediate followed with an apology. So impressed was I that I have since ordered a hard top. That level of customer service allowed the company to increase my original purchase of 350.00 to 2,000.00 with a few extra bits and their fitting service. Once the hardtop has been fitted, I will no doubt be reviewing Truckman again.

I rang Truckman to ask for advice about tool-chests for the back of my Navara, and was lucky enough to speak to Janna. She answered all my daft questions knowledgably, with patience and humor. She also happily emailed pdf fitting instructions to further inform my decision. Service doesn’t get any better. The chosen chest also arrived quickly. Thanks Janna.

I had a little issue with the brake light LED bar in the spoiler of the Truckman hood and they sent one out straight away with no quibbling. 1st class service and Sophie explained in detail how simple it is to swap over once it arrived. Wel done Truckman

Started out looking for replacement lock for my truckman canopy online.tried ordering online but couldnt because payment not accepted.Rang company direct and ordered product.Shipped to Ireland no problem.delay in postage package lost.No fault of truckman.Contacted customer service replacement sent out straight away.Thank you all in truckman.lock sorted and working perfect.😎👍👍

Just bought a used L200 with a truckman Grand canopy on the back. It's missing 2 x mushroom fittings on the rear windows. The item are around £4.80 each. Happy to pay that. Then get to the payment stage and find out truckman want £14 to send it to me?! It's 2 screws guys! I think truckman seriously need to reconsider their postage prices. Most offer 2nd class free delivery which I would happily do as not in a rush. This is daylight robbery.

DO NOT BUY A TRUCKMAN HARDTOP. I bought a truckman GLS for my xclass and have regretted it ever since. Had to have the rear door replaced as the lock mechanism stopped working. Then parked up one day and the rear glass window exploded. The struts on either side burst through the glass. I was stood next to it and the truck was stationary. I've owned many cars / trucks over the years nothing like this has ever happened. Its not normal. Truckman just copy snd past that rubbish about "glass is a fragile material" "windows can fail much later after being hit by a stone". They claim their glass is high quality. Thats nonsense. How often do car windscreens implode on the driveway outside your house when the car is stationary? Never. Its high quality glass. Truckman have a poor quality product thats why they wont cover it. Read the reviews this happens all the time. Its a fault. Dont buy a truckman hard top.

*Update* Thank you Truckman for fantastic service! Personally delivering and fitting a replacement canopy. My Isuzu D-Max came fitted with a Truckman top that I discovered didn't lock remotely, further investigation revealed molten wiring from an electrical short which caused locking issues with the vehicle and canopy. Repeated visits to my local Isuzu dealer over the course of 15 months didn't properly fix or resolve the issue, nor identify the source of the electrical issue ie whether it was in the vehicle or canopy. After hitting a roadblock, Truckman reached out and are now working to finally resolve the problem themselves. So far, so good! Thank you Truckman!

Poor build quality and paint looks like the wrong colour. I wouldn't buy again company seems uninterested in fixing problems.

Brilliant aftersales care from truckman. I had a couple of issues with my retrax roller top that I had fitted myself. I contacted customer services and they organised for me to bring my vehicle down to effect a repair and refit it themselves at no additional cost. Brilliant service on the day also. I could not recommend truckman highly enough.

I ordered some wind deflectors and a bonnet bra. Listed in the website as “in stock, usually delivered in 3-5 days”. Over a month later and two emails confirmed the items were on “back order” . I chased once more to be told they were still not in stock. I’d have left one star but to be fair upon request they processed my refund. It’s a shame, the products look good quality and competitively priced. It is however disingenuous to sell things online as “in stock” that clearly aren’t. I’d have bought a canopy too, but went to a competitor. All in all £1800 of lost orders !

I can only be positive about Truckman and their service. The item I ordered didn't arrive at the expected. A short email exchange and they had chased down the delivery agents who had lost the item at their depot. Fresh item sent and arrived quickly. No hassle just got the job done. Thanks.
