Bought stainless steel original from alligatorsonline - the 1. Misaligned blades with cutting base (For initial many uses plastic slices came out with chopped onions/tomatoes 2. Onions need chopping twice 3. The potato fingers came out curved - not straight 4. Probably because of (1), chopped onion/veggies are getting stuck in cutting base 5. Blade grids pop out because of shallow latch placement. It is a great idea, but not ideal for daily small-portion preparation given cleaning is more work, with misaligned state of the product. Would ideally return the product, but don't want the hassle or spend time to return it. Happy to provide any more information though to make it a success.

I have had very good follow up from this company and have changed my review to 100%. My product turned up to my door 2 days later. I have had their product for years and to be able to get spare parts is fantastic. Thanks for sharing he follow up and concern .

They do not reply or respond to emails, or our request for a refund. Terrible company/seller to deal with. You will lose your money!

Very happy with my purchase! It is very easy to use as it does not take much pressure to operate and chops vegetables evenly and cleanly. I also find it easy to clean. This is a great addition to the kitchen tool kit - wish I had discovered this product sooner! I would highly recommend!

The alligator is my favorite kitchen tool. It is essential for making nice little cubes out of onions, apples, avocados, kiwis and much more. I am, however, not too impressed by the quality of the collector. This had to be replaced several times on the previous chopper, and now for the first time on the upgraded version (with larger collector). The stainless steel chopper itself is a really solid piece of equipment, but one should always keep a spare collector to guarantee continuous operation. I’m also hoping that the R&D department is on the case to further improve the collector durability, so that the next review collects all five stars :)

Great service and product! Bought replacement parts (cutter and plastic housing) for my 20 year old stainless steel Alligator. Works great and arrived from Germany in about 2 weeks which is not bad considering everything that is happening with supply chains, etc.
