Oldham site. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place it’s like stepping back in time to the worst of everything about a car sales site. I recently called in after having my car valued for sale by bmw. HPL site gave. Valuation of £300 more than bmw so I thought that’s £300 better in my pocket. So I made arrangements to call in I was told the valuation would only change if there were serious faults. BMW had valued it similarly so I was confident it would be fine. They came up with a valuation of £3600 less than their own website, because “there are a lot of them about” complete time wasters. I’ve just looked on bmw website and there are currently 3 for sale within 200 miles. Like I said the absolute worst of everything in a car site Avoid like the plague. There are plenty of car sales sites who will treat you with respect **update I have just sold my car for £45500, £3500 more than these clowns offered, the buying dealer confirmed to me that is is a rare car and in demand. The HpL clowns said “we have had so many in there are a lot about” says it all really, keep away. They are definitely not honest.

I enquired about a car online .hpl motors contacted me the next morning. Simon was the salesman. He was very informative and did a walk round video of the car . I agreed to travel to the Preston branch to view the car .everything I asked for before viewing was sorted . Service and mot etc . The car was better than explained on the phone .I sorted the paperwork and was very pleased with the amazing part exchange price I got for my car . I drove the new car away with a smile and will definitely return again

Bought a Clio from HPL. A couple of cosmetic issues such as scuffed alloys were all repaired and rectified before we picked the car up. All done at no extra cost. Great service and good value . No pushy sales. Rob C was the sales rep and did a good job. I liked that the cars were all in size/price order meaning you’re not wandering around looking for what you are after. All in a all I found HPL to be slick and efficient.

Recently bought a car from Brian at the Preston branch. On arrival we were greeted and told how the cars were laid out to minimise our search we were offered a coffee and an umbrella and left to look at our leisure. Once we found a few cars we liked we were given the keys and able to look around freely. I then test drove a car I liked but it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for so Brian went through similar cars at the other branches. I was then able to have a car transferred from Oldham the next day which I then went to look at and test drive. The car was given a full check over and clean before being picked up 2 days later. A great experience
