United Kingdom | 05 July 2022***PLEASE READ THIS**** Had get a car from here took is back for making a knocking but got made out like they did not hear anything and then after 5 mouth had to put a clutch it it to the expensive off £700 pound and after they fixed it due to who had done this job dint not look over anything that they did the brake line had poped off due to him trying to get something out of the engine but they did and then for the inconvenience try to offer a free service or a valet please people read the and bring this to more people attention avoid the please do not get a car from here they are just about making move don’t put people first because they have targets to.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2022After finding what I thought was the perfect car for sale on Autotrader, I contacted HPL Oldham branch to enquire further, have to say my initial chat with a member of the sales team was pleasant and I was assured the Car had been fully checked (as stated on the HPL website, leaving me confident to believe this was be a good company to deal with I visited the HPL Oldham branch the following day to view the car and take it for a Test Drive. On inspection I found several marks on the paint work but was assured this would be rectified prior to sale. Again leaving me with little cause for concern Test drive went well although a little short (5-10 minutes) and I decided this was the right car for me and went inside to start the sale process. It was at this point things didn’t go quite so well I was surprised to be informed that HPL only offered ONE months warranty (most dealerships offer 3 months as standard) but as the car had passed their own (128 Point Inspection) this wasn’t an immediate concern to me. At this point I was offered to purchase a Care Package which would extend the warranty by 12 months and also include a free MOT, this sounded reasonable so I agreed to buy it purchase this as an extra Upon asking how much MOT was left to run on the Car I was told 6 months, I asked if they could put a fresh MOT on it as I wanted the additional peace of mind that the car was in a roadworthy condition, initially the manager said NO but then changed his mind because I was purchasing the Care Package which came with a free MOT. Feeling somewhat happy and I was asked to put a small deposit down to take the car off sale As I had arranged finance to purchase the vehicle myself prior to visiting HPL, there was little for HPL to do apart from sorting the MOT and the paintwork I gave the finance company the go ahead to proceed and they quickly requested an invoice from the dealership. On receipt of the invoice the finance company found an additional charge of £299 added (this was HPL’s fee for me obtaining my own finance and them doing absolutely nothing) I contacted the Oldham branch immediately and spoke to the salesperson I had been dealing with to be informed that he had only just been informed of this charge himself and that’s why I hadn’t been previously informed The dealership would not drop the fee, which left me somewhat concerned. After hearing this I decided to check on the GOV.UK website to see if the car had been MOT’d as agreed, I found it had but had failed on a suspension component which left me even more concerned as one of the first items on their (128 Point Inspection) is Suspension I immediately contacted the finance company and instructed them to stop the purchase, 10 minutes later the salesperson rang to say he’d spoken to his manager and they would now drop the £299 fee for finance issue, I said No thank you as I’ve changed my mind, when I informed the salesperson of the MOT he seemed surprised that I knew it had failed even asking me just how I found out this information and said the 128 point inspection had not yet been carried out (even tho HPL’s website said it had been carried out) Another cause for concern I found was on the website the car was stated to have 68,000 miles yet the MOT showed 70,000 miles, I have to admit I did not check the mileage on the test drive (possibly due to the very short test drive) I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from HPL to throughly check out the vehicle and the company themselves and to not simply take HPL’s word for it I still feel very misled about the whole process and angry that I had been out on a test drive in a vehicle that was not roadworthy and I lost my small deposit as of course (it’s non refundable) I would not recommend this dealership to anyone

She answered all our questions , was very knowledgeable and took good care of us. We picked a car and she promised to have the car tested , valeted and treated inside and out with Supagard and ready to collect today at 1-30 pm. We part exchanged our car and Kayleigh took us through the process of log books , taxing the new car and finally giving us a shiny well valeted car in next to no time.I will definitely be using HPL again in the future. United Kingdom | 30 June 2022Just bought a Kia Sportage at hpl Preston first class service from sales man Dan from start to finish couple of issues on the car which were agreed would be sorted when I arrived to pick up my car and as promised they were had to return for a small issue which wasn’t agreed to be looked at at point of sale but again Dan sorted this issue out for me after sales care just as good as sales would highly recommend I most definitely will return
