HPL Preston - Brilliant! I can honestly say this was my best ever experience buying a car (and there have been a few) Sean Barnes was exceptional. I think what impressed me most was the fact that the original car was going to buy turned out to have a problem when it was being serviced, prior to picking it up. Sean called to say that they weren’t prepared to sell it to me, as it could have caused me problems further down the line. It was disappointing at the time, however they sourced an alternative car, almost identical to the first one, but without the issues, within a week. We really appreciated their honesty, and efforts to find an alternative! I would recommend HPL to anyone - they definitely go the extra mile! Thank You to everyone at the Preston branch in particular - even the coffee is good!

We recently bought our 4th car, a VW Tiguan allspace from HPL Oldham. From start to finish, the customer service from Andy H was outstanding, everything ran smoothly and the whole process was easy from start to finish. Would definitely recommend HPL if you are looking for a new car and we will definitely be return to Andy H for our next car in the future.

Avoid like the plague. I wasted hours of my time contacting this branch to register an interest in one of their vehicles, reviewing the specs and a personalised video that was sent. I asked if it was advised to reserve the vehicle so not to lose it to another sale and was encouraged to pay the £149.99 to do this (which I did on a Friday at 16:28). After test driving a similar vehicle on the Saturday evening I called on Sunday morning to confirm my wish to purchase and was told the salesperson dealing would be back on Monday. Monday morning arrives and I chase again to be told it has been sold. I asked how that can be as I'd reserved it and told had them I wish to purchase it on Sunday. Was told they would speak to the Director Jonathan Herman. Received a call back in the early afternoon sales person was sorry but essentially "tough", no comms from the Director or even an apology. For a company claiming to be "honest" why were they not honest with the other customer to explain it was reserved and they would get back to them if it was confirmed I did not want to purchase (even though I had already confirmed this on the Sunday). Not honest, quick sale rather than following their policies, customer service be damned. No integrity. All shirt and no trousers. Conclusion: HPL don't care about the customer, only a quick buck. Reservation not worth the paper it isn't written on.

Alan did a good job of explaining all the features of the car on the test drive and all the costs involved in the purchase and was not pushy at all. All staff smiley and happy in their job !

Purchased my 2nd car from HPL motors yesterday. I returned to HPL after an excellent experience purchasing my previous car with them in 2018. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and are not pushy. They're very helpful and tailor everything to suit your needs. Lee was the sales advisor who dealt with my purchase, and he was very helpful and friendly throughout. He gave good advice and was able to answer all questions I had about the purchase. I would definitely come back again.
