Happy with the functionality however disappointed with the frequency that it needs recharging (don’t get 2 days out of one charge). It also takes a good few mins to pick up a signal when starting walks but that could be down to the area where I live.

Ordering was easy and delivery very quick. Unfortunately we live in a very poor signal area and even after speaking to customer service we could not get the tracking level we required. We packed up the pit pat and returned it free of charge. The day it was received by pit pat the money was refunded into our bank account the same day. I know the item wasn’t suitable for us but in every other respect our experience with pit pat has been excellent.

Unfortunately PitPat hasn’t managed to meet our needs.I brought the unit after loosing our rescue Spaniel for 10 hrs after chasing deer. Some times it works fine but on a number of our walks I have 4G or 5G signal at times I have been unable to track my dog and only get busy revolving circle sign on my phone for the entire walk. The tracker is fully charged and been left outside prior the walk to find a GPS satellite signal.I also restarted my phone to try and get a reading but no luck. My dog is also fitted with a tag and my phone shows its position when I am get a good phone signal. I will continue to test the unit for few more days before returning but for my area of Southern UK it doesn’t give what I need.

I have had this tracker since April 2024 And boy am I glad! My dog ran off when she was spooked by another dog. She ran off out the park into a maze of streets and houses, main roads etc: 3 hours later thanks to the pitpat tracker I found her safe and sound . Top marks .

I can't recommend the PitPat dog tracker enough! When my adventurous Westie, Luna, decided to chase deer and got lost for two hours, I decided to purchase the tracker. The insights it provides are fascinating, and it gives me such peace of mind. Our first tracker had a charging issue, but the customer service team was outstanding—funny emails full of dog puns, incredibly understanding, and no quibbles about replacing it. They even sent a little gift of biscuits, which was such a thoughtful touch. I've been raving about PitPat to all my friends and family—it’s a must-have for any dog owner!

Would have loved to give this 5 stars as it sounds such a great product and uses satellites. I bought this a few months ago and wanted to give it a chance. It did not work at all for us, despite 4G and 5G took ages to connect, when it did it was slow to update the position of the dog. Sometimes didn`t connect at all which was most of the time despite going to different places. Tried everything, put it on "urgent" find my dog in settings and uninstalled and re-installed app, all to no avail. The battery only lasts a couple of days before re-charging. I got an Apple air tag just to see if it was just my ineptitude, the air tag worked perfectly and doesn`t need to be charged, it cost a fraction of the Pitpat and there are no subscription charges. An air tag works miles away, even in another county as long as there are devices nearby to pick up the signal (not necessarily yours) in the vicinity. I will be using a back up tracker, but sadly can`t use the PitPat.

So easy to set up. Clear instructions mean I could follow them. My dog moves very fast off the lead and if he did go off track. I ow feel I would be able to follow and catch up.

Product is poor compared to other brands. Slow to start tracking, poor coverage even in a suburban park, no option to geofence ( if the dog breaks out of your garden you get an alert) , no indication of speed ( if the dog was picked up and put in a car). Used once and sent back. First trial was back to back with our current tracker unit which was far quicker to respond when called, the info given was correct and not lagging minutes behind unlike the PitPat. It would have had us looking for our dog 100’s of Metres away from where he actually was. Will continue with my Tractive and pay the Subscription worth it for piece of mind.

Battery doesn’t seem to last as along as other brands, goes about 5 days, also even light tree cover seems to hamper gps connection, probably similar to other gps based units, but suspect it will be even worse in summer when trees are in leaf

Does what it says Sometimes slow to track. I have two bought 14 months ago. Battery on one goes down faster than other even without using the tracking.

Nice piece of kit. Unfortunately due to our lack of mobile signal it was not suitable for us. Returned using a PitPat issued returns label and we were issued a full refund straight away. Excellent service we can recommend this company

The first PitPat device was faulty (wouldn't hold its charge) and when we contacted them, they immediately sent out a replacement. Their agent was very helpful, professional and courteous. Highly recommended with 5 stars all the way!

Excellent customer service. I managed to loose my tracker within 2 days and pitpat replaced it for me and explained how to update my account to work with the new tracker. They were very friendly, understanding and competent.
