Love my doggy's new GPS pit pat. It would only be better if it could draw our route on a map as well as just locate him.

Edit: Sine my original review Pitpat customer service gave been supportive and helped me to change settings in the app. This means that it does now pick up on some running. However it only does it in 5 minute intervals - such much running around is still missed. I’ve upped the review to 3 stars as it does give some info now but still very inaccurate. Original review: The activity monitor detects when my dog is active but even when off lead and running around it still says 0minutes of running. So I can’t really compare activity when on lead walking or when off lead running.

This is a brilliant app, just like having a Fitbit for my I get all the same sort of info. I can see how much she’s slept ( much more than me!) how much she’s walked, run and how many calories burnt. It’s really interesting to see all this info and find out how much she’s walking against my mileage.

If anything happens that might impair the service from the device, PitPat replace any possibly faulty parts free of charge and very promptly. There are also so many other perks to using the company, like free 24 hour video conferencing with a qualified vet, help with dietary plans, advice on exercise regimes, etc etc etc. They have given my dog and myself freedom to take off the lead, allowing me to track my dogs every move in Give or take a few seconds) real time. Don’t know how I managed before PitPat came into our lives

Have returned my gps PitPat because battery would not hold its charge. I was having to recharge battery twice a day, if left on overnight it had already depleted by the time of the afternoon walk. I bought this having used one for two years without any problems so I can only presume that the new unit is not up to the same standard. Apart from a reply to my complaint suggesting changing the settings I was offered no further support.

Had a problem connecting it all but was because the battery needed charging. Even though it was New Year it was explained that it would be dealt with after the holidays. Good service and works well

The fact that it does everything that it advertised and stated within the instructions. Further the transmitter which attaches to the Collar feels very robust and securely attaches to same. My advice to your company would be continue with your commitment in using the latest technologies. I could not be more pleased with your product.

I expected better with the price of this product , Live tracking option (looking for satellite), is slow and most time’s, gave a reply satellite not found , thought it might be my location (North Wales). Christmas spent at Uxbridge gave the same result The help centre was unresponsive to queries, 4 tries requesting my account removal which received the automated reply of e-mail sent & 4 times failed to arrive I tried to resolve this issue by using the contact number shown on the PitPat web site, This number also fails to connect, with no dial tone. Not impressed with the Tracker Less impressed with customer services

I would love to say this works but 99% it doesn’t even connect and when it does it says my dog is a field away when she’s walking beside me! It doesn’t even pick up when she’s in doors!!!

Our PitPat tracker arrived shortly after ordering, despite the Christmas break. The instructions with the tracker were clear, and it was easy to download and install the PitPat application. The App itself is very user friendly, and the activity monitoring is addictive. We did a tracking test and the results were impressive. Very pleased with our purchase

Excellent, friendly advice and service when I emailed about an issue with the PitPat device. Happy customer as the issue has been resolved and our dog can run free again!

The tracker gives a location but it is way too slow for the intended use and very disappointing. Takes on average 10 minutes to start which is absolutely ridiculous. It does not refresh often enough to track the exact location, often it gives details from 2-3 minutes ago. For what I've paid for it I wouldn't say I am happy with the performance. Instead of spending resources creating functions like badges, the performance of the tracking should be improved. I also emailed customer services to let them know of tracking taking so long to start and never had a reply...

Good bit of kit. Nice and small on the harness. I tend to put tracking on anytime we go walking as sometimes it can take a while for it to pick up satellite signals and wouldn't want to lose time waiting if my dog ran off. Tracks very well and is worth the price for peace of mind. Good stuff

Returned after 7 days use absolute waste of money. Never picked up on my dogs location, my dog could have been miles away. Gone back to my Tractive
