About PitPat

PitPat is a pet wellness company that creates products and services to support and inspire pet parents to keep their dogs, happy, healthy and safe. PitPat began because we recognised that our relationship with dogs has changed. The traditional animal-owner relationship does not apply. Dogs are no longer possessions but a member of the family and we’re no longer owners but pet parents. Naturally, we want to keep them happy, healthy and safe by giving them the best care possible. But with so much to consider and so much conflicting and contradictory advice, pet parents are overwhelmed. That’s where PitPat comes in. We take away the guesswork and give pet parents the confidence to know they’re doing the right thing for their dog. Our connected world means we’re there for pet parents through every step of their dog’s life. We're removing the guesswork with propositions that inform, inspire and support pet parents to make better, more individual choices, that improve the lives of not only their pets but all pets. Reliable GPS tracking with no subscription Food that’s good for you, good for your dog and good for the planet Uncomplicated Insurance that rewards healthy dogs Affordable activity monitoring to keep your dog healthy So don’t worry pet parents, we got you! What's the bigger picture? Well, one day, we see a future where having a little device on your dog’s collar that helps you look after them better will be the norm. We see a world where pet care is active not passive, proactive not reactive and individual not general. Need more convincing? I want to love the Pitpat - my dog is very comfortable wearing it, I find the app great, and the tracking is great, once you get through the short time delay, which is inherent in the way it works and I'm totally fine with. However, I've found the battery life to be absolutely terrible. I took it off charge last night at 85%, and this morning it's at 24% already so is likely to be dead in a few hours. I used to live in an area advertised as poor coverage on their website, but now live in a different area and the battery life is just as bad. I think I would just rather pay a subscription and have peace of mind, rather than having to constantly worry about charging just before a walk, or finding that it's dead and having no tracking. My advice would be that, if you live in a poor signal area, this really isn't for you.

Out of the 6 times I've walked my dog, I've only had location found once. The pitpat never wants to contact the satellite s so in my opinion I've wasted 120 pound. I will not recommend this pitpat to friends. Unless you live an an open space with good all round clear sky's your wasting your money

Great tracking your dog, but has lost connection a few times, which can be annoying. Easy to attach to collar or harness and remove for recharging. Reassuring knowing it will help when you have a dog with strong prey drive! Love that there is no ongoing subscription.

It takes a long time to connect to the pitpat. The battery only lasts about 2 days before needing to be charged

It’s great to know no matter where my dog gets to. I can find her so reassuring worth every penny I can’t believe I’ve left it this long.

Superb, we always wondered how far our dog had walked if we’d walked 4 or 5 miles, well now we know. Can’t fault it, had it just over a week, my dog has done nearly 60 miles (he’s a worker). Had it in activity mode so thought I’d be charging every 3 or 4 days but just checked and it’s still on 61%. Haven’t delved into the food analysis yet but more than happy so far with all the information you get on the app. Total peace of mind that your dog is wearing a tracker and all the info on top of that, got it on a Black Friday deal so worth every penny, especially with no additional monthly tracker fees. Definitely recommended. 10/10.

Too slow to locate my dog. Not impressed. The accuracy of the activity is also woefully inaccurate .

After losing Banjo for 2 hours in deep woods one evening, it was clear that he had got caught in undergrowth, and after 2 hours managed to wiggle out of his collar, and came back to us, terrified. We bought the Pitpat so that we could keep track of where he might get to. 2 weeks later, again in woods, he got scent of a deer, and was away. Only this time I could keep track of where he was, and where he was heading, and get him back over a mile away from where he went after the deer. Stress levels much reduced.

Easy to use app and access, find a location and start/end walk great as well as accurate stats. Battery lasts 7-10 days not weeks as still works when not walking if on dog collar. Good notification reminder and easy to recharge unit in 1 hour, with lights to show charging and when fully charged. Highly recommend if very active dog like our black Labrador, or a collie etc .
