About PitPat

PitPat is a pet wellness company that creates products and services to support and inspire pet parents to keep their dogs, happy, healthy and safe. PitPat began because we recognised that our relationship with dogs has changed. The traditional animal-owner relationship does not apply. Dogs are no longer possessions but a member of the family and we’re no longer owners but pet parents. Naturally, we want to keep them happy, healthy and safe by giving them the best care possible. But with so much to consider and so much conflicting and contradictory advice, pet parents are overwhelmed. That’s where PitPat comes in. We take away the guesswork and give pet parents the confidence to know they’re doing the right thing for their dog. Our connected world means we’re there for pet parents through every step of their dog’s life. We're removing the guesswork with propositions that inform, inspire and support pet parents to make better, more individual choices, that improve the lives of not only their pets but all pets. Reliable GPS tracking with no subscription Food that’s good for you, good for your dog and good for the planet Uncomplicated Insurance that rewards healthy dogs Affordable activity monitoring to keep your dog healthy So don’t worry pet parents, we got you! What's the bigger picture? Well, one day, we see a future where having a little device on your dog’s collar that helps you look after them better will be the norm. We see a world where pet care is active not passive, proactive not reactive and individual not general. Need more convincing? The population-level insights we’re gathering from the hundreds of thousands of dogs that have already joined us are going to completely revolutionise pet care. So having a PitPat doesn’t just benefit your dog but all dogs!

Very quick to receive the PitPat, great tracker. It’s a shame you have to remove the Velcro from the PitPat for charging, it would be better if you could charge from the top as I feel the Velcro will loose its stickiness having to keep removing it and potentially loose the PitPat. (Unless there is another way to charge)

I purchased two pitpats for my cocker spaniels. They don’t locate them in rural areas which is where we live so absolutely no use to us at all. Contacted PitPat and they were really prompt in allowing me to send them back and get a refund. Can’t fault there customer service but the product was not great for us

The device arrived promptly and worked right away. Set up was simple however the only reason I’d not give 5 stars is the GPS isn’t very accurate. If we lost the dog I’m not sure we could use it to find him as it’s often completely out.

We bought this as we have a 3 year old Black Labrador Retriever who is fully intact who we like to run off the lead. He’s normally a good lad who recalls well, but that’s until he gets a sniff of a receptive Lady Dog when it is incredibly difficult to break from his ‘desire’ to locate her. As we live rurally, we wanted something that would help us track him. When the system works, it’s very good, however there are a few issues if you live in an area like us with a less than great mobile signal. The device tracks by GPS, which is great, but the instructions to the device to do this are sent by mobile signal which means there can be a delay in the device starting to track. One tip is, when you take the Dog out on a walk, always go to the app and ‘Start A Walk’ as this pre-activates the device to track & use GPS and is ready when you ask it to ‘track my Dog’ The other issue is, with a weak mobile signal, (like in the House), the device is waking up & sending data to the Pit Pat server every 10 minutes or so, and if the mobile signal is weak, it keeps hunting for the signal which uses up battery power. At the moment, we are having to charge it every night but I expect it would be a lot less often in a strong mobile signal area. Those issues aside, it does everything it says it will and is required to do.

It’s a great little device and interesting to see how much distance your dog covers in a day. Only 1 thing I would suggest improving on the app is the graph, it would be great if it was bigger

Quite impressed, I wanted a tracker without a monthly subscription. Which this satisfies that, regarding tracking it earl days but up to now I’m very impressed. ☺️

I kept contacting you to get the straps for Bonnie’s tracker. It took me weeks now. I’ve actually got this strap and put it on. You’re telling me that the tracker is not working so I’m not very happy with you or your company Ann Wentworth.
