Excellent Service and back up. The delivery was very good, clear instructions in the box and easy to set up. I was split between a 4 or 5*. The app can be a bit 'laggy' whilst waiting for it to open and get to the home page. The start your walk also takes a bit of getting used to as it takes time to connect to a satellite. Both of these issues you get used to by opening up the app prior to leaving the house. The accuracy is good but connects to the satellite every 10 seconds so updates, when your dog is missing, seems an age. I raised this with the company who were very supportive giving instructions on how to improve and quicken the 'find my dog' process. Basically you can change the time that it connects with the satellite to give quicker updates, but the drawback is that it drains the battery quicker. The unit is very light and attached with velcro. Originally this was a concern but my 1 year springer spaniel has given it several good tests and its rigidity passes with flying colours. One thing to remember, and applies to any system, is that the tracker is only as good as your mobile phone signal. For the price, I would recommend. I am still within the trial period but as it stands the piece of mind it gives you is worth the money. There is no ongoing subscription fee unless you take out the 'Life' product for just under £4 a month which covers breakdown, accidental loss, replacement velcro. Customer Service is excellent.

Inherent software problem which cases Pit-Pats to stop working for no absolutely no reason. This has happened to both mine and my Mum’s devices. Pit-Pat won’t replace as just outside the 12 month warranty. Very disappointing customer support and not feasible to keep buying a new device every 18 months. Embarrassingly I had been recommending this product to all my clients before this experience.

poorly packaged (unsealed) but customer services were very good. The app does not show a map but 2 dots (you and the dog) with no legend to show distance, terrain or direction. Of limited use and expensive for the value of the information. its an idea that needs further development to work well.

Wanted a tracker that wouldn't cost the earth to use, PitPat is ideal as there are no subscriptions required once you have bought the product. Set up is easy and the app is well thought out and easy to use. Using the locate my dog function can take a couple of minutes to talk to the satellites, but this is because it saves battery communicating with the satellites when you don't need to. This results in great battery life and after 2 weeks it still shows 69%. I would recommend this product if you want to save money on subscriptions and have longer battery life.

Very good product. We recently lost one of our dogs for almost 4 hours, finally finding her 3-4 miles from where she started. We finally found her in a wood that someone on social media had suggested they'd seen a dog heading towards. That night we bought a PitPat tracker for each dog. One a black lab, the other a miniature dachshund. The trackers came really quickly (2 days from ordering) and after a quick charge had since been on their collars for every walk. Great peace of mind. We've tried it out and the functionality is very easy. There's an app to download that is simple to set up for 2 dogs and also to share across the various household members and a friend that walks the dogs. Wish we'd bought them sooner. The cost is worth it and I like that there's no monthly charge. Yet to see how well the battery lasts between charges but it has been a week and they're still over 50%. If you leave them on overnight, it also gives you an indication of how much they wander around in the night. Would recommend.

I have purchased the Pit Pat tracked and all be it it will locate your dog this is all it will do unless you pay a subscription. I used to have Paw Fit and there was a subscription charge of £90 for 2 years but with this it recorded your walks and mileage. It also had a flashing light that you could activate at night to help you find the dog as well as an option to record a message. If you won’t the above Pawfit extra on Pit Pat it will cost you a lot more. Be sure to consider what it is you need from a tracked. Overall I could only give this 7 out of 10 overall. Regards Laurence

Pit pat is a fantastic device to track your pet with real-time GPS. Simple to use app and no subscription. We don't allow the escaper off lead often but we can rest easy when we do..we can see where he's gone.

Very good product, delivered swiftly and well packaged. The unit itself is neat and attached securely with velcro, which I must admit I was concerned about, but it seems pretty good so far. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that the battery level icon is on the location screen, not on the activity or summary screen, which I think would be better to see at a glance. Great piece of kit so far I would recommend.
