I am a Leica M11 camera owner and purchased a used Leica 90mm f2 lens from your company and stupidly assumed it was a 6 bit lens when in actual fact it wasn’t. I expected a hassle when I wanted to return it but the staff were brilliant and made the whole returning process simple and stress free. I can highly recommend the staff and the company.

Making my first purchase of an Astro telescope was a little daunting. Internet web sites were helpful, but the advice impersonal and at times confusing. Came across Clifton Cameras website which carried the range of telescopes I was interested in and noting their ‘commitment to providing excellence service’, decided to visit the store. Not a rash decision as I live 200 miles away from Cheltenham, but the journey was worth it. They certainly showed they were worthy of their acknowledged reputation. The ‘no rush’ atmosphere in the shop combined with the excellent knowledge and advice I received from the sales assistant (Flinn) was 5*. Having helped with the identification of my planned usage he helped me get a telescope that met my current needs. Contacting the store for after sales support was easy and on each occasion without too much fuss I was able to speak with Flinn. Whilst in the store I observed other customers making enquiries/purchases, but what was interesting was all the staff I saw were focused on identifying the customer’s need and matching a product to them. A pleasant change from the usual hard sell. Without doubt I will be making use of Clifton Cameras again. An honest customer focused business

We purchased a Celestron StarSense Explorer 114 from Clifton cameras. During assembly I dropped a part which rolled away behind a curtain. The Clifton team identified which part was missing by examining another system they had in stock - they were extremely patient whilst i searched the room and eventually found it. I can thoroughly recommend this company which went above and beyond to resolve the matter - they were going to order a replacement if I could not find it. Excellent

My Sigma 500mm F4 DG OS HSM Sports lens auto focus stopped working after 16 months from new. I took the lens back to Clifton Cameras first thing on a Saturday morning. I was greeted with a warm welcome and a cup of tea. I explained the problem with my lens they immediately run a couple of test to confirm it did not sound or work correctly. A warranty return was action and despatch to Sigma UK on the Monday for a full diagnostics and repair. Collected my lens the following week.

Superb service, I had a minor issue when my new Nikon camera arrived with an EU adapter, rather than a UK plug. The issue was promptly resolved with the minimum of fuss. I’d happily use Clifton Cameras again, highly recommended.

Had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Simon while purchasing a discontinued product today.
