Switching was easy, and I’ve saved £100-200 per year. Towards the end of 2018 I received notification that the direct debit payment would change to a winter rate and a summer rate, but after concerns raised by customers this decision was thankfully reversed. During this time the communication from the company was poor, with numerous e-mails sent to correct mistakes. Other than that I’ve had no problem.

They do say "hope to reply in 24hrs" when you contact them. I emailed wednesday morning, its now Friday evening and still no response. so slow fo respond when you have a query! best to under promise over deliver team!!

United Kingdom | 06 September 2019Don't come and read the meter, ever. When I complain about the accuracy of the meter they promise to look into it, but that is the last I hear from them. Unilaterally change my direct debit amount without evidence of it being incorrect. I could go on, but let's just say they are apathetic.

United Kingdom | 06 September 2019I joined because of the economy 7 tariff. This tariff has gone up in the 18 months I have been with Economy Seven Energy but is still cheaper than alternatives. The company did try to impose a 'Seasonal Variation' approach to monthly payments but this was opposed by many customers be and, to their credit, the company listened to their customers and allowed a fixed payments to continue. I am presently very happy with their service.

Come on OTM - we are now over a year in with this issue!!!

United Kingdom | 06 September 2019Economy seven put up it's prices just after I joined them and then decided to introduce a change whereby you would have to have paid more money during the winter and less during the summer, fortunately customer opinion put a stop to that.

United Kingdom | 05 September 2019Switching was ok it all flowed, then I moved and setting up a new account was a struggle I was forever chasing people. I find it annoying that no one reminds me to submit readings or anyone comes to do them but that's just me and my rubbish memory. The website is very basic but maybe that keeps costs down.
