United Kingdom | 12 November 2014Absolute scam - I sent the phone which had a few scratches but was in otherwise perfect working order, they originally offered £155 but reduced that to £75 due to scratches and dead pixels on screen - there was none of this on the phone! Absolute scam - also took a week for them to say they received it despite me sending by courier. Avoid.

United Kingdom | 11 November 2014Terrible company, DO NOT USE! They quote above the odds, then take forever to process your order, only to tell you that the goods are worth about half what they quoted. Poor customer serivces, all in all a complete waste of time.

United Kingdom | 05 November 2014I used them simply because they were quoting a sale price of double that of any other company. I was half expecting a reduced offer but despite taking a few days to turn things round, a cheque arrived in the post for the original figure. I would certainly use them again - why not?

United Kingdom | 05 November 20148 days from phone received to payment reaching my account, maybe best if FoneHub didn't make promises they can't keep, but overall very pleased and happy with transaction and will use again above the others.

United Kingdom | 31 October 2014like many on this revue site, I was taken in by the reasonable offer for my iPhone plus the 100% price guarantee. I was offered £75 and several days after they received my phone I received a revised offer of £50 because 'The LCD screen is damaged with scuff marks over it, beyond normal wear and tear' which is an absolute lie, that phone was in very good order when I packaged in double wrap of bubble wrap. This seems to be a common thread with some of the low ratings on this site. Unfortunately for me I failed to look at reviews as I was 'sold' on their website. I have accepted their offer purely because I can't be bothered with the hassle, which I guess it is something they rely on. Ryan please don't insult our intelligence by post your stock reply.

United Kingdom | 29 October 2014Very good price for my mobile, £5 more than nearest rival. The service was rather slow 13 days from the time I placed the order on the Internet until the money was in my bank. I had to email them to get a move on. I was not in a great hurry for the money, so it was no big deal. Would I use them again? Yes if the price was right.

United Kingdom | 28 October 2014Sold 3 phones with them now had no problems this time got money in bank under 5 days thanks fonehub

United Kingdom | 27 October 2014My phone was received on 20 August by Fone Hub, who have since disputed receiving it as delivery was before 10am. I've liaised with the courier and now have confirmation that 3 other deliveries from different people have been made to Fone Hub before 10am also. Fone Hub has denied access to their CCTV without a valid reason. Further a signed for letter sent to their director at the Raven address was signed for at 08.06am. All in all, something isn't right with this company and I intend to get what they owe me or the phone back. I've given the, until 30 October to put this right and then I'm taking Police advice, HMCS and Trading Standards. Ryan - by all means reply to this!

United Kingdom | 23 October 2014After all the horror stories you read about these companies I was pleasantly surprised to receive the exact amount quoted - no fuss.

United Kingdom | 20 October 2014Unfortunately I cannot give less than one star. My phone was received 17 days ago, I understand there was a lock on the phone which I gave to them within hours of receiving the email, then again there was an issue with icloud which I responded to them immediately. That was 1 week ago and they are still looking at my phone. Will never use again!

United Kingdom | 16 October 2014I haven't had a great experience with this company. If I could give them no stars, i would have. Their promise to pay within 48 hours of recieving your phone is a complete lie (I am currently on day 6). On my account page on their web site they have confirmed that they have recieved the phone. I have tried to contact them both by email and phone, but they don't even acknowledge the emails or answer the phone. I will update this if anything happens. I am also contacting trading standards with my concerns. To FoneHUb - please don't bother replying to this review with your stock answer, it only adds insult to injury! As a follow up to my review above, Fonehub emailed me and informed me that the money they owed me would be in my account by 5 o'clock yesterday, which it was. I would recommend that anyone experiencing issues with fonehub, contact them by email to raise your concerns, this definitely worked for me.

Jacquie (Ash,
United Kingdom | 02 October 2014Whole process very quick and Fonehub paid me the price they quoted in their original estimate. I had a realistic view of the value of the phone and I was honest about the condition it was in. I would definitely use them again.

United Kingdom | 02 October 2014I sent my iPhone 4s of with an offer of £100 2 days later received an email saying that they could only offer me £60 for it. I emailed back saying I wouldn't accept. 2 days later I got another email saying they could offer me £65. Once again I emailed them straight back not accepting the offer and wanted my phone sent out. 2 days later the money got put into my bank so I rang them up the women put me on hold for ten minutes so I put the phone down rang back took me about 6 times to finally get through she then says il put you through to my manager as he will be able to assist you further. Speak to the manager he didn't have a clue what he was talking about said he will try and trace my phone and get back to me same day or next. Also I'd already been on another comparison site and got package sent out and told him that I can get £90 for the phone and he says how do you know that I told him as iv got the package and they have offered me that with the details iv sent them. These are horrible don't seem to know what there doing themselves so please avoid fingers crossed I get my phone back in the same condition I sent it !!!!!!!!

United Kingdom | 17 September 2014Sent my iPhone in and got the price they quoted. I did have to get in touch as it was over a week. But they got straight back to me and the money was in the bank by tea time. Would use again.

United Kingdom | 15 September 2014I sent 1 phones totalling £150.00 to Fonehub in perfect condition. Once they had received my phones, they then sent me a revised offer for £100 in total as the LEDs on my screen were showing white spots so are damaged?!! Funny that as it was in perfect condition when it left here!! I then emailed back to refuse this offer and request for them to send my phones back as it was a joke. 4 emails and 4 days later still no response. I then tried to call (engaged constantly and they then put the phone down on you if you do get through!)....phone still not returned, and still awaiting for it to be resol...Anyway, avoid like the plague.. absolute joke of a company who are nothing but thieves. And regarding their 99% customer satisfaction... that is because they control the reviews on their website - it is impossible to write a review without emailing them first!! Unreal!

United Kingdom | 05 September 2014I sent my phone to Fone Hub and got an acknowledgement two days later. The website said my payment would be processed within two working days. I had heard nothing by day three, and then I saw some of the reviews on here and got a bit worried. I emailed and phoned, that day, and got a reply saying I would get full price for my phone, and the money is in my account on day four. They need to work on timing and communication, but overall a good experience for me.

United Kingdom | 01 September 2014Like many others (unfortunately I was lured in by a comparison website, and failed to look at reviews until AFTER I started getting suspicious) Fone Hub gave me what appears to be the Fone Hub Service: 1. Quote you higher than any competitor 2. Receive your handset and take a few days to "process" 3. Reduce offer (by about 25% in my case - CONSIDERABLY lower than other competitors on original comparison site) 4. Between the stingy business hours of 11am to 5pm, they are available to call to provide a bogus excuse for reduction (apparently huge deep scratches in my screen... I wonder who put those there?) 5. Revise offer (because they know they are scammers and they're hoping I can't be bothered to retrieve my phone, accept the lower offer, and not make a fuss. Wrong.) from Ryan the manager. Ryan's understanding of "Terms & Conditions" (ie. contractual obligations) is about as good as his written English (see his very heartfelt and considered responses to other people below). 6. Request that my phone be returned in EXACTLY the condition in which it was received (although be mindful that they don't have a system in place for recording parcels that are damaged... which would of course pass liability to courier, not smart.) 7. Wait a week, call (again, between the very helpful hours of 11.00 & 17.00) to see if they've actually stolen my phone. They explained that there was a "delay" (thanks for letting me know) BUT that coincidentally my phone was to be dispatched this day (or was it because I chased you?) 8. 1-2 working days later, I'm still waiting. Note: there's a difference between Royal Mail tracked vs. Signed for, so the 'signed for' number provided just tells me that it hasn't been delivered yet, but not if it's dispatched/enroute. My advice, use Envirofone or Mazuma (I'm sorry I went elsewhere this time) OR make sure you have an extremely detailed record of the condition of your phone (photos) before you send it to these fraudsters - you might need it when you too end up going to trading standards.

United Kingdom | 22 August 2014Scammers. Sent a fully working phone to them. Non-Working price was £15. One guess as to what they offered me.... the non-working price. Came up with some ridiculous excuses to pay me the lowest price. The way they work is that when you compare prices online the seem good compared to the others, then they offer you a stupid price one you've sent them your phone. I then had to chase them a few times to get them to send my phone back. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

United Kingdom | 15 August 2014I sent 2 phones totalling £150 to Fonehub in perfect condition. Once they had received my phones, they then sent me a revised offer for £50 in total as the LED's are my screen were showing white spots so are damaged?!! Funny that as it was in perfect condition when it left here!! I then emailed back to refuse this offer and request for them to send my phones back as it was a joke. 4 emails and 4 days later still no response. I then tried to call (engaged constantly and they then put the phone down on you if you do get through!). Only after emailing then stating if I did not hear back by a certain time, I would call the police did they contact me. The best part was they said 'oh we'll give you another £10 in total!!!'... doesnt take a genius to work out that is the cost of posting them back to me!! Anyway, avoid like the plague.. absolute joke of a company who are nothing but thieves. And regarding their 99% customer satisfaction... that is because they control the reviews on their website - it is impossible to write a review without emailing them first!! Unreal!
