Unfortunately I, like most of the people that have used this band of robbers, was sucked in by the amount they were prepared to pay for your phone, compared to the other more reputable and honest companies available. Basically I sent my phone off 5 weeks ago, in the envelope they provided, and guess what....it has not turned up at their premises. I have sold many phones in the past, with other companies and never had my phone gone missing. I have phoned the company, and after numerous attempts to contact them, the phone was answered by someone.... I say someone, as all they said when they picked up my call was 'Yeah, who is it? '. Straight away I knew I would never see my phone again, or at least get some money for it. I just wished I had read the reviews before using them. Avoid at all costs!

The worst company ever! They say they will pay a certain amount for your phone and then downgrade it is the hope you will accept it. You have to pay the high postage to get your phone back. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! They are cheats a liars and I would NEVER use them or recommend them to anyone! STEER CLEAR OF THIS SCAM!!!

Sent my phone in after receiving the free post envelope - this was supposed to have a freepost sticker, but it was just a freepost piece of paper printed so I had to stick it on. One week later I had an automated email saying they were knocking the price down from £74 to £34 as they need to do a "system reboot" on my "working" phone - reason being - "sorry these things sometimes happen" !!! That was the only explanation I was given!! So I emailed back and said I want my phone back or the original offer as there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. They emailed back (automated email) after 3 days saying they had a "technician" looking into it.... 13 DAYS later!! I emailed them to say I want my phone back now! Within hours I had 2 confusing emails that contradicted each other - all automated responses - saying here's your revised offer of £74 and a tracking number, and the other saying your order has been cancelled ?! WHAT?? After emailing them back asking what the hell was going on, I also called their number on the website....it rang and rang and then I got an automated message saying "there is no one available to take your call and you cannot leave a message"....Great! So I'm now still waiting for my phone back! What a ridiculous, infuriating, almost criminal company. DISGUSTING!

I called up and spoke to Age, enquiring about their services. Although he politely stated that he did not have the facilities to help solve my problem, he went above and beyond to search for a business that would. He was very friendly the entire time. Would not hesitate to recommend this business to anyone!

I ended up requested 2 envelopes to send my phone. The first never arrived and the second didn't have enough postage paid on it so the 'free post' wasn't actually free. My phone went missing in transit (so I'm lead to believe...) and Fonehub took almost 3 months to give me my money back as claims with pre-paid envelopes must be facilitated between Royal Mail and the company in question. Only when threatened with legal action did they actually send the money! I have used this company twice before with no issues but there is certainly something dodgy going on recently and I would never use them again after the stress they have put me through over the last 3 months.

I sent them my phone last Friday. They confirmed receipt on Tuesday. Funds were paid today. They did offer a lower price but still more than other companies at the reduced price. Website clearly states that if reduced offer isn't accepted it will cost £5 to return phone. Felt that I have been kept updated at every step of the process. They even phoned me when I placed the order to tell me that they didn't have freepost bags but I had already made my own bag using their freepost address. No problems with royal mail providing proof of postage. All in all, happy with service and felt they were upfront about all their processes and procedures.

I read all of the negative reviews but thought I'd take a chance and send my Samsung S4 to them. I recorded my phone working for 4 hours before also showing the IMEI number then it being packed and handed to courier as proof that phone was good and in working order. I also took screen shots of each page of their website that I completed should I have any issues as reported in the reviews. Thankfully none of the above were needed as the transaction went through smoothly. Phone was delivered to them last Thursday and I received payment into my account today with no chasing or hassle at all. Glad I took the risk and I would use them again!

Beware I had a perfectly good working phone I sent to this company. On arrival they disputed the fact the phone was working and refused to pay me. This was despite the fact I had removed all my data from the phone before I had sent it so knew it turned on and I made sure I packaged it extremely well. They then wanted £5 plus to return it to me which was more than they were going to me pay me in the first place. It may only be a few pounds but its the principal that counts. I did everything according to their terms and never received a penny! Use an alternative company!

Had some trouble with the Royal Mail. Didn't deliver until a week later and used the free bag sent to me. Upon arrival, it took them one and a half day to get back to me about payment. I expected a price drop because the screen was cracked so there was a £20 decrease from £85 which is still higher than other offers from different companies. Got my payment 2 days later. Reply to emails within a few hours so all in all speedy and satisfying service.

*They ignore emails. *Envelope came 3 weeks later ( I made my own sending arrangements as envelope was a no show until week 3 ). * Offer much higher prices than the others ( it IS too good to be true but a sexy website which must have cost them a small fortune ) entices the unwary , as it did me. * Stay well away !

I sent my phone off to this company as they quoted the higher price online. Once received the offered me a substantial lowerror offer I refused 4 days later another offer made still low. Their reason was the phone had scuff marks which were definitely not there before I sent the phone away. I wouldn't of sent it in that condition. I requested pictures were sent to me that took a week I can't see much on them and you can't blow them up much. So now I apparently send £5 to get phone back it cost me £8 to send it there so that's £13 out of pocket and if they send the phone to me that's damaged I won't be able to do anything with it. I have photos evidence of it before it was sent. Never a manager available to talk to. Would definitely not recommend.

I submitted my phone via recorded delivery having received an offer of £133. This was much higher than other companies. It took about 10 days before I could get Fonehub to confirm that they had received my phone. Eventually they sent me an email offering me a reduced amount of £96 for my phone which I accepted as it was still higher than other places. After waiting about a week I had not received the money despite assurances from Fonehub that they had paid the money. After a number of emails they eventually sent another offer this time £98 (can only assume they didn't realise that they had sent previous one) . Again I accepted this offer however the money was not forthcoming. After a number of emails threatening to take legal action the money appeared in my bank account. The whole process took over a month with a lot of hassle.

Offered £90 for my phone. It was in perfect condition. They reduced offer to £55 without explaining why and refuse to. So £7 to send to them and then £5 to get the phone back. They have you over a barrel, accept the reduced offer or pay £5 to get the phone back, The phone they obtained by deception. A nice little scam. Can't be legal and certainly not ethical, but of course they hide behind the small print.

I find this company very bad. They give you an offer and it says on there site paid in 2 days . I waited a month no money but a lower offer. They don't answer the phone and it just seems a big con. Would never use them again and advise anyone else avoid at all costs.

I won't deny the service is slow and it is difficult to contact the company, don't bother with the 0207 number on the site, Google earth shows the company's store front with a mobile contact, 07940369992, which put me straight through to someone. I would probably use a different service in the future, but all in all, I did receive payment, albeit a revised, lower offer. Order completed on 09.06.2016 Payment completed on 22.06.2016

best offer for phone above all others. sent phone off recorded delivery. waited weeks only to be told that the phone, which I had been using up until I posted it, was no good" this happens sometimes " was the comment. not satisfied I asked for my phone to be returned. this took 3 weeks and several e mails. as soon as I got my phone back I charged it up, put my sim card in, restarted the phone and amazingly after setting it up it worked perfectly. work out for your self what I thought. if I had not demanded my phone back I would be severely out of pocket. as I have sold it on already in full working condition,

Sent phone special delivery. Despite acknowledging receipt it took five weeks, several calls and emails to get payment. Very poor service and I would use another company even if the payment offered is lower.

They offer the highest price just to get your business, thought I'd take a chance and sent phone off. I did ask for an envelope to post which turned up 3 weeks later and I had to pay £2 postage because fonehub underpaid postage. Then made a lame excuse and knocked the price down by £50, asked for phone back and they wanted me to pay postage even thou there website says you wouldn't have. Decided to just take the offer to avoid anymore problems then it takes them over a week to make payment plus 3 days to clear funds. Just don't use them, better companies out there that don't rip you off

Got a quote for my old phones from this company and it was the best offer by a few pounds so decided to go ahead. Waited three weeks for them to send an envelope and when it did arrive (today) I had to pay £2 for insufficient postage. Tried to phone them four times but "call cannot be taken" so left a message. I was concerned that if I used their free postage they would not arrive but the phones weren't worth enough to warrant paying for special delivery. The fact that the padded envelope was sent in a pre-printed postage envelope which had been stamped by Royal Mail as "THIS ITEM HAS BEEN SURCHARGED DUE TO INVALD PAYMENT" set alarm bells ringing, so I decided to look on here. So glad I did!
