United Kingdom | 30 January 2021I wanted to sell my IPhone and the lovely lady over the phone assisted me. She was lovely, she gave me an estimate over the phone which I was happy with. Came down to the shop was welcomed by two lovely gentlemen, they checked the phone to make sure everything was okay and not stolen etc , my phone passed the test took about 30 mins to check, signed some documents and it was happy days after that. Recommend this company to anyone wanting to sell or buy any phone. Great service.

She wanted a larger screen and when she posted her Samsung mobile - not even received a penny. Company has been reported to the police for fraud! How can the be so callus to cheat on a child ?

United Kingdom | 29 July 2020Sent phone recorded, had to call them 1 week after they received & signed for it to be told it was in bad condition which it wasnt as i have pictures , and it would not be worth anything, i asked them to send it back and am still waiting for confirmation, that was 2 weeks ago...SCAMMERS. UPDATE---- after posting this review I received a phone call from fonehub questioning my comments, after a slightly heated discussion and 2 calls later I agreed to accept 50% of the original offer for the phone and to update my review.......

Accepting the offer still no payment after 2 weeks breaking their own terms and conditions of 2 days. I took one month before i got my reduced money, but it did start court proceedings for £25. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY

They even claimed they hadn't received the phones initially and it was only when I told them that they would still have to pay me and reclaim from Royal Mail that they suddenly appeared. At least 3 emails sent telling me that payment had been sent when clearly it had not. One excuse after another ended with me threatening taking them to Trading Standards, before the funds were received

United Kingdom | 12 July 2019Bad is the best thing I can say about my experience with this store! I would recommend people avoid dealing with a retailer that does not care or consider the customer. My phone was with them for almost 2 months for troubleshooting/repair, and when I got it back it was worst than before! No contact, follow up, apology... nothing. Avoid this shop for repairs. Actually, I wouldn't give them any of my business!

United Kingdom | 14 May 2019The other reviews explain very well the experience In summary, expect the following an artificially high made up price offered on site you send the phone and you will not hear from them - you will have to chase if you are lucky enough to get your phone processed, expect a significant downward adjustment to price, for no reason whatsoever then again if you are persistent and chase, if you are really really lucky you might get payment I did eventually get paid and consider myself lucky! Also do not bother to email, they will never answer, and if you are lucky, you just might get someone to answer the phone Avoid, use a reputable company instead!

United Kingdom | 31 March 2019Sent these guys a Brand new iPhone x Brand new in the box sealed with protective wrapper still on the phone, I sent it to them because A, My partners phone had been stolen B, It was insured but a new phone would take up to 21 days to come C, I bought her a new one at a cost of £949.99 from john lewis and had no need of the brand new replacement that the insurer had sent to me. I searched the internet High and low and also took the phone to numerous establishments such as CEX, Pawnbrokers etc which was time consuming but nessecary in order to minimulise my loss and get the best price possible for her iPhone as I new I would not get full retail and already be taking a huge loss. FoneHub gave me the highest valuation of £580.00 I delivered it to there office which is in Whitechapel by the way if anyone wants to know there whereabouts. I called them numerous times to see what was going on with my phone and the guy on the phone was if by design unable to help me. I checked my online account with them and it appears they have saw fit to send me £430.00 by back payment (Which I still have not received) Without consulting me on the price reduction of a whole £150.00 ?????? Avoid at all costs.

Took a brand new phone to their shop in Yate straight out of the box and got them to fit protection screen . Walked home and went to use my new phone, couldn't operate phone through the screen and then it came unstuck. No use at all. Took it back to get a refund and told I couldn't have one. The man slammed his phone down on my screen protector and smashed it. Still wouldn't give me a refund and really didn't want to give me another protection screen. I made sure I got one not that I will be using it as it is rubbish. Bad tempered staff, no customer service skills and rip off merchants. Avoid these people like the plaque. Pay a bit more at a reputable shop which offers guarantees.

United Kingdom | 01 December 2018I have used 2 different firms for recycling my phone. These guys gave the highest quote for my brand new boxed spare phone. Which is why i went with them. they then reduced the quote telling me it would cost me to get my phone back, they then took, over 4 weeks to make payment for 40% reduction in the price they originally quoted. Which only happened when I emailed them stating that I was likely to call the police.

After reading the reviews I went down to London on some business so thought I would drop my phone off and see if the reviews were correct. As soon as I arrived I was told the s9 price had dropped due to some bs reason and that the website was updating please see the website hasn't updated the s9 plus brand new price from 515 in the last 2 weeks. Zainab then started calling the manager who could only approve the sale tomorrow they offered me 420 then the next day I chased them to be offered 440 I declined and decided to sell with a more reputable firm. When I attended to get my phones they offered 450 they are a rinky dink small time operation that learnt sales and management from a cereal box it seems. Do not sell your phone to these cowboys rather take a little less to go with a reputable organisation. These guys think there operating on the roadside of a 3rd world country

United Kingdom | 06 November 2018Cannot give them lower than 1.Poor service,delayed communications,offer received was far less than quoted initially.Phone was kept in a case since purchase,had a srcreen saver on since purchase,was in “as new condition”Thier reply was “casing is damaged with too many scuff marks”.....absolute rubbish there wasn’t a mark on the handset.Still have not been sent the phone back despite e mails and telephone calls.Then they even sent me a revised offer of upping this by 20 pounds which was still 85 pounds under the quoted offer.Wish i checked Trustpilot first.Lying,cheating con artists.Un update i eventually agreed a price and it still took them over 2 weeks for payment to be received despite promises that payment had been made.A totally untrusted company.Seller beware

United Kingdom | 21 August 2018I wish I had checked Trust Pilot first. My experience is the same as everyone else's on here. In short, don't use this company. Phone given revised offer, like everyone else, even though kept in top quality condition. It is probably their business model to con people into using them, instead of going with other companies. Give them a fair offer, but then revise it down to make a larger profit. Greedy and unscrupulous! But worse they still haven't paid what they quoted. I have phoned them and emailed them, and was guaranteed the money would be transferred by a certain date. Of course it wasn't. I am now about to take them to the small claims court. What a complete and utter joke this company is. They've wasted my time, and are basically a bunch of crooks. Why has trading standards not done anything about them? They should be behind bars.

I sent an I phone 6S which was in pristine condition and accepted their offer . They reduced the value by £50 stating it had dead pixels. This was in February 2018, to date i have not been able to get the phone back or receive any payment at all. Its scandalous that they can still trade when they are deliberately scamming people.
