After visitng some websites i found the fonehub are paying the higest price. i placed the order on friday and sent it on saturday. On tuesday I got an email form fonehub for payment transferd. Thanks to fonehub a fast service.

They state "2-3 working days form receipt of phone".....mine was nearly 2 weeks from receipt of phone. On a positive note, I did get the odd email telling me my payment would be processed soon...........hmmmmm ok.

United Kingdom | 07 March 2017Guys this is the fastest site I have ever sold. I sold my mums Iphone 6 and received my cheque in a exactly 3days; unbelievable. I posted it for next day delivery on Monday and received the cheque on Thursday. Because my family are found of Iphone, every year we sell our old phone to sellmymobile, webuyanyphone,musicmagpie etc. To me Fonehub is the best; 3days unbelievable!!!

I was basically told by Fonehub that they wouldn't pay me until I removed my negative feedback, which of course I did. However I have now been paid so I'm putting it back on... 'I was offered £210 for my iPhone 6 by Fone Hub. The phone was in perfect condition and didn't have a single scratch anywhere on it. I sent the phone to Fone Hub in its original box with the charger, instructions and unused headphones. The phone was valued at £195 after being tested by Fone Hub. They have not given me a reason as the why the valuation was £15 lower than the original valuation, despite asking on 5 separate occasions. My question is being ignored because there isn't a reason as to why the valuation has decreased, because the phone was in perfect condition. If they have decreased the valuation of my phone they will decrease the valuation of any / every phone because there was absolutely no reason to decrease the valuation of mine. I accepted the offer because by the time postage is paid (from Fonehub, to new phone recycler) there is little value in going elsewhere. However, if I was offered £195 at the beginning I would have not have used Fonehub. The reviews of this company are horrific and I can see why. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews until I ran into problems. Don't be sucked in by high valuations. Accept a slightly lower valuation from a reputable company because Fonehub will not pay you what they quote. Avoid.' Please do not bother calling me to ask me to remove this feedback, it is completely true. I have recycled many phones in the past and this is the first time I have not been paid what I was quoted. Coincidentally it is the first time I've used Fonehub too. Fonehub did eventually tell me there was a feint mark on the phone which is why the valuation was reduced, which is a lie as the phone was like brand new. They also took around 10 days to pay me. The only way this feedback will be removed is if you pay me the rest of the money you owe me. Don't ring me because I won't answer. You have my address, come to my door, make sure you've got 15 quid with you.

The customer service agent I eventually spoke to was extremely professional helpful and sympathetic to the service I had received. I was paid promptly the next day into my bank account. She had great customer care skills and for that I am extremely grateful.

United Kingdom | 27 February 2017On the whole, a fair experience. However, it's not cheap to send your phone to them with insurance as they suggest, or get it back if you wish to do so. Had some problems, not their fault (phone locked when should not have been). What really bothered me when querying the price, was a 'revisit' by their technicians that suddenly identified excessive scratches that were not there (i had photographic evidence) and had they been, should have been identified from the start, thus a reduced price offered. After proving point, came to a satisfactory agreement and payment made swiftly (although hard to tell, as on your bank account there is no indication from whom it came). Use this company and you will get everything swiftly, but something tells me, try somebody else first.

United Kingdom | 21 February 2017I used fonehub about 4 years ago so decided to sell my phone again to them as I had a good experience last time. I sent my phone off to them recorded delivery and after a week I still had no confirmation that they has at least received it. So I googled them to find their number to find a load of bad reviews which worried me. The girl that answered seemed very indifferent to my call and didn't give me a warm feeling that it was being dealt with. A few more days had passed and still nothing so I found a mobile number on trustpilot that someone had found via the google maps and had zoomed in on the shop. I urge anyone who has sent them their phone to call this number 07940 369992 as after my one phone call to the shop I couldn't ever again get anyone to answer the phone. This mobile number is someone who works at the shop and assured me that it was being processed and that the cheque I requested was fine. He seemed a bit more with it than the other person. The next day I received an email saying that their cheque system was having severe problems and could I send them my bank details?!. After reading many other people saying the same thing for the past year I smelt a rat and demanded that they send me a cheque asap otherwise I will not let it drop and will be going legal. To their credit they did respond saying that the cheques were being generated and I should receive it within 3 days. it did actually arrive after 2 days which I was surprised about given the bad reviews. I did actually get all the money so it only begs the questions that the people that had theirs reduced must have had problems with their phone. Even though I received my money 2 weeks after posting and was offered much more money than Mazuma I still wont be using them again as its to much stress. I suggest that if your phone is not damaged and in good working order you are far better off selling it to CEX as you can take it in and get cash there and then. CEX would have given me £50 and Mazuma only £30. Fonehub £58 surprisingly but not worth the hassle!!!

From my experience i would definitely recommend fonehub as much as they were originally recommended to me by a friend and would use them again. Angelo

United Kingdom | 16 February 2017The phone was sent in for appraisal. NINE days later they reduced their first value on the grounds that it had been TEN days since their initial offer. I declined their amended offer at which point they demanded £5 to return the phone in spite of their website claim that all phones will be returned free of charge. I emailed these points asking for their reaction. No reply.... you may draw your own conclusions. Mine are above. There is a reply below. No offer to reimburse and no defence of the dates and reductions. As I said... Draw your own conclusions....
