United Kingdom | 15 February 2017I sent my iPhone 6 in over 3 weeks ago now and still have not received my money? I have tried to contact FoneHub by phone and have never had the phone answered, I have sent multiple emails requesting an update with no response. I'm now looking at bring the police into this situation as it doesn't seem to be just me with this issue.

United Kingdom | 10 February 2017Overall I was satisfied with my revised offer. The service was good. I received good communication from the company both by phone and email. The lady in the office was most helpful and made a prompt transaction within an hour once the offer was accepted. I felt confident dealing with the company.

United Kingdom | 08 February 2017Foolishly I didn't look at reviews of this company and just went on the price advertised as I had two phones to sell. Both phones had very minor cosmetic issues but only normal wear and tear. By swapping the back of one phone with another one of the phones would have been absolutely perfect (but I didn't do this). I was gobsmacked by the revised offer (a 25% reduction) from this company and complained to CompareMyMobile who agreed that the behaviour of FoneHub was unacceptable. They took up my case and I got a revised offer from FoneHub (paltry increase of £10 per phone). They would return the phones if I paid a further £5. I accepted the offer because I don't have the time to spend on the hassle and the best I can do is to advise you to consider other companies rather than this one. Behaving this way crosses my values of fairness and integrity so if you don't want to feel that you have been treated badly and ripped off avoid this one.

United Kingdom | 07 February 2017They offer you a good price, but once they get your phone they come up with lies and offer you about half the original offer. Despite emails denying their lies, they wouldn't budge on price, so I accepted. They said they had trouble with paying by cheque, and wanted my bank details. I refused (they probably sell the details on to other crooks), and eventually (1 month later) I received a cheque. However, if you get a cheque from them, look at the envelope carefully, before trying to extract the cheque. It is stapled through the envelope, and would have ripped if I had just pulled it out. I am sure my bank would have been suspicious of a taped-up cheque! DO NOT USE>

United Kingdom | 27 January 2017Don't use this firm. Ignore e-mails sent to them. Cannot get anyone to answer phone. Then say they need your bank account details as they are having problems sending out cheques. Don't give them your bank details. One big con

United Kingdom | 27 January 2017After sending my phone in they tried telling me they never received it and did all they could not to pay me. But after a lot and I mean A LOT of emails over 30 days worth of them to royal mail and fonehub. I did in the end get all my money I was ment to get. Please stay away from this company but if you already sent phone off do not give up keep on to them and if needs be report to police if you have proof of postage as it's the only way you will get your money

United Kingdom | 18 December 20161 star is even too much. Just complete conners say they haven't received phone. Steer clear

United Kingdom | 16 December 2016I've sent my samsung galaxy s4, pristine condition on 6th Dec, i even sent the cover. i had to pay almost £8 for special delivery as they recommend that, otherwise cannot guarantee receipt. the next day it shows on their website receipt of the phone, since then, 10 days have passed and nothing. no response from anyone, only a message on their website showing 'pending'. they don't pick up the phone, and you can't even leave a message. messages left on their website via 'contact us' have not been responded to. i've chose them as they offered the best price for my phone, and after a few emails and messages they've finally paid on the 10th day. I can only hope this was not a one off.

United Kingdom | 12 December 2016I sent a pristine condition Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and even applied a screen protector before sending it off to protect it in carriage. I then received an email telling me my phone was damaged beyond normal wear and tear and my offer was reduced by £30. Unfortunately this seems to be a recurring pattern with these thieves. Their loss as I recycle a large number of handsets but these guys won't be receiving anymore. Avoid, you will not get what they originally offer you

United Kingdom | 01 December 2016Offered free postage, but when I received the bag it was only on phones up to £50, so I paid £8 to send it. They then promptly knocked £50,off my pristine phone. They told me I would receive my money in two days.....11 days later and numerous calls I am still waiting. Do not even contemplate using this appalling, deceitful and extremely badly run company!!

United Kingdom | 26 November 2016These guys offered me top money for my old iPhone which was in immaculate condition having always been kept in a completely enclosed case. You would have had a job to identify it next to a new one. Yet like many other people when they got the phone they devalued the offer due to damage. I asked them to return the phone 3 times as I would not accept anything other than the £120 offered. They went from £90 up to £100 and then £110 over subsequent emails but out of principle I insisted on them sending me the phone back which costs £5 ! what a nightmare company. Went back to Mazuma sent the phone on the Wednesday and money in the bank on Friday - Excellent service. Don't be tempted by the false offer of extra money !

Sweden | 23 November 2016If you are sending a device to this company make sure you pay the extra to get proof of delivery. My devices allegedly were not received in August of this year and despite several emails and a promised call back, they have yet to respond. Try calling their number - no one picks up and you can't leave a message.

United Kingdom | 17 November 2016Avoid this company they are a joke. Online says they take no responsibility for lost items in post but if item is lost they are the only one who can make a claim and then you lose all round as they will not pay you a penny. They have robbed me and now have the police involved.

United Kingdom | 15 November 2016I went with fonehub.co.uk to sell my iPhone 6 Plus as they offered the best price (£30 more than the rest). After sending the phone special delivery as requested by them (at a cost to me of £7.50. They do offer a free post service but, they didn't recommend using it!) I got a conformation of receipt next day. I then received an offer £30 less then the original offer. The reason given was that the battery got warm whilst charging! I immediately sent an email response stating the phone was in A1 condition and, as an electrical engineer, I could tell them it is completely normal for a battery to get warm during charging. They were obviously trying it on. They offered me an extra lousy £7. I was not happy but couldn't be doing with the hassle of having the phone returned so I excepted it. It then took 2 weeks of trying to get hold of someone (they don't answer the phone very often) and being told I would get my money the next day (I didn't first time round!). I did eventually get paid out but less than they stated and with a lot of stress and hassle. Keep clear in my opinion. Customer service very poor!!!

United Kingdom | 13 November 2016Awful, Awful,Awful. Sent a perfectly good phone that i had used until two days prior to sending. I received an email over a week later stating it was poor condition and values at £0.00. I disagreed with this and asked for my phone back. I am still waiting. This was over a fortnight ago. They have something of mine, they haven't paid me for it and are refusing to give it me back. They are Thieves. DO NOT USE Them.

John
United Kingdom | 11 November 2016Sent them the phone recorded delivery as price agreed was slightly higher than envirofone which we have used in the past. After a week with no response called the customer helpline just an automated response that offers no information. Then sent them an email no reply...... Sent a second email no reply looks like they have no intention of honouring the agreement

United Kingdom | 06 November 2016My girlfriend used FoneHub for two old phones we finally decided to recycle, really wish we hadn't used them as the same as other people here, the phones were never received and no payment received. They deny receiving them even though neither of us have had a problem with other phone recyclers ever before. Anyone thinking of using fonehub do not!
