United States | 02 February 2025First of all, I shouldn't give this company a 1 star. 1/29/2025 I made a transaction with a large amount for emergency medical reasons, and I was required to provide identification as per their policy for verification which I complied. They said it would take 5 minutes or 24-48 hours. I waited for 5 minutes on the app indicated in their review. But the money was already deducted from my account. After 24 hours I called customer service, but I had to wait 1.5 hrs. Then I told customer service and asked the status of the verification and if they could expedite the process due to a medical emergency, she said that she would put it the file to expedite, and it would be completed in 2hrs, and the transaction would be completed, waited for 2hrs nothing happen so I called back again waited more than an hour. Another lady at customer service said it was already in the file, and it was an emergency and urgent since it was almost the end of the day; she said it would be the next day. So, I waited again the next day (..3rd day) and the app said it was still in review. So, I called again and waited more than 1 hour. So, I asked again what's the update, this time the customer service told me that I was missing the back of my ID I told her I'd uploaded my ID twice, the front and back, and a selfie, and asked, why just today I was asked that there is a problem with my verification. They are supposed to call me or send an email as per their note in the transaction if they need more info. And this lady (VIDA is her name, I guess) asked me if I wanted to cancel the transaction and refund the money that would take 3 days to return to my account. I asked if I could talk to the manager, and she responded WHY? (with an attitude!) Of course, I wanted to file a complaint, and she said you need a reason (duh!) and she put me on hold and then hung up on me. So I called back waited again, another customer service told me that the transaction was canceled, and she could not do anything, and I asked if I could speak to the manager or supervisor, and she transferred me to the manager his name was Real employee number 1029. I don't know if that is his real name and I've explained the whole scenario and he apologized and told me if I can redo the transaction, it will not be on hold .....well damage has been done. So, how can I do the transaction if the money is not yet in the bank, and I've already wasted 3 days? Now I have to wait another 3 business days to return my money in the bank... I told him that I would file a complaint and give a number so I could make a call, and he said we don't have a direct number but it's already in the file that I wanted to file a complaint and he said they will call me within 24hrs, and I told him; to call me and train their people way better service with their customer. Also, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. With this experience, if you are planning to send a large money go to your bank and use the wire transfer since this company was not FDIC or NCUA insured. I've been patient and reasonable, but this company fails to comply with its terms and conditions and customer service. As of today, no refund reflected in my account.

Haven't used customer service yet in 2/3 year so can't talk about that - should also confirm their good service, for never needing to.
