Firstly, the unit provided was very basic; our unit didn't even have Bluetooth, making it difficult to hear the GPS. Two hours into our trip, the left mirror broke. It started spinning on its axis and couldn't be secured. Have you ever tried driving a huge 30-foot truck without knowing what's happening on your left? I would not recommend it. I called roadside assistance and requested help, but they refused to send someone, despite the risk to my family. I had to drive over 40 miles to a small town and fix the mirror with duct tape. The next day, I called and asked for a replacement unit. They told me to wait 30 minutes (without leaving the camp) but never called back. I called again, and they asked for 15 more minutes, but they still didn't call back. This continued for 4 hours. Finally, at 11 am, I decided to leave, and they never contacted me. I called the next day asking for a manager. They promised one would get back to me, but it never happened. A few other things: The furnace didn't work, leaving our family of 5 in Oregon at night at 35°F / 2°C without heating. The mileage was terrible, only 15 gallons per 100 miles. The truck was so loud it was almost impossible to talk while driving.. All in all, it was far from a pleasant experience for a trip we had planned for two years, saved money for four years, and paid thousands for the unit.

The guys in the shop were GREAT! Clearly overworked and a "Karen" was being difficult but they were courteous and kind, funny too! We rented for three days the 4th through 7th and it was about $250. Clean, nice rig with lots of space.

The camper itself was great and our family can't wait to go on our next adventure with Cruise America. The only issue we had which is causing this to be a rating of 3...the refrigerator required us to run the generator more than necessary just to try and keep food cold, which didn't work for 3 days. This caused us to buy excessive ice and store food in coolers to try and save the food. I feel like we used over 2x what we would have used when it comes to the generator. All in all, this was an amazing experience with many memories made.

Neligons in Bloomfield, CT was our pickup location. They were fabulous. Very friendly service, immaculately clean and well maintained rv. They were so knowledgeable and accomodating to our questions and needs. Would rent again from them in a minute.

Excellent customer service and RV worked great through out my trip. Insurance policies are great. It would have been better if you extended pickup/ drop off hours ( at least on summer days)

The RV was not in. Great shape. The air conditioner needed a recharge. The screens for the windows were broken, it rode rough and was very loud. It wasn't a comfortable ride, even the septic drain hose had a bad connection and was cracked. Too much money for such a used and rough Basic RV .

Mike at State Road Auto in Lakemore, IL was great. He was friendly, profesdional and easy to talk to. He explained the rental process in detail and went over the entire RV with me. This was my 1st experience and he addressed all of my concerns. Mike eliminated my anxiety which lead to a great overall ecperience.

Group camping event Camper was basic but worked fine.

If I could give this company no stars I would. I ordered linens for 4 people and we never received, was told we would get a credit, never happened. The motorhome we received had a bathroom door where the handle was busted and you couldn’t get the door open the guy doing the check list said don’t worry about this you have the insurance. Not sure how that helps to get into use the toilet. The interior lights/charging ports wouldn’t work. The generator wouldn’t run and in 95+ degree weather and 70-80% humidity it was miserable. Then on our way home from our awful adventure we were Pulled over because this rolling pile of junk on wheels had no running lights. When we turned this rental back In we were promptly charged for a dump fee when we dumped the sewer and left everything as identified in the paperwork and for trying to start the generator to run the AC. When we called the 800 line the lady was super rude and basically said there is nothing we can do for you call a different 800 number and express concern. I will never rent from these guys again.

Horrendous company. Booked 7 months in advance. Got there early but we’re told to come back 2 hours later with a timed appointment to then wait another hour being ignored to finally be seen and find out all the people without appointments had got in front of us. We were literally first there and last to be seen. Depot is in the middle of nowhere in LA so nothing to do. Then to top it off a van wasn’t ready as it was being cleaned so had to wait another hour. This meant we had no time to see our first town on the road trip as we were 4 hours behind schedule. Unfriendly useless team of 3 girls who didn’t care and didn’t know what they were doing. Horrible start to our holiday and would not use again and definitely not recommend. Avoid at all costs and use a different company! Vans not all that either. We were left with the end of the day scraps. Our van was old and it felt it! Like a shed on wheels. Lots of things broke including window latches, kettle, fly screen was already broken, amenity kits were rubbish too. Beds were awful and to rub salt in the wounds we had paperwork for the van we should have had which was new and modern but had clearly been given to someone else before us. It completely tainted the start of our holiday and I’ll be letting our tour operator know too.
